Summary: Jin is gifted with a voice that can control people. He doesn’t want to use it, but he has to when he decides it's time to save his country.

~~~~~~~
Jin was a gifted child. No one knew how this happened. But when he would sing, he could make people his dolls, making them do whatever he wanted.
He was just a boy that liked music. A song was stuck in his head. He was quietly singing “run run run” and saw his friend who had come over, run face first into a wall. He laughed it off but panicked when his friend told him that it felt as if he was possessed.
They decided to try it on animals. It worked. And that’s how Jin became known amongst the Kingdom.
The king, decided that in order to take over a neighboring kingdom, ‘Hope’, ‘Namkanda’ needed to use Jin’s power. (A/N sorry had to)
Jin felt extremely offended by the king’s behavior, though.
“This could help our Kingdom. The war would be over. You are just selfish and do not want to share your power.”
Jin was really generous. He was known for it way before everyone learned about his power so being accused of acting selfishly got him upset.
He left without giving an answer to the king.
Jin went to the forest. He wanted to calm down. He knew he was capable of saying awful things when he was upset so he tried to avoid it as much as he could.
He sat down after walking for more than two hours.
He looked at the sky. It would soon start to get dark. He didn’t know how far he was. He heard leaves being stepped on behind him.
He wasn’t afraid as he could use his power to protect himself.
A girl approached him.
“Hi! Are you hungry? Do you have a home?” She asked.
“Of course, stop acting like you don’t know me” He snapped but quickly apologized.
“I’m sorry, am I supposed to know you? Aren’t you a traveler from kingdom ‘Namkanda’?” She asked.
“eh? Where am I?” Jin asked confused.
“In kingdom ‘Namkanda’, duh” The girl replied.
Jin sighed.
“What’s wrong? Are you lost?” The girl asked.
“No… Well yes, if you consider I didn’t know I left my kingdom and came here.” Jin replied.
“You come from kingdom ‘Hope’? Oh my god, I shouldn’t, um yeah” The girl started taking small steps back.
“No don’t leave. I’m… I need help to go back. Please” Jin said. He didn’t want to use his power on her.
“I’m Jin, Kim Seokjin” he said in a small voice
“I’m (y/n)” The girl replied.
“I need your help. I was upset and went for a walk but ended up here. I have to go back” Jin panicked.
“Why were you upset? Are you better now?” The girl asked.
“Yes I think, can you help me? Or get someone to do it, if you’re afraid?” Jin hoped she could help him go back.
“Um yes of course, I was kicked out from my parents, so I’m sure they won’t worry about me” She whispered the last part.
“Oh my god what?” Jin asked.
“You weren’t supposed to hear that” the girl whispered
“Please tell me. You can trust me. Here, I promise I’ll tell you” he said and took his pinky out
“Okay” she giggled and wrapped her smaller pinky around his.
Jin grinned at the melodic sound she let out.
“My parents found out I liked walking here, the borders of the two kingdoms, and someone told them that one day I reached the side of your kingdom and they got upset as this could be spread and my whole family could be killed. They kicked me out acting as if they didn’t know me. And here I am. Wandering around here again. I’m trying to make something to sleep. Like a tent thing with some blankets that I took, but it’s really hard...” she said and looked up at the sky then sighed.
“It’s the most stupid thing ever. I don’t blame myself. I know I made a small mistake. They should have forgiven me... But now that I think about it, they weren’t my real parents. So why would they truly care?” The girl looked mad.
“What about you, Jin?” She asked after a moment.
“Well, promise you won’t get creeped out?” He asked. Could he trust a random stranger? She could be someone sent from ‘Hope’ kingdom. A spy or something. But she didn’t look like it. Jin felt so comfortable around her already that just wanted to tell her everything.
And that’s what he did. He explained everything.
Luckily the girl wasn’t afraid at all. She thought it was cool they spent the while night playing with small animals they saw. Until sleep took the best of them and they woke up several hours later, wrapped in each other’s arms.
Jin was the first to wake up. He wondered how they were alive still, in the forest. But he knew they were close to his house. How did they end up Here?
(Y/n) woke up only a few minutes later.
She looked around and when she realized what had happened she jump and started to apologize.
“Shit I’m sorry I was supposed to take you home” she panicked.
“We’re really close to my house either way, don’t apologize. He tried to calm her down.
“Wouldn’t your parents be worried or something?” She asked still panicking.
“My parents left me when they found out my power. They said they were afraid and that I was a demon child…” Jin said quietly.
