“The sprouts, the flowers, and bearing crop… it all takes time. You have to wait.
You must wait.
Wait.
You have to wait to taste the best food.”

apparently Perfect Blue (1997) film is based on the book Perfect Blue: Complete Metamorphosis (パーフェクトブルー:完全変態) by Yoshikazu Takeuchi and it's is supposed to be even more mind messing than the film.....

Every time I'm stuck on something and look back how I ended up getting there, I think to myself that I always stumble on the same kind of thing. Though I was sure that I covered ground, it only feels like I've been going around in circles and got back to where I started. Once I am back from where I started, I get depressed. But I've gained experience from all that. So whether I fail or succeed, there's no way I'm in the exact same place, is there? So I thought, then it's not a "circle" but it's a "spiral". Even if it appears that I'm going around in the same place, I definitly have to be moving a little bit up or down.
