『 GANYU 』 Listens so intently as if she has all the time in the world. She constantly keeps her eyes on you whilst writing out the work she was intented to do. Nevertheless she will not take her eyes off of you until you've finished. Even then she gleefully awaits the next topic of discussion. She'll occasionally comment but mostly just likes to listen.

『 KEQING 』 Doesn't look at you when you talk, as the Yuheng she's always working herself to the point of exhaustion, she's awfully quiet but she is listening. A voice in her head is wondering if you feel a sense of disinterest radiating off of her, that'd explain why you stopped talking about your recent commission you'd completed. She loves hearing about your day, so she speaks up rather quickly to clear any misunderstanding.

❝I'm listening still, so what did you do next? How did you escape that situation?❞

『 NINGGUANG 』 Ningguang is another busy person with much to do, however she understands the importance of spending moments with a loved one. And so, she invites you to her office so she can hear about your week. She finds it rather easy to talk, listen, and work so she's quick to comment a lot.

❝Expertly thought out strategy! I'd expect nothing less.❞

『 BEIDOU 』 All of her attention is on you, even her bottle of rum is long forgotten as she peers closer to hear your tale. Her eyes sparkle with intense wonder. No one can distract her when she's in this state, it's almost as though she's hypnotized. She's the type to nod along with what you're saying and gleam a large grin at the end of your story.

❝Haha! If you're willing to trade tactics we could both learn a thing or two.❞

『 HU TAO 』 She's the type to constantly comment. "No way!" "Really?" "And then what?" Are usually the comments that leave her mouth. Despite the repetition her eyes never leave yours until you've finished talking, you might think that she doesn't care and just says the same thing so you'll be satisfied, however that's far from the truth, and she will make that apparent.

❝Say.. do you remember where you annihilated that treasure horder? No reason!❞

『 YANFEI 』 Likes to speed through her day whilst talking with you, she'll link pinkies with you to let you know that she's still listening despite not looking at you. Sometimes she'll trail off and lose focus of what you're saying, she doesn't mean to but she also has a lot on her plate at all times.

❝Hm? Oh yes I'm still with you! .. but could you repeat that last part?❞

『 XINYAN 』 Is definitely the type to nod along at each word you're saying. She wants to make you feel heard no matter what. She'll probably play with the strings of her guitar, cup her face, and maybe even sway as she's listening to you. With you she's never bored, she always finds everything you say so interesting.

『 XIANGLING 』 Xiangling likes to clean up Wanmin whilst hearing you ramble, bonus points if she can feed you between talking. She likes to fidget with your hands whilst you talk about your day, it never fails to bring a smile to her face. At some intervals you may notice her suddenly lose attention, don't worry she tends to get sidetracked a bit more than she'd like to admit.

❝Ah sorry! I was just wondering if you'd like some dinner?❞

| Giyuu |

— • Giyuu is a master at masking his emotions behind a nonchalant expression, it'd honestly take you a long time to notice that something isn't right. You'd tell him that you're there for him whenever and although he'd appreciate your efforts you know in yourself that he's still reluctant to express his concerns and let you comfort him. 

The first time you ever comforted him was during a rather sunny day, wind waded through trees and left them dancing, the sun kissed at your skin for today was a day of warmth and peace but you found yourself not being able to relax no matter how much times you flipped your cushions over to the colder side. 

"Damned things," You grumbled as you felt your once brewing sense of comfort subside. Maybe if you got back in the same position the comfort would return?

"I'm back." You felt a chill rundown your spine like a rain drop pouring down a leaf as the monotone voice of Giyuu cajoled you. "Welcome back Giyuu! How was your day?"

"I'd rather not talk about it." His tone held a sense of secrecy as he made his way to his bedroom. Something was off. Giyuu liked to keep to himself but the urgency in the way he moved and the slight waver in his voice, as if he'd developed a stutter, had you concerned.

"Giyuu?" You knock on his door, "what's happened?" You're left standing there for a good while until Giyuu finally slides his door open, his eyes not meeting yours, but you can tell he's in need of you when he softly grabs your hand.

"Giyuu, what's wrong?" There was a brief silence. Until-

"I failed to save a friend today.. I don't know what to do." He gently pulls you towards him in a hug you find yourself stuck in. Your hand makes its way to his hair and strokes it.

