Gemsona Colour Palette help
I had a bit of trouble trying to get a good colour palette for my Gemsona and fusions but I came up with this thing and maybe it’ll help someone? Maybe some people already know about this method…but anyway, it was a great help to me because I really struggle with coming up with good colour palettes
So find an image of the gem you want to use and open up Photoshop (I have CS6). I’m gonna use (Raw) Tanzanite.

Go to Fliters > Pixelate > Crystallize (hah)

This window will pop up.

Drag the Cell Size along untill you get a nice varied palette and click OK when you’re happy.

And there you go! A palette of colours to use for your gemsonas and their fusions!

And here are a few more examples. Images taken from Google.

idk maybe it’ll help someone. it helped me a whole bunch.

TEETH | BLOOD | DROOL
As promised, you fine freaks, here are some tutorials for how I draw teeth, blood and drool. My three favourite things to draw. 。◕ ‿ ◕。
I hope that someone finds this helpful(I’ve written these thinking that those reading know a bit of basic photoshop), but if you have any questions then I’ll do my best to answer of course.

self portrait. I wanted an avatar/icon that was me. and preferrably not Snake. Not that I dislike Snake.
Do you have any advice for someone who wants to get good at drawing? How did you get your own unique style?
I say, make friends with other artists, and find the drive to improve more as they improve in turn. Find artists you can look up to as a goal (whether dead or alive) learn from them. Read books and interesting stories and find inspiration in them.