“So that means I live alone. But I could offer you to live with me until you can stand on your own feet” Jin wondered if his offer would make her scared but she just smiled.
“Wow you’re really sweet. You just met me, trusted me and told me your secrets and offered to help me. The world doesn’t deserve you” She said her thoughts out loud and her eyes widened after that.
“Oh shit sor-“
“I’ll take that as a yes. Come with me” he cut her off and took her small hand in his and pulled her towards his house. Luckily he had an extra room where she could stay.
He though faced a big problem.
Papers with his portrait and big letters spelling “WANTED” where spread all around his village. Probably the whole kingdom if that many reached this small place.
“Oh no... What do we do?” (Y/n) asked.
“Okay before doing anything, do you promise me we’re gonna help each other through anything? I trust you and need you to trust me too” Jin said and took out his pinky again.
“Yes Jin like the three musketeers but we’re only two... All for one and one for all” She said and linked her pinky to his.
“We’re going to take over both kingdoms” Jin simply stated.
“What? How?” She was really confused.
“I’m going to have to use my power” Jin looked down expecting her to yell at him. But he was faced with silence.
“Please don’t hurt anyone. Just make them listen to you.” She whispered. She was now afraid that he was going to use it against her too.
“No of course no! I’m just going to take the kings’ thrones, connect the two kingdoms into one and have you and I rule them” Jin smiled at her scared small figure.
“I’ll rule too?” She asked in a small voice.
“Of course” Jin said and smiled
“Okay” she breathed out and Jin hugged her.
“Don’t worry. We’re gonna make it.” He whispered in her ear and she shivered.
This wasn’t easy but they actually managed to make it.
Jin became the king for obvious reasons.
But he never said what would happen to (y/n).
He approached her slowly and looked straight into her eyes.
“(Y/n)... I’d like to offer you a big and important role for this kingdom. I would like to ask you to be my queen.” he said calmly.
(Y/n) didn’t know what to say. So Jin continued.
“I knew I could trust you from the beginning. I felt something in me assuring me that I could trust you and that you could support me. I can confidently say that I liked you from the moment I met you and I would feel relieved to hear that you felt the same thing” he never broke eye contact.
“Jin, I was alone, abandoned by my parents, scared and had no place to live. You offered me all these when you could have left me there to rot. I trusted you with my story and supported you through it all. You think I would do that to someone I didn’t like?” (Y/n) smiled at him.
“My answer is yes, Jin” and Jin couldn’t help but to wrap his arms around her, keeping her close.
He pulled from the hug and looked in her eyes.
“Can I kiss you?” He blushed.
“Yes” she also blushed.
Jin leaned in and she did the same. A few moments later their lips where touching.
They started moving their lips against each other’s and got as close as humanly possible.
It’s like soulmates. They both knew from the beginning that they belonged to each other.
Their bond was something people were often envious of.
It was the best thing that happened in their lives.
“Baby we need a new name for our big kingdom.” (y/n) said and giggled.
“What about KIMdom? Get it? Because I’m Kim Seokjin? HAHAHAHAHA” Jin’s squeaky laugh echoed in the room.
“Why did I agree to marry you?” (y/n) rolled her eyes.
Childhood Friend! Hoseok x reader
Warnings: None
Genre: Fluff
Summary: One minute you were walking quickly to get home as soon as you could, and the next you bumped into your childhood friend. And things escalate...well.
Word count: 734
~~~~~~~
It was really random.
One minute I was walking quickly to get home as soon as I could, and the next I bumped into some dude with a face mask in hiding more than half of his face.
Also, to my dismay, I spilled a little coffee on him. Not that much but it still left a small wet mark on his shirt.
“Shit. I’m so sorry sir” I said panicking.
This man could be a weirdo. He could randomly yell at me. Or ask me to pay for his shirt. Or… Fuck it’s always me that deals with shit like this…
“Nah it’s fi- wait a minute do I know you or something?” He said and pulled down his face mask.
I dared to look at his face and the sight took my breath away.
“Holy shit! Hoseokie is it you??” My childhood friend, that I had lost contact years ago, was right in front of my face.
“(Y/n)!” He pulled me in a big hug. “I missed you so fucking much” He was still so loud.
“We lost contact so many years ago” I frowned.
“Yeah I had such hectic schedule after my debut. I’m so sorry hun” he frowned back.
Back then we were inseparable. He was my best friend. He was there for me when I had a hard time and I was there for him when his girlfriend dumped him for another guy (It’s a true story though).