"Everything will be okay." You muttered as you began to sway back and forth, easing him into peace, 

"I promise."

| Shinobu | 

— • Similarly to Giyuu, Shinobu can mask her face rather well behind a plastic smile. Her emotions however, seep through her like an unwanted aroma Tanjiro thinks. However others tend to compare it to a soft shore suddenly being hit with a tsunami and no, Shinobu does not appreciate the comparison, in fact she abhores it. When something isn't right you can sense it and it annoys Shinobu to no end, she doesn't want you to see her vulnerable, she finds shame in it no matter how much you've consoled her in the past.

"Something on your mind?" You sipped your drink whilst keeping your eyes on Shinobu's tired form, to you she appears as though she's been overworked to the bone which isn't an uncommon sight for you unfortunately. You poured her a cup of tea whilst she wiped her face with a damp cloth.

"It's nothing really, just work—"

"Shinobu, I heard about Rengoku's passing." She stiffened, the damp cloth falling from her face, her eyes covered by her bangs and the only visible thing on her face is her small, fragile smile.

"Yes. Quite unfortunate.. he was a good man. A kind man." Her smile was gone as soon as you grabbed her so delicately that she immediately hugged into your side. Her fingers curled into your robe as if she's afraid of letting go.

"It's terrifying you know?" She breathed in, weary of being loud. "I see the pained expressions of people who've lost others and I can't help but feel small."

"It's not your fault Shinobu." You massaged her scalp as she embraced her face to the crook of your neck. She continued, you didn't know if she'd heard you.

"I realize that I'm truly hopeless.. I can't help the people like me. But you, you always help me when I need it most." She removed herself from your touch to meet your eyes finally, hers are drowned in a deep purple.

"So I'll ask you this, as shameful as it sounds.. won't you hold me just a little harder Darling?"

| Mitsuri |

— • Mitsuri Kanroji is a woman that believes in being completely open to you about how she's feeling, she's a very emotional person and is not ashamed about it at all. She carries her heart on her sleeve and loves to carry a passionate and kind disposition wherever she strides. But at times in where she needs to vent she ALWAYS makes sure you're okay with hearing her ramble and asks how you are beforehand. Because truly she wants to make sure you're mentally okay with whatever she wants to talk about at all times.

​​​​​​​​​​You heard a knock at the door of your shared bedroom, knowing very well it was Mitsuri who was behind it.

"Mitsuri you know that you don't have to knock." You heard a slight snicker as the door slowly slid open. You paused upon the sight of her droopy eyes and weak smile. You attempted to get up but she waved you to stop and stay comfortable. 

"Sorry!" She hushed herself. "Did I wake you?"

"No no! It's fine! Is everything okay?" You chuckled as Mitsuri plopped onto the end of the bed and hugged your legs. She let out a tired groan as you played with her hair.

"Uhm.. are you okay with me talking about uhm- sad stuff? I don't want to stress you if you're not up for it-" you grasped her hand, a reassuring smile graced your lips. "Of course, thank you for asking. What's happened?"

"Well I I- messed up big time." Mitsuri smiled as tears trailed down her cheeks she crawled up and hugged into your chest. "Kyojuro passed away and it hurts! I should have have- gone with him!"

"Mitsuri.. you can't blame yourself for something that happened so suddenly, Rengoku wouldn't want you to blame yourself." You kissed her forehead and wiped her tears, albeit that wasn't enough as more began pouring down. You're left in a silence as Mitsuri tried to collect as much of herself as she could.

"..I was his student y'know, I learned everything from him." She choked on her sobs and stuttered again and again,

"I do my best but now I'm wondering if that's even enough.. baby I'm in so much pain." She clutched at her heart as she pressed her forehead to yours. You were at a loss for words and she knew that, Mitsuri didn't want to overwhelm you. She leaned in and kissed you slow, your shoulders relaxing with hers.

"I'm so sorry for your loss-"

"You don't have to say anything, please just be with me in this moment."

《Giyuu Tomioka》

Firm and unyielding! He will not let go until you've fallen asleep with him. He doesn't talk much but if you ask him anything he will reply with a hum, or a nod.

He prefers to be the big spoon through and through, it'll take some asking if you want to take over. He sleeps better if he's the big spoon because he knows you're safe in his arms.

He'll rest at your side, his arms enveloping you with warmth and protection.

