It was really random.

One minute I was walking quickly to get home as soon as I could, and the next I bumped into some dude with a face mask in hiding more than half of his face.

Also, to my dismay, I spilled a little coffee on him. Not that much but it still left a small wet mark on his shirt.

“Shit. I’m so sorry sir” I said panicking.

This man could be a weirdo. He could randomly yell at me. Or ask me to pay for his shirt. Or… Fuck it’s always me that deals with shit like this…

“Nah it’s fi- wait a minute do I know you or something?” He said and pulled down his face mask.

I dared to look at his face and the sight took my breath away.

“Holy shit! Hoseokie is it you??” My childhood friend, that I had lost contact years ago, was right in front of my face.

“(Y/n)!” He pulled me in a big hug. “I missed you so fucking much” He was still so loud.

“We lost contact so many years ago” I frowned.

“Yeah I had such hectic schedule after my debut. I’m so sorry hun” he frowned back.

Back then we were inseparable. He was my best friend. He was there for me when I had a hard time and I was there for him when his girlfriend dumped him for another guy (It’s a true story though).

“Do you have anywhere to be?” He asked.

“Um… no I was just heading home.” I replied. I got a big smile in return.

“Awesome. Would you like to spend some time with me? I’m free.” He was hopeful (they don’t call him j-hope for nothing).

“Sure. That is a great idea” I was excited.

We sat down in a small coffee shop, really close to my house. 

“We have to make time to meet. Now that I saw you after all these years, I can’t just let you go again” Hoseok took a sip from his coffee. 

“Totally right.” I replied, too busy munching on my sandwich.

We sat there for hours. We had finished our things and ordered again around 3 times. It was ridiculous how many things we had to say. 

There was never an awkward moment. Just like the old times.

I, finally, decided it was time to leave. He insisted to pay for my things too and I insisted he didn’t but he pulled the “i’m a millionaire now. I can buy the store if I want” card and didn’t let me say anything else after that.

We walked around a bit again. Still talking about the things that happened during all those years that we didn’t have the chance to talk. 

He offered to bring me home. We both still had time. I didn’t have work tomorrow and he had a free week, before going back to preparing for their comeback. 

I invited him over, thanking the gods that I had tidied up the place. We chilled and he texted his friends to explain why he was out for that long, because they were worried. 

After we said pretty much everything that happened all this time. He got up and put his jacket on. 

When he was ready to leave, he pulled me in a hug again and pulled away slowly. 

His eyes met mine. We were only inches apart. He slowly leaned in and so did I.

Our lips met and we both just stood still. Now that’s what I call awkward.

My brain had a hard time realizing what I was doing. I WAS KISSING MY CHILDHOOD FRIEND!

But it felt as if I wanted to do this for so long.

I placed my hand on the nape of his neck, deepening the kiss. His arms wrapped around my waist pulling me closer.

Our lips moved slowly against each other’s. After a few seconds we pulled away to catch our breaths ad he leaned his forehead against mine, smiling and nuzzling my nose with his. 

“It feels as if I wanted to do this since forever” He breathed out.

“Yeah, me too” I trailed off. 

“Um… Could you, you know, give me your phone number, so I could see you again?” He wasn’t as confident as he seemed a few hours ago.

“Of course” I giggled and gave his lips a small peck.

Being an undercover police fairy is hard. Also having the nickname “La flying fairy” is ridiculous. But we have to find a way to hide my actual name (y/n) (y/l/n).

This time I have to pretend to be a high schooler. Yeah awful. I hated high school too.

We were informed that a demon fairy was undercover too and I had to be sent there to find out who he or she is. Because I’m short and I look young. Well isn’t that stupid?

It’s already hella hard for me to talk to people. Now I have to be as quick as possible and to find out who that person is.

My first days where hard. I had to introduce myself to a lot of people. I had to make sure not to give away my actual name so I used a fake name “Eun Seoyeon”.