“Do you have anywhere to be?” He asked.
“Um… no I was just heading home.” I replied. I got a big smile in return.
“Awesome. Would you like to spend some time with me? I’m free.” He was hopeful (they don’t call him j-hope for nothing).
“Sure. That is a great idea” I was excited.
We sat down in a small coffee shop, really close to my house.
“We have to make time to meet. Now that I saw you after all these years, I can’t just let you go again” Hoseok took a sip from his coffee.
“Totally right.” I replied, too busy munching on my sandwich.
We sat there for hours. We had finished our things and ordered again around 3 times. It was ridiculous how many things we had to say.
There was never an awkward moment. Just like the old times.
I, finally, decided it was time to leave. He insisted to pay for my things too and I insisted he didn’t but he pulled the “i’m a millionaire now. I can buy the store if I want” card and didn’t let me say anything else after that.
We walked around a bit again. Still talking about the things that happened during all those years that we didn’t have the chance to talk.
He offered to bring me home. We both still had time. I didn’t have work tomorrow and he had a free week, before going back to preparing for their comeback.
I invited him over, thanking the gods that I had tidied up the place. We chilled and he texted his friends to explain why he was out for that long, because they were worried.
After we said pretty much everything that happened all this time. He got up and put his jacket on.
When he was ready to leave, he pulled me in a hug again and pulled away slowly.
His eyes met mine. We were only inches apart. He slowly leaned in and so did I.
Our lips met and we both just stood still. Now that’s what I call awkward.
My brain had a hard time realizing what I was doing. I WAS KISSING MY CHILDHOOD FRIEND!
But it felt as if I wanted to do this for so long.
I placed my hand on the nape of his neck, deepening the kiss. His arms wrapped around my waist pulling me closer.
Our lips moved slowly against each other’s. After a few seconds we pulled away to catch our breaths ad he leaned his forehead against mine, smiling and nuzzling my nose with his.
“It feels as if I wanted to do this since forever” He breathed out.
“Yeah, me too” I trailed off.
“Um… Could you, you know, give me your phone number, so I could see you again?” He wasn’t as confident as he seemed a few hours ago.
“Of course” I giggled and gave his lips a small peck.
…….
Just a little something I wrote for a friend

Summary: Jimin has a tendency to overwork himself. But today he reached his limit and luckily you were there to pick him up and take him home.

“The comeback is soon. I have to work harder. I have to finish at least this part by today” Were the words clouding Jimin’s mind.
He had been working since 9 that morning and the time had reached 2 am. He had just recorded his part for the new title track. He had been trying to learn the choreography for the chorus all afternoon. He didn’t eat much to make it easier for him to dance. But he had already reached his limit for today.
He let out loud groans of frustration, before burying his face in his hands. He was tired, hungry, sweaty and upset.
“It looked so easy before. Why do I keep tripping?” He had already lost his patience.
“Why, why, why, why WHY???” He yelled.
He pushed his hair away from his face, breathing in and out trying to calm himself down but failed.
And that’s how you found him. Sitting in a corner. Curled up, like the small ball of sunshine he is. But as soon as he raised his head to find the source of the sound, his puffy eyes met yours.
He had anxiety written all over his face. You had to admit you were expecting to face something like this. It was 2 am after all. Jimin wasn’t at the dorms and hadn’t come over to your house. You already knew what this meant and rushed here to collect your angel boy.
He buried his face is his hands again and you could feel your heart break at the sight.
You quickly rushed to him, pulling him into your arms. He didn’t hug back but didn’t resist.
“Hey, baby, breathe. Come on. Match up your breathing with mine okay? Come on” You whispered to his ear breathing loudly, so he can at least try to do so too
He mimicked your pace of breathing and slowly wrapped his arms around you, burying his face in the crook of your neck.
“Relax. You can do it. You have tomorrow. You still have time, don’t pressure yourself more. You’re done for today. You’ve done more than enough for today and-”
“No it’s not enough. I’ve only recorded something and haven’t finished the chorus yet. I still have things to do” He started to panic again.
Luckily, you had experience from your own panic attacks and knew how to handle it.
“Hey, hey, calm down. Look at me.” You said and he slowly raised his head and locked eyes with you.
“You’ve done more than enough. ARMYs are extremely understanding. They know you try to be perfect for them.”
“But I’m-” You sighed.
“If they saw you like this because of them, it would hurt them. Do you want to hurt them?”
