And Then Theres Me, Who Played With My Furby, Had Fun With My Furby, And Eventually Grew Bored Once It

And then there’s me, who played with my Furby, had fun with my Furby, and eventually grew bored once it broke.

Like, of all things, this is what I had a normal experience with.

I had a furby as a kid and I blinded it using a laser pointer because I was scared it would watch me. But then it thought it was dark at all times so it would scream and say "help! It so dark!"
Reddit user 1: I had a furby that I loved dearly, one of the original ones from when it was a huge fad. One day I held it upside down and it said "wHoaAAA! me scared!" then immediately died and never worked again : (

Reddit user 2: Murderer
I had one from the 2010's which had multiple different
"personalities" depending on how you treated them, one of these personalities was an evil one which if memory serves correct it just sung "smoke on the water" in the furby language. My mom would call it
"darth vader mode" and it freaked the hell out of me caused i was scared of Darth Vader. I also couldn't figure out for the life of me how the emotion mechanic worked so the furby was stuck in darth vader mode for a while and when I did manage to turn it good again from my child POV the furby randomly turned evil. Later in my life when i was 15-16 i skinned the furby
My sister had an original in the early 2000's. It scared her so my parents put it in the basement. That night, it went fucking nuts babbling and unfortunately my parents left it too close to the vent and it echoed up into my room.
Fucking terrified me. My parents found me under my blankets screaming for the voices to stop.

It's so fucking funny how many people who owned Furbies as children ended up being traumatized by them in some way

See, this is the kind of biological speculation I come onto these interwebs to hear!

So Pikmin Dropped Seeds In 1 And 2 If They Were Mature Flowers In Battle. This Implies Theyre Capable

So pikmin dropped seeds in 1 and 2 if they were mature flowers in battle. This implies they’re capable of plant sexual reproduction via pollination. Otherwise the condition of being a flower wouldn’t matter and they’d drop seeds regardless of maturation level.

I don’t know if white and purple pikmin can do this since I never had them die in the over world for the seeds to be available next day, as seedlings weren’t ready to pick until the day after the battle in pikmin 1 at least.

Could be fun. Hybridization of pikmin types could be possible if this method were true. That or the the seeds would select whatever pikmin had a dominant gene over the other. I don’t know if an even mix of pikmin types would be possible.

For example, common types like the primary colored pikmin would always win out between cross pollination of rare types like the purples and whites. Seedlings would always be primary. Between rare types, I’m unsure of the outcome.

Speculation in the spirit of pikmin.

This is my favourite Ragapom/Buttonblossom post out there! The art is adorable, the characters are fitting, and the designs fit perfectly.

P.S As a super duper official cool writer guy let me assure you that the writing is perfectly good.

Today I feel like a Palea Steindachneri.

Do You Ever Feel Like A Wattle-necked Softshell Turtle (Palea Steindachneri)? You Are Not Alone. Found

Do you ever feel like a wattle-necked softshell turtle (Palea steindachneri)? You are not alone. Found in parts of Southeastern China and Vietnam, this rare reptile’s carapace, or shell, can grow up to 17 in (43.2 cm) long. It inhabits freshwater pools and feeds on fish, insects, and small invertebrates. Unfortunately, this species is critically endangered and is threatened due in part to habitat degradation and being hunted for the food trade.
