Here because Twitter is going down. Kind of a politico 🤷‍♂️ Measure 110’s strongest soldier, don’t care how many people think I’m crazy, I will not back down from my stance that drug possession should not land you in jail. Mostly photography, politics, geography, etc.

I’m really hoping Maduro doesn’t invade Guyana. Let’s hope he sees getting oil on the global market and getting better relations with the nearest superpower as more important.

My ideal government is one where the two main coalitions are left wing social democrats/democratic socialists and center to center left social liberals. The further left and center right are both small and the far right is nonexistent

Omidyar is funding Project 2025 and then I realized he’s the one who financed The Intercept. Might explain why The Intercept hasn’t covered it… They have lost all credibility now. I thought they had cleared house when Greenwald left, but the problem there is bigger than Greenwald. I just hope Klippenstein can get out of there and maybe take his talents somewhere else.

I would absolutely support letting Venezuela get CITGO back and letting them sell oil to the US in exchange for them recognizing Guyana’s territorial integrity. But that would require officially declaring that we think avoiding war is more important than appeasing single issue anti-“socialism” voters in Florida. And hey, get gas prices down and counter the Saudis. If we can get Venezuela to agree to a free and fair, internationally monitored election while also getting them to reverse chauvinistic claims over Guyana’s territory, and also get gas prices down and counter the influence of the House of Saud, win-win-win. Biden just needs to recognize that there are far more single issue gas price voters and that avoiding war in our hemisphere appeals to far more voters all across the country than single issue anti-“socialism” voters mostly in Florida exclusively.
