the most fun thing about the event… hmmm that is a hard question, but I think it is just a HUGE mix of meeting people I look up to and admire their work ( artists and authors ) and getting to know them, PLUS I was able to work with my idols which is a big deal haha. I got to draw many great scenes and now I have a very beautiful community that I wouldn't have if I had taken a chance and signed up in the event 🙂‍↕️🩷🩷 ( I love you big bang group )

2. Okay so, Royai - it all started when my brother was nagging me to read Fma’s manga, but I was just wasn't pulled ( anime wasn't a thing that I liked ), so as a bonding activity, My brother and I started to watch brotherhood. RIGHT at their ( Royai’s ) first appearance I looked at my brother:

“ tell me they are married.”

“ no they aren't,”

“ dating?”

” 🤷🏻‍♂️”

After the Nina episode, I was just disgusted and didn't want to finish the anime, but he promised me that they would kiss at the end. So yeah haha throughout the whole thing, I just kept shipping them hard and my love grew over each episode 🩷

3. Favorite thing to draw? Honestly, the joy I had of just drawing these two over and over is one of my favorite things haha I loved coloring Riza’s hair and doing Roy’s eyes. Each piece had its favorite parts and difficulties The most challenging parts- I would just give a few hints.

Hands, lighting on some arts, RIZA’S LIPS. And a hug between two females ( I won't spoil. ) and just after taking so many projects, drawing became a challenge, I just literally handed the last project’s arts last Thursday 😭

This event has been a blessing, I can't even thank @royaibigbang for organizing this 💋

I sort of don't want to spoil it, but most of the fic is pretty serious or at least pensive, but at the end there's a scene where Olivier shows up and breaks the tension--for better and for worse--in a funny way, and that scene has been in my mind ever since I first started thinking about the premise of a fic set during training.

And then I answered the second question but I'm going to give another favorite line of mine from the fic since I haven't really posted any other snippets.

“I bought a car the other night,” Roy confessed, maybe just for a lack of anything else to say. He had this burning need to be talking to her, even if it was her scolding him.

This shocked Riza out of her feigned-focus. “Really?” She paused for a beat. “Sober?”

Roy laughed and Riza hurriedly shushed him, gesturing at the battlefield with the tip of her rifle. “Maybe not,” he said bashfully in response to her question, shrugging and scratching the back of his head. “But if you or anyone on the team ever needs to borrow it…”

This bit isn't anything profound--I just thought it was funny. I'd always wondered about Roy's car since it's not a very common mode of transport for everyone else. I also of course appreciate his desperate efforts to keep the conversation going.

Every time I see a BRILLIANT FIC or ARTWORK with just one or two reblogs I just get so frustrated thinking about all the great creations I have missed out on because people don't reblog things anymore.

And all the great writers and artists who threw in the towel out of frustration. What a loss to the fandom. Ugh.

I'm on Tumblr constantly and I know following blogs vigilantly doesn't guarantee we see every post from our faves. Tags and notifications constantly fail.

Reblogging = sharing. Reblogging is how we discover new content. It is SO important to Tumblr because we don't have subscription or bookmarking features like Ao3.
