"Does anyone know the story of The Three Little Pigs?"
— Mother, Raised By Wolves

"I think I've seen this film before And I didn't like the ending You're not my homeland anymore So what am I defending now? You were my town, now I'm in exile, seeing you out I think I've seen this film before..."
— "Exile", Taylor Swift + Bon Iver

Raised By Wolves (2020) S01E05 — I N F E C T E D M E M O R Y

"Our fortunes built this train, and Mr. Wilford is losing control."
— Lilah Folger, Sr. • S01E03 "Access Is Power"
"Shook His hand a few times before we boarded, but the Engine's bio-secure now. He speaks through Melanie."
— Lead Brakeman Roche • S01E03 "Access Is Power"
"I believe some folks on this train forget just how generous and wonderful a man Mr. Wilford actually is. Not me. I could never forget. It's Wilford who runs our Sacred Engine. It's Wilford who has His finger on our pulse, who knows exactly what we need: how much food and water, how much heat and space, how much discipline. It's Wilford who saved us from the Bitter Cold. He's the only reason we're alive. Yet somehow, on this train we all call home, there are passengers who see fit to challenge Him; passengers who think they know better, passengers who take for granted this great miracle that He's given us. One day, I know I'll see Mr. Wilford again. And when I do, I will thank Him from the bottom of my heart for everything that He's done. For me. For all of us. These are His revolutions, one thousand and one cars long."
— Ruth Wardell • S01E08 "These Are His Revolutions"
"Wilford wasn't who you thought He was, Ruth. He was a fraud... I built this train, Ruth. I put everything I had into it. Everything. And Wilford sold tickets! He didn't believe it was possible to save humankind, and He was never even going to try. He was going to waste it! All He wanted was to live as well as He could, for as long as He could, surrounded by accolades and booze and whores in the Night Car. We wouldn't have made it one revolution. So I took Snowpiercer, and I left Him trackside to die."
— Melanie Cavill • S01E08 "These Are His Revolutions"
"Snowpiercer, no matter who is on the other side of that door, remember this: Wilford was only ever a man. Do not build Him up in your minds into something He isn't. He is not your engineer. This is not His train. Snowpiercer is ours! She belongs to her citizens!"
— Andre Layton • S01E10 "994 Cars Long"
"Mr. Wilford has already seized control of your Engine. You have about thirteen minutes to agree to a peaceful surrender before the Cold overcomes and you all freeze to death."
— Alexandra Cavill • S01E10 "994 Cars Long"
"Good evening, passengers. As you well know, I'm not one for speeches, but we've been through a bumpy patch. So, I want to say this to you: if the track has taught me anything, it's that even the steepest climbs give way to descent. I'll keep doing what I do best. I will keep our Engine Eternal. And you keep doing what you do best: survive, survive, survive."
— Mr. Wilford • S01E03 "Access Is Power"
"I'm back, and I've come to take what's mine."
— Mr. Wilford • Season 02 Teaser Trailer

Men are expected to be very strong creatures who shouldn’t cry; who are expected to just “man up” and deal with whatever comes their way. However, crying is a healthy and necessary thing for all people — including men. Crying can help to release stress hormones and toxins from the body and aid in soothing certain emotions. So many associate crying with pain or hurt, and sometimes crying is not to show those emotions at all but to show sincerity and honesty.
