One of my favorite quirks of armored core is when you fight against a faction for one mission and then end up working for them the very next one.

Irredeamable global progress Devlog
With the end of September, i am reaching the 10th month of irredeamable development....okay technically it's been way longer but anything before last December I'd rather call "development of random, mish-mash of unfocused mechanics and assets that didn't go anywhere" Anyway let's ignore that whole messy part and say it's been 10 months. I've been making steady progress since, completing 3 of the 6 major areas, with the next 2 being pretty far in development. All the mid-bosses are done, as well as about half of the main baddies and most of the enemies. The writing has proven to be the hardest thing for me, with most of the game dialogue either needing significant rewrites or lacking writing entirely. Overall, my plans for the next few months are to get the main game content to a "finished state" Get the last few areas, enemies, and bosses done as well as a a passable draft of the story. Ill also need to review the plans and try to reduce the scope of what remains before getting started on the postgame. Im also planning to make montly/bimontly progress devlogs from now on. Theyll be pretty easy to do as i already keep a document of game-making progress for motivation.
The true masters of the monster hunter world
I have just come to the realization that Aptonoths may actually be one of the most successful species in the monster-hunter universe. Despite being hunted by almost every large monster, they still somehow thrive everywhere you find them. I don't know what they are doing, but it's definitely working.

Been working on a few more forgotten(undead) foes. This one is a variant of the berzeker.

Progress on the game has been slow but steady. Since i started working on the penultimate boss last night, here a sneak peek of it. To be frank the main reason im showing this one is that It's at such an early and unrecognizable state that it barely qualify as a spoiler.

Since the weapons are collected and upgraded from defeating recurring mini-bosses, i try to implement their quirks into the boss moveset whenever possible. In the case of this guy, from his second fight onward, he is able to vary how long he charges his shotgun depending on where the player is moving.
