walking into your shared apartment after a tiring day at work, a strong aroma of your favourite food found it’s way to you almost as soon as you opened the door. you hummed to yourself in satisfaction, closing your eyes for a brief moment before stepping inside and slipping off your shoes. as you closed the door behind you, a quick tapping was heard in the kitchen. sunoo had probably just cooked a meal and was finishing up.

you didn’t need to respond of let alone say anything for sunoo to realise how drained out and tired you were. slowly but surely, sunoo stayed swaying the both of you to the music while humming quietly. allowing yourself to move along with him, you rested your hands around his waist and placed your head on his chest . you listened to his heartbeat and closed your eyes, allowing yourself to completely relax into him.

one song let to the next and eventually, the sun had started to set, kissing sunoos face with beautiful golden light. you pulled away from his chest as the music stopped, all the songs he had on que finishing. having not shared a word for over an hour of dancing around with eachother, you decided to break the silence first.

“ thank you my love.. i really mean it.” you said softly, your voice cutting through the quiet surrounding. the only noise that could be bear were the very faint chatter of people and the beeping of cars every so often. he simply smiled down at you, resting his lips against your forehead before entangling his arms with your waist.

“ i love you y/n. so much.” he said confidently, causing you to look up at him, spotting a light pink hue casting across his pretty cheeks. “ i love you so much more.” you replied, a small giggle escaping your lips before you stood on your tippy toes and gave his a soft kiss on his nose.

he let go of you softly, smiling at you before slipping his hand into your and tugging you towards the kitchen. the both of you had slowly made your way to the living room while dancing. “ come on honey, let’s get some food into your belly hm?” he says, pulling out a dining chair for you and bringing the food over.

your doorbell rang, pulling you out of your thoughts. smiling almost instantly, you quickly stood up and skipped towards the door. you and jungwon were going to a new cafe which had just opened a few blocks down. heeseung had refused to take you when you asked because ‘ it will be too crowded’. even after multiple times, he still said no and you had eventually given up after a month. opening the door, expecting to see your friend, you instantly pulled whoever stood at the door into a tight hug.

“hii! i just need to grab my shoes and then we can leave!” you spoke quickly, pulling out of the hug only to be stopped by arms clinging onto your shoulders and holding you infront of them. confused, you looked up, only to be met with heeseungs piercing eyes. “ oh. hi heeseung” you said quietly as your smile started to falter.

“ why are you going with him?” heeseung asked you, loosening his grip on your shoulders before stepping to the side and closing the door behind him. “ you didn’t want to take me.” lifting your eyes off the floor to look at him with a soft huff. “ you know everything i say is for your own good right?” he speaks lowly, tilting his head slightly to the side before sighing and walking away, shaking his head.

“ you’re not going” you heard him call out from the kitchen, instantly making you scoff. you mumbled a quiet “ yeah right” under your breath before sitting on a small armchair you had that was placed carefully next to the front door. heeseung trailed back it, taking a sip of water from a bottle.

“ why are you still waiting? you’re not going, especially not with jungwon.” he said, walking over to you when he saw you roll your eyes with another scoff. “ don’t be like that y/n” he mumbled, clinging onto your wrist and tugging you up. “ stop heeseung. i’m going to go even if you don’t want me to.” you retorted, knowing he was going to try and guilt trip you. “ i already told you, it’s for your benefit. what if he likes you?” heeseung asks.

exactly as predicted. heeseung what trying to make this about not trusting you but subtly. “ at least jungwon would treat me better than you do. all you do is tell me what not to do. you didn’t even say hello to me when i opened the door to my house. i don’t want you here” you spat out, almost all in one breath.

now it was heeseungs turn to scoff. he shook his head, squinting his dark eyes down at you. “ so you don’t even want your own boyfriend here anymore?” he said softly, his demeanour completely different to the one it was earlier. you responded with a simple nod of your head before tugging your hand out of his grip with a slight struggle.

he didn’t notice how strong his grip on your hand was until he heard you sigh and rub at your bow red wrist. “ get out heeseung.” you said calmly, holding your wrist in your other hand before opening the door for him.

slowly, he made his way to the door with a slight po it and his head down, very obviously trying to make you feel pity. “ and i’m breaking up with you.”. that’s it, you cracked him. spinning on his heel after stepping out, he stared at you in disbelief with a snarl covering his cheeks. “ uh no you’re not” he says, scoffing and placing his foot between the door and doorframe to wedge it open.

instantly feeling your heartbeat rise, you lifted your gaze from his foot inbetween the door to him. “ heeseung stop.. leave” you said, inhaling and trying to maintain your calm exterior.

heeseung couldn’t deny it, trying to hide how scared he was is awfully hard. he started off with small things like not wanting you to wear anything revealing when he isn’t there which led him to his obsession of always watching over you and making sure he where you were at all times.

he insisted that it was to make sure you were safe but it had recently turned into pure possessiveness. only now had heeseung noticed how cruel he had truly been with you.

removing his foot away from the door, he nodded and gave you a small smile before stepping away from the door and closing it for you, leaving you really confused. he was just sure that he was going to. make sure your relationship remained?

stunned from recent events, the only thing left for you to do was wait for jungwon who when he came, got bombarded with the recent events.

soft purring echoed through the comforting silence of the room as the sun peeked through your while curtains. sunsets at your house have always been beautiful and now that you had ni-ki next to you, it couldn’t be better.

riki was still fast asleep when you had woken up, sleep still taking over. the previous night had been exhausting. i mean, a social event with a bunch of hormonal teens ought to be tiring. that was most definitely the only social event you would let riki convice you to go to with him.

just as you were about to slip out of the bed you and him had been sharing, the purring stopped. “ where are you going? stay here” ni-ki whined, slipping his arm around your waist before pulling you back into bed. you turned around to look at it, his soft cat like eyes staring right back into yours.

“ ramen for breakfast?” he asked calmly, letting the spoon return to its old position before he slipped his hands back onto your waist. you simple nodded, lifted your eyes that had trailed to something else in the room, back to jay. “ you don’t have to eat it. i can have it all by myself” you joked, poking at his chest before pulling out of his embrace.

“ no way, i can’t let my teeny tiny baby eat a whole pot of ramen by themselves!” he joked back, chuckling before lightly nudging you. giggling together, jay pulled you back into his chest while running one hand through your hair while the other gently worked at your shoulders.