"Can we stay like this? Just a bit longer.."

《Obanai Iguro》

He is very private, but on the off chance you get to cuddle he'll allow his snake, Kaburamaru to wrap around your neck as he snakes his arms around your waist. Pun intended.

He doesn't talk... it just doesn't happen.

Is okay with being a big spoon but prefers if you are. He's fine with both and isn't picky. But just so you know, if you're the big spoon he'll melt.

He likes it when you wrap you arms around him and allow Kaburamaru to lay on top. He'll never admit it though.

"Six more hours..... please?"

《Tengen Uzui》

If you're the one feeling cuddly, he'll have you the closest to him. With his other wives joining in lovingly. If you're not the closest then these girls will smother you so much! 

They'll cuddle you so much and whisper sweet nothings to the point in where you'll end up with cavities.

Sandwiched. You will ALWAYS be sandwiched between them. There's no big spoon for you. You will ALWAYS be a little spoon. (That is- if you're not on top of any of them)

You talk with the others whilst Tengen is already asleep, laughing and talking with each other until you finally fall asleep as well. You feel complete bliss.

He doesn't sleep on his side and keeps his arms out. You usually lie on top of him and also have your arms splayed out so the others can at least feel your embrace.

"Who keeps moving so much? .. Gah!"

《Kyojuro Rengoku》

He has a tight and warm grip on you always! He's always up for cuddling unless he has business to attend to. He'll always hold you as if it's the last time he ever will...

He'll always be the big spoon, no questions or protests, he will always! Only on a rare chance will you be able to be a big spoon!

He always asks you about your day even if you did nothing he will still listen intently. All the stories he has reduces you to a worried mess that one day he won't return to you. But with the same smile you love, he will reassure you he will be by your side until the end.

"I will love you always! So don't worry and simply live in the moment!"

《Shinobu Kocho》

I mean... unless you're shorter than her.... you're going to be the one holding her all the time. She isn't very clingy and will give you space usually. But if you're cuddly, she'll have her haori act as a blanket and dig her face at the crook of your neck.

You'll lay your head on top of hers and the gesture will actually make her melt.

Since you're her lover, her worry will ALWAYS show, she can't get a good nights sleep if she doesn't know how you're doing. She wants to know everything, what you're doing, what you've been eating, if you've been healthy, if you're hurt. If you are hurt, she WILL force you to stay in bed as she tends to you. You'll also get a good 30 minute lecture as well as yucky medicine to top it off.

"I love you so much but if you come to bed with wounds and don't tell me, demons will be the least of your worries!"

《Mitsuri Kanroji》

Tight, protective and clingy! Mitsuri loves being the little spoon and will always ask if you're okay with it. Cuddles are an everyday thing that she always relishes! It actually makes her work much harder and faster knowing that she'll get to cuddle you at the end of the day.

She'll want to know about your day and how you're doing. Haven't been eating? She'll prepare an entire feast the very next day. Injured? She will beg Shinobu to bring you back to top notch health!

She loves lying face to face with you. She'll always be sure to stay awake so she can see you sleep. Occasionally she'll give you the softest kisses and whisper sweet nothings, but also making sure she doesn't wake you.

"I love you so much, you don't understand.."

《Sanemi Shinazugawa》

Sanemi will always hold you protectively. Just saying.. you will NEVER be able to big spoon Sanemi. No matter how tall, no matter how big! He'll hold you always.

He is very prideful, and if you're able to cuddle with this man, cherish it. Keep it. Because you have a 2 out of 10 chance of being able to cuddle with him.

He doesn't talk through it at all. He simply wants to sleep because his body needs it. If you talk all you will get is a groan of annoyance and a shush.

He'll have you resting on his chest as his arms lay at the small of your back. If you kiss his scars at all, you just might get the smallest of smiles out of him.

"I need sleep... stop moving around so much."

This isn't a post but more of a lil thing I've noticed in a lot of Genshin fics.

"Y/N's cheeks turned/blushed red." And any other variation of that sentence shows you that when the author wrote their fic they had a light skinned Y/N in mind. Now I'm not saying that if you're coloured your cheeks can't go red, but for a lot of us POC that doesn't happen.

This isn't by any means a rant I just find it real funny when I read sentences like that because I know my ass does not blush red 💀
