Clark's brain short circuit for a moment as he just got back of flying at great speed in the middle of deep space to thrown one of Lex's giants bombs destroy the city and come back in record time.

He turn a bit to look at his cape to see a tiny humanoid starlight dust covered child with white hair, glowing full green that look like white specks stars were implanted themselves into his big ol eyes, nawing on a handful of stardust with inhumanly sharp itsy bitsy fangs.

A small yet floating crown that look similar to one of Nasa pictures of far out space.

Did he just accidentally abducted an royal alien child/teen?

Dead serious soulmate au but in separate universes.

In the DP universe soulmates are widespread with pretty much everyone having one. In the past soulmates were only seen as purely romantic and it was abhorrent if you didn't have one, rejected/cut off your soulmate or they died before you.

Soulmates still heavily impact DP universes present society but not in the same ways as before. Current day Soulmates can be platonic or romantic and while it wasn't as demonized as it was in the past cutting off a soulmate is still an incredibly taboo.There are different types of soulmates (ie the red string, skin writing, telepathy, shared sensation,..)

Danny shares pain with his soulmate. While he can't exactly communicate directly with his soulmate he has the ability to heal them a little through the bond. Danny's soulmate was always getting hurt somehow or another to the point he had an unnaturally high pain tolerance by the time he turned 14.

His soulmate hasn't ever healed him back and sometimes Danny forgot he existed at all. As a half ghost it was so much easier to heal his soulmate; with just a surge of energy he could completely heal any injuries his soulmate acquired and go back to whatever it was he was doing before his soulmate got hurt.

Danny was fine with forgetting his soulmate existed. Whoever was on the other end clearly didn't want anything to do with him considering they couldn't even pitch in to heal a papercut. He would still heal his soulmate when he needed it but he just gave up hoping for any kind of relationship with him.

On the DC side of things Soulmates are extremely rare and little to nothing is know about them. Damian of course is one of the very few people who had a soulmate; the small blue soulmark on his chest was proof of that. Damian's soulmark was ignored treated like it didn't exist at all until the day it started healing him.

Then his soulmate was his everything. His soulmate was someone he needed to protect with every fiber of his being and someone he desperately needed to find. Damian kept these beliefs even after he left the league and especially when his soulmates healing powers got stronger.

After years of searching the last place he expected to meet his soulmate was some dingy alleyway...

He could finally start courting him.

Nightwing is investigating a traveling circus

There’s a lot of suspicion around it. Every time Circus Gothica visits a town, local accounts of robberies increase.

What flagged Nightwing’s attention was the fact that whoever is committing the crimes is good. Camera footage is corrupted. Theres no physical trace left behind. Local heroes report being attacked by strange glowing green monsters, who disappear shortly after being caught.

That, and Nightwing is feeling a bit nostalgic. An excuse to spend time with a circus? That’s reliving his childhood.

So when Circus Gothica visits Amity Park, Nightwing is there to investigate.

The town is fairly clean, especially compared to the streets of Gotham or Bludhaven. It’s almost strange to not smell smog in the air.

Townsfolk are friendly to the civilian disguise Nightwing is using. He introduces himself as an out of towner here on a trip to get away from the city. He asks about touristy things, but also fishes for information about possible villains or vigilantes in the area.

People complain about ghost attacks happening, many of them centered on the local school for some reason. They mention Inviso-Bill (Nightwing loves that name), local menace who fights these supernatural threats.

Nightwing spots some posters for Circus Gothica hung up around town. He reads the advertisement, and freezes.

One of the acts advertised is none other than The Flying Graysons.

Jason: Alright baby bro it's time for bed [throws 3 y.o Damian over his shoulder to the bed but in slow motion while making sounds like a plane is crashing]

Damian: [giggling]

Jason: [stops mid-throw] Wait wait, just to be safe [pulls out a toy grenade from his pocket] incase if there's any monsters down there [throws the grenade under the bed]

Tim: AAAAAHH WHAT THE FU- [frantically trying to crawl out]

Damian: [shrieks happly]

Danny is a clone; his parents had closely monitored and tracked his DNA donor carefully, until they were able to get ahold of some hair and blood. He's a clone of Wonder Woman.

Wonder Woman only finds out after Danny donates his blood for a medical experiment for extra cash, and the genetic testing they do on it pings one of Batman's many, many programs.