In order to find that person I had to find suspicious looking ones and then stalk them.

After two months I was disappointed and ready to quit. I had stalked around 10 people and was running out of suspicious faces. Actually I only had one left. But he seemed just shy. Just a loner. So I guess I should just quit this Jungkook. He is only working out and shying away from girls coming his way. He ain’t planning anything.

“Jin? Hello! Yeah… There’s only one person I think would be the person we’re looking for. I’ll quit this one and go for Min Yoongi. Is that okay?”

“Yes (y/n). Let’s pray he’s the one. Because boss isn’t that happy…” He trailed off.

I stood there. Looking at him run.

*Flashback*

“I’m sure. I know it” Jin was extremely happy. He had just found his soulmate.

“My shoulder went numb. I swear. It was… wow… this experience. I want to feel this again” He rambled.

“Relax Jin, it ain’t that-”

“IT IS! Sorry… You won’t understand until this happens to you.” He yelled but continued with a calm voice.

“We’ll see…” I sighed and trailed off.

Avoiding Yoongi is hard. But he’s my last chance. I should think professionally. I should follow him around and try to stay hidden.

But what I have yet to realize is how does he know my actual name? He clearly said (y/n). Which would make sense if he was the demon fairy undercover.

And there he is. In his room. I can see him through his window. He is just sitting on his computer. He doesn’t do anything suspicious yet. Wait! He is calling someone. He seems a little stressed.

*Yoongi’s P.O.V*

“Joon, I need help.”

“You got caught?” Namjoon was surprised to receive a call so late so this was obviously what he would think.

“Well, I’m a suspect. But there’s a way out of it.” I said. I know it’s wrong to use my soulmate but this will make us close. If I end up in jail, I’ll never be with her and I’m sure she doesn’t want this to happen as much as I don’t either.

After explaining the whole story to Joon, he sounded surprisingly calm.

“Wow, small world huh?” He said with a chuckle.

“What do you mean? I’m panicking Joon. How the fuck are you so calm?” I yelled at him and felt bad for it but really how does he do it? Always so calm.

“Well you know about my soulmate who’s also working as an undercover right?”

“Yes but what if he’s on bad terms with (y/n) and doesn’t want to help?”

“Well Yoongi, that’s why I said that it’s a small world. Jin has been telling me about a childhood friend (y/n) all this time. So I think it’s going to work.” Namjoon said and I could hear his smile through the phone.

“That’s why you were so calm…” What a relief.

*Your P.O.V.*

“Yoongi we need to talk” I spoke calmly.

“Yeah. We can go to my room? I have a friend over-”

“I have a friend over too.” I cut him off.

“We can…”

“Yeah” I replied awkwardly.

I got Jin and took him to Yoongi’s room.

“It’s really nice to see you again (y/n)” Namjoon said and hugged me.

“Yeah… It’s been a while” I replied.

“Let’s figure this out a bit yeah?” Jin said and sat down next to Namjoon leaving me sitting awkwardly next to Yoongi.

“You guys are soulmates” Jin stated calmly and we blushed.

“And you’re supposed to arrest him, and you are supposed not to let her do that.” Namjoon continued.

“So this has to happen the exact way it happened with us” Jin smiled at the thought.

“That’s exactly what I was thinking Jinnie” Namjoon said smiling at his soulmate.

“Which means?” Both I and Yoongi said.

“You’ll have stop doing this undercover thing. You’ll either have to stop being a cop, which I know will be hard for you, or you’ll have to arrest him and I’ll be his lawyer, which is something I’ve been prepared to do. So I suggest the second option” Namjoon explained.

“I guess so too…” I trailed off.

“Let’s do this tomorrow. And when he get to demand a lawyer, Joonie will appear.” Jin finished.

And that’s exactly how it happened. Joon is known to be a hella good lawyer. So Yoongi is now free.

And we both just have to work on our relationship now.
