Oh Wow, These 32 Frames REALLY Didnt Want To Render Properly. Gross.
Oh wow, these 32 frames REALLY didn’t want to render properly. Gross.
So here she is, Glitch Dendy! She took a couple of hours to model, a little under an hour to color, and about the same to rig (I did very minor weight painting, it was close enough to begin with). Her mouth can open and close, and if I so choose, I can move her pupils by dragging their polygons around. She doesn’t have any IK rigging, because I never figured out how to properly do it. :p
I really wanted to emulate the glitch style from “We Got Hacked,” which is why it’s so low poly. Her polygons break because of it, especially in her elbows, but that’s okay because I feel that it can lend to the creep factor I want if I’m careful about it. For this run test, I was not at all careful, obviously, seeing as I slapped it together in 15 or 20 minutes. I just wanted to be sure she could move (she can), and I wanted to check that the render settings were satisfactory. I used a sketch material in the hopes that the shadows would line up with the polygons, but I probably still need to tweak it.
Being only a few hours-worth of work, it definitely isn’t the best I can do, but it suits my purposes just fine. All in all, I’m happy with it.

Uh, to the anon who asked about P.K.O. and K.O.'s hair under their headbands, your ask disappeared on me before I could answer it. I'm still doing the drawing, but I'll have to do it as a separate post rather than an answer.
I hate to admit, but teasing T.K.O is kinda fun. (It's # anon from your ask blog btw)
Honestly, I'm having so much fun with it. People poke fun at T.K.O., everyone wants to be pals with P.K.O., and there is an honest effort from the community to improve K.O.'s spelling. XD It feels involved, and I am so happy.
Well, since LCD has been officially dethroned, I guess Boxman and Venomous will have to just invent them.
Future Episode Concept!
Since Boxmore has been so successful, Lord Cowboy Darrell decides it’s a good idea to expand upon the company and set up factories at other locations. He sends Raymond on his motorcycle (from the Lakewood Plaza Turbo game) to scout, and discovers a rogue group of robots in the Danger Zone. These robots are Rob, Jay, Gaston, and so on (also from the game), robots who were bought by Miss Quantum during the infomercial short, modified (for use in the game), and discarded when they were no longer needed. Darrell brings them in, and suddenly the Boxfam has a bunch of new siblings. Heck, give us Sara and Teagan while we’re on the subject.
Mr Gar probably has at least ten more backups for this one pair. I'm sure KO and TKO are in the clear
We've seen that dude remove his shades to reveal another pair, I think at least twice. He probably has infinity-shades, knowing this show.
