TES Summer Fest Day 7: Companion or Fallen - Why not both?

A commissioned piece of my LDB, Mansur, and Miraak. In one of her delusional yet vivid dreams, she finally was able to land a final kiss on the head of her dearest fallen enemy, before offering it as a sacrifice to her new master. Posting to @tes-summer-fest because I think it fits the theme of the day!

the post-college job search is actually the most soul draining thing ever. sure there are "tons of jobs", but none of them are entry-level or recent grad friendly. the most menial admin assistant job requires a cover letter - why? i sent applications in june that i never heard back from, except ONE, which emailed me yesterday for a rejection (3 months later). the general lack of transparency. horrible pay across the board. companies will take your application and then ghost you forever and you'll never have a whiff of a chance. i don't have a car either which is literally the worst position in america since we have 0 public transportation. and i don't have a lot of money to move anywhere, though i'd like to, but companies don't want to pay to relocate you no matter how qualified you are. boomers are right, i don't want to work, because i don't want to be in a soulless job that wears on my conscious every damn day. 🙂 employed people please help before i go insane

in NO world bc miraak absorbs her soul though my canon does end with tharya dying before him many hundreds of miles away and he absorbs her soul suddenly in the middle of a- meeting with the new high king but he tries to unalive tharya is now inside his mind and tells him instead to write down everything about their story everything he knows of history magic art language ANYTHING to let them have a lasting impact on the world so he becomes a hermit in the ice fields like septimus signus and writes madly for about a year and then as his ink dries he rips out his soul and flings it up to sovngarde in the hopes of reaching tharya and then they're together in their little corner of sovngarde because shor doesn't REALLY want miraak there but allows is anyway skyrim miraak x ldb miraak the first dragonborn miraak/ldb

well ulfric was Okay at first and perhaps even nice to her even tho tharya never aligned with his “skyrim is for the nords” ideology she felt he- -was the lesser evil. she does well for the stormcloaks and ulfric personally but for a lot of her time serving him he actually ends up being under some thalmor mind control sooooooo he ends up being super duper mean- -and aggressive towards her. eventually in sic parvis magna despite still calling herself stormhand and therefore ulfric's kin she decides- -she needs to kill him and does so. in his final moments he is free of the mind control and confused as to what's happening and why her blade is through his chest SO overall i think tharya holds a lot of guilt about ulfric. in no way was he perfect but at the end she realized that a lot of his aggro- -behavior was not entirely his own doing. she thinks maybe she could've changed his mind about some things if she had done better by him- -even if he was a racist bitch. she continues calling herself stormhand despite not being a huge fan of ulfric to keep that guilt- omnipresent in her mind. so she'll never forget how she believes she failed skyrim and failed ulfric. skyrim tes v skyrim tes v oc ldb tharya stormhand
