Your personal triggers and squicks do not get to determine what kind of art other people make.

People make shit. It's what we do. We make shit to explore, to inspire, to explain, to understand, but also to cope, to process, to educate, to warn, to go, "hey, wouldn't that be fucked up? Wild, right?"

Yes, sure, there are things that should be handled with care if they are used at all. But plenty more things are subjective. Some things are just not going to be to your tastes. So go find something that is to your tastes and stop worrying so much about what other people are doing and trying to dictate universal moral precepts about art based on your personal triggers and squicks.

I find possession stories super fucking triggering if I encounter them without warning, especially if they function as a sexual abuse metaphor. I'm not over here campaigning for every horror artist to stop writing possession stories because they make me feel shaky and dissociated. I just check Does The Dog Die before watching certain genres, and I have my husband or roommate preview anything I think might upset me so they can give me more detail. And if I genuinely don't think I can't handle it, I don't watch it. It's that simple.

Not to be THAT person but everyone should at the very least watch the MW2 campaigns before posting those goofy ahh headcanons cuz what do you mean Ghost, the man who was abused his whole life and has only known pain would raise his hand at you when angry or would SA you? The man is as gentle as they come, and he worked on his issues, despite all the trauma.

Don't even get me started on how they think Soap is dumb as if the man isn't literally a demolitions expert and the youngest member to pass the SAS selection, and let's not forget Gaz is a literal badass of a man, being the record holder of selection and surviving being shot at by multiple enemies and taking them down while hanging upside down by a rope from a moving helicopter in a high-stress mission.

Some of these cool ass characters have been completely butchered by a fandom who has mostly never even played the games or bothered watching gameplay of the campaign simply because ''oh cool masked man'', yucky.

How did people make up the slendermansion thing??? Since when was Slenderman a father figure???

Masky and Hoodie are the opposite of proxies, they work against Slenderman canonly. What made people think they're proxies??? They aren't even creepypastas.

And why do make them look so attractive? Ofc, there are ones that would look proper or even good but, some of them are burnt or their body got messed up some other way. And they would not act sweet, cute and nice.

Maybe the children wouldn't be as voilent and psychotic as the older ones. And again, there are creepypastas or characters from marble hornets and other slenderverse shows who wouldn't kill innocent people and work to protect them.

And did we just forget how Jeff the killer and Homocidal Liu are fanon versions of Jeffrey and Liu Hodek??? Whenever I see someone refer to the Hodek version of them people are just so confused.

Also Jane the killer and Jane everlasting are not the same person and they hate eachother canonly. Yes, they look similar and both hate Jeff the killer but, they're still so different in their stories! And where did yall get that Jane the killer either works for Slenderman or just kills people for shits and giggles??? She's an asassin and was an experiment subject. (for the people who didn't know this fact yet)

Remember kids, if you use Adobe and don't want them stealing your work, turn that setting Off under Privacy. It's On by default. They boast about using their own library for their gen/a/i stuff, when in reality they pull from every user who's ever touched Creative Cloud.

Ranting today because of the Illustrator update with a vector version of their gen/a/i. The ads are bad, but everywhere, making it seem like some magical program. Recently found some a/i work that looked eerily like my own, so I'm very sore about this today.

Also why not poison the well while you're at it and Glaze the images you post online.
