It might be, but he's perfectly okay with her being selfish with him. His arms around her, he tilts his head with a smile. ❝ Mm, you want to spend the afternoon together? What about the evening? The night..? ❞ he teases slightly.

❝ I'd like that. ❞

Oh, there's no doubt about her wanting him all to herself. Is that selfish? Probably, but she couldn't give less of a damn. Kissing him again, she smiles against his mouth. "Good, so that's settled." She chuckles. "Now. . . I want your afternoon. We should do something together."

He can sit and say he isn't a jealous guy, but truth be told he can certainly feel it from time to time -- and this was one of those times he was feeling it. It's not insecurity ( at least he wouldn't admit it as such ) but if someone is with Rafe, they're with Rafe. And that means hands off, do not touch. Do not pass go, do not collect two hundred dollars. So hearing about this guy, even seeing it with his own two eyes...

When it comes to my portrayal, I imagine Rafe's mother a certain kind of way.

I imagine her a kook, yes, but a free spirit. Loving, caring, affectionate and just full of life. Always there to help, lend a hand to anyone in need and always being the best she can be. Knowing she had money didn't make her better than anyone else. She would use her means to help where it was necessary. Charity, volunteering, she'd do those things because community is important.

When she got pregnant with Rafe, her reaction was full enthusiasm that she'd yell it in the streets after she found out. Finding out it was a boy she was having made silly little bracelets that were all the rage in the early 2000's to give out. She wasn't your typical kook woman, and Rafe adored her. She adored Rafe. Don't get her wrong she loved her daughters, too. But Rafe being her only boy, her little man. She often encouraged him to show emotions even if Ward said he shouldn't. She probably gave Ward a lot of hell, too, when he showed favoritism.

The FC I've chosen for her is Jennifer Connally. But clearly she's an NPC because...dead.
