One time the league got captured by enemy aliens, they took his hearing aids thinking it where comms, they did not speak english, or any language known on earth. Bruce didnt know what was going on, he couldnt read their lips. He got the gist of it but didnt really care.

He knows sign language in 6 different languages

The first time he saw Zantanna cast a spell he was confused tm (not wearing aids)

He and Cass have so many inside jokes
