Or men's tears. Why are these emotions labelled "unacceptable" in our society?

Women are expected to be these pretty dolls that only cry when they are under distress. (Not gonna lie. I did my fair share of crying because I feared being labelled as an "Angry Woman") They have to be constantly aware of how they look.. how they are perceived. They are taught to never raise their voice because they believed that it will only attract a lot of negative attention but men on the other hand were raised to be however they please.

I am personally jealous of men & their freedom to express their emotions (especially anger) without being afraid of judgement.

With passive aggression there will be long term problems like - resentment, hate, envy.. etc.

And personally I have little to no patience for drama that comes with passive aggression. I hope you all have no patience for this either.

Let's just be honest for once.. I personally love a woman / man who isn't afraid of expressing themselves (unfiltered).

The biggest problem with passive aggression is that.. not everyone will ever understand you / or your problem..

With a straightforward queen however... There is no chance of miscommunication.

Dear women... Please express your distress through anger or however you please. Because everyone has the right to be emotional.

Dear men.. Please feel free to cry when you are emotional. There is nothing wrong with shedding a tear or two when you are sad.

Fuck whatever the society has been force feeding us ever since we are young.

Please express yourself.. cause that's the easiest way to survive.

And somehow pop culture deliberately changed that narrative. Sexualised, bimbofied, and villainised her, when she actually isn’t responsible for the impossible beauty standards — people are, she’s just a stylised, not-to-scale toy like most others.

Men are frothing because he’s just Ken and I guess they were expecting her to be just Barbie, but that’s exactly what Ken is. Canonically. A badass woman’s himbo boyfriend.

This movie has the potential to change the way we collectively see Barbie radically into what Ruth Handler’s intended, I’m so very excited
