I Think My Favorite Thing About The TCF Novel Is That Although Cale Is A Transmigrator He Didnt Go From

I think my favorite thing about the TCF novel is that although Cale is a transmigrator he didn’t go from regular person to super smart just because he transmigrated. In a lot of novels you’ll see transmigrators and regressors just suddenly becoming geniuses in everything they do. I like that the author created a back story of why Cale was as smart as he was. And, he had to go through a lot of trial and error and see a lot of things for his plans to work.

I don’t remember where it was in the book but I remember reading that in KRS’s early days at the company with LSH they got beat up after a mission gone wrong. I think the way LSH just laughs the whole ordeal off is just a way that alludes to how Cales plans back then didn’t always work. He had to work on the front lines for a long time before his plans became so intricate and easily switched and replaced for new ones as more obstacles are thrown at him.

Cale is naturally smart, yes, but things like that can only be achieved through experience and I’m glad the author gave Cale the experience before they gave Cale the ability.

Anyway this is just a little quark I saw in the book that I’d thought I’d share with the rest of the fandom.

WAIT A SEC?????? In trash of the counts family, isn’t it stated that giving up your ancient power kills the owner?? Then what about Alberu‘s mom???? Didn’t she give him her ancient power, ‘star of healing’ or something like that?

But it was also stated at the end of pt1 that she was killed by the hunters?? SO DID SHE KNOW SHE WAS BEING HUNTED BY THEM??? Just like Jour saw her son’s future??? WHAT??? Omg the lore and world building are clicking even deeper

NO I JUST REALIZED FOCALORS RESPONDED TO WHAT FURINA SAID WHEN SHE WAS TALKING TO NEUVILLETTE!

When talking with Neuvillette focalors says “and all along she’s been playing her part in the most unimaginably long, unbearably lonely, and agonizingly painful opera of all time.”

And Furina says in her part of it and when she is heard crying in the fountain of Lucine “so in terminal… So lonely… just how much longer…”

PLEASE THEY MATCH😭😭😭 unimaginably long > so interminal; unbearably lonely > so lonely; and agonizingly painful > just how much longer. The last one could be seen as a bit iffy, but Furina said that cus she was in pain and wanted it to end. I feel like it was already implied but this just proves how much Focalors watched over Furina and how much she heard. I couldn’t imagine how focalors felt when she realized she was forsaking Furina in such a terrible way.

I’d also like to think this is a reason why lsh/ sui khan wanted Cale to become a farmer. So he wouldn’t waste away in bed doing absolutely nothing besides getting up to use the bathroom. Also, the occasional walking 2 ft to a rocking chair….

I just realized that when cale is not saving the word or coughing up blood he stays in bed all the time. And it's a sign of depression

This person doesn’t seem that mysterious at first but istg if you look a bit deeper this man has to have some of the most confusing, hole ridden past.

And don’t even get me started on his own tragedy??? What do you mean you were extremely depressed and confused if you should continue to save people selflessly?? What do you mean you ended up dieing young?? Only to end up never being able to rest in piece despite all the running around you did while you were alive??
