Love this song from Goo Goo Dolls. This album was so good, but I especially love this one. Johnny voice sounds great as always.  One thing I love about the Goo Goo Dolls is their amazing songwriting, and these lyrics don’t disappoint either.  All of their songs have at least one great lyric.

Loving Hollyn’s current single Love With Your Life! She has such a powerful and soulful voice, and it’s showcased perfectly here. I like that this song has a different style from her Hollyn EP. I also love how well she shows off her massive range in this song. Also love these lyrics and how she conveys them.

Super disappointed that the Grammy’s did not add Christina Grimmie into their tribute, so I thought I would do my own tribute. RIP Christina.  You are not forgotten. You are loved and missed by many.

LOVED this Katy Perry performance at the Grammy’s last night.  It was so different from Katy’s usual performances, but I think that’s what made it great.  This is a new Katy Perry that we’re getting, and I’m loving it!  She looked stunning, and delivered some strong political statements in a very smart and sophisticated way, paired with a song that is much more socially aware than it seems.  Also super cool for her to perform it with Skip Marley as well, the grandson of Bob Marley.  Super excited to see what Katy Perry will do next!

This song is a little older than the music I usually post on here, but it is still such a good song!  I know a lot of people don’t like Nickelback, but I love this song so much. I like the emotion Chad’s voice gives this song, coupled with these great lyrics.

Every word of this Switchfoot song rings true.  In the current climate of America, dominated by “fake news” and “alternative facts”, this song is more accurate than ever. Jon Foreman captures the spirit of the powers that be spinning the truth to benefit them, something we’re seeing a lot of right now. One great thing about this song is that it spans many genres, with rap-like verses mixing into their signature alt rock sound. With his amazing lyrics and great voice, this song is a must hear.
