Just found out the butcher shop that opened up only earlier this year on my town’s Main Street (that I’ve only ever glanced at once) is named “Riley’s Meat Market.”

Finished my finals today! Or yesterday, I mean. Ever get that weird feeling when you’ve bonded with your classmates even if it’s a few and now you’re like “I’m never seeing these people again” because that happened with my photography class and now I’m kinda sad. We had projects and for most of them we’d see little snip-bits of their life and hearing them talk about their loved ones or what they love to do, or simply just what they took pictures of was something I didn’t realize would make me feel for them personally.

It was a small class of maybe 16 or so and I knew most everyone by name so it was very intimate. It was an introduction to photography but you could see people progressing throughout the semester and some saying they’re now into photography.

Kind of a weird rant to go on, I know, but I wrote down my classmate’s names in hopes maybe I’ll have future classes with them. I only have two semesters to go before I graduate but it’s sad to think simply that, “I’ll never see these people again. I’ll never sit in a room with them again. And I’ll never see little pictures of their live’s again and it won’t matter to anyone but me probably”.

Such a strange thing to get attached to.

what if reader/oc moved to Gotham but was so not on the internet or anything that she does not know the Wayne/Batfamily but somehow keeps running into them and their name. Just unknowingly keeps doing it and is from a small town so their just like man this city life be weird I swear I’ve seen that same guy like five allies ago or on the corner of this restaurant??

Idk I would just find it funny of them just not being phased in any of their presences of like not knowing Jason Todd’s lore or dick Grayson at all is just like “ah a normal cop *cough* acab” and is kind of just curious as to who Damian is. Strange kid.

Accidentally spills coffee on Bruce’s suit or something. Just somehow and their like oh my GOD buys him an “I survived Gotham” t-shirt (from one of those tourist trap vendors who seem to pack up and go after you buy something) and feels so bad. Starts to realize maybe they ran into someone well known in the city??? Because pictures of him wearing said shirt circulate the newspaper stands and local magazines for a week or two. Their co-workers are looking at them weird noticing their shadows following them sometimes.

Maybe they just overall are like Gotham is so quirky? Like homie would see the joker and be like ah yes they just have a clown here.

Just is oblivious and worried about nothing in the world Gotham