“No, I-”
“Then you’ve done enough for today. It’s time to stop.” I cut him off. (iT’s TiMe To StOp)
“Okay” he sighed and got up to collect his things.
He followed behind you, until you reached your car. He climbed in the passenger’s seat and buckled up.
You started the car and it wasn’t even five minutes, before you heard light snoring coming from him. You stopped at a red sign and looked at him.
“Why are you so hard on yourself?” You said even though you knew he didn’t hear you.
You pushed his hair away from his face and sighed, before the light turned green and you started driving to your house again.
Dance Practice Jimin

Warnings: None
Genre: fluff
Summary:You really love Jimin, and he does too. But what's more important is that his family, the members, also love you.
Word count: 690
~~~~~~~
Jimin practicing means hours of being alone and him working.
He starts early in the morning and comes home, practically, the next day.
Today, once again, he had to record and learn a new choreography. He seemed pretty relaxed this morning, so that meant he wouldn’t overwork himself, much.
I had a day off, so I decided to join him.
He went on with his program, I was sat in a corner watching him and talking a bit with the rest of the members.
Jimin had finished recording and joined me on the couch, softly pecking my lips and gave me a small smile, before talking with Namjoon, about the new songs.
After around a while, we moved to another room, where Jimin started the dance practice with Jungkook for the part they shared.
Jin joined me, relaxing after he finished recording his own part.
“Hello, little one, are you bored?” He always called me that because I’m shorter than Yoongi and Jimin.
“Hello, Jinnie, I’m not bored, I’m watching Jiminie” I always called everyone by their nicknames, not caring to use any honorifics.
“Right” he simply shrugged and laid back to relax his sore back.
I just sat there, watching Jimin and Jungkook dance. Jungkook wasn’t sure about a part and had left to find their teacher, who was helping Hoseok at the moment.
Jimin stayed in the room practicing his part over and over, the music filling the room, stopping and starting again.
Jimin had learned his part, but needed time to make the moves look less stiff.
Jimin was focused on the dance, staring at his reflection in the mirror, his tongue sticking out only a little, his face forming a small ‘o’. He always puts so much passion in his dance and has so much talent, his moves perfectly timed with the music playing in the background.
As all my focus was on him, I barely heard Jin’s chuckle coming from next to me.
I turned to look at Jin, a little confused, expecting to see him scrolling through his phone.
I was met with a smiley Jin, the stupid smile of a 12 year old, spread all over his face. He stared right into my eyes, still smiling.
“Wipe that stupid grin from your face, it’s annoying me” I fake snapped.
He wiggled his eyebrows at me and nagged my shoulder with his.
“What do you want?” The music was still playing in the background and Jimin was too into his dance to pay attention to anything else.
“God, you’re so cute” He let his head fall back. He saw my confused expression and continued quickly.
“You were staring at Jimin” He exclaimed.
“So?” I cut him off.
“You had a look on your face, like, I can’t describe it, but it’s like you were looking at something perfect, you were admiring him, with a small smile and wide eyes. It’s so cute” He squealed.
I blushed hard at his words.
“Stop Jin” I whined.
“No seriously, I could be talking about it for hours, it looked so genuine. Now that’s what we call whipped.” Jin had a teasing tone on his voice.
I looked away, trying to ignore him, focusing on Jimin.
“Ah there it is again!” He pointed at my face and I pretended to bite his finger.
He quickly withdrew it away from me, but still had the teasing smile on his face.
“Seriously (y/n), I’m glad you actually admire Jimin so much.” Jin said.
“Look, Jin, Jimin is a person I don’t only admire, but love dearly and I thought you knew it already. I want Jimin to be happy, I want him to enjoy his life without worrying about anything, I want him to take care of himself, to not overwork and starve himself. Do you understand me?” I rambled without realizing.
“Of course sweetie, I already knew it but I’m glad I can see it and have proof.” He chuckled and pulled me in a hug.
Jimin noticed us through the mirror and smiled at the fact that his family accepts and loves me as much as he does.
Taehyung x reader Demon!Tae Soulmate Au
Angst wannabe, no smut, a little fluff later
Summary: You didn't want to get married to a random man, but your parents didn't seem to get it. When you reached out to your best friend, Taehyung, he disappeared, having to face his own problems. However, soulmates are all about the perfect timing, so Taehyung came back exactly when you needed him the most.
P.S. I know, it seems sloppy, I could totally write better than that, if English was my first language, but hope you like it.
“And what if I don’t want to get married with him? I haven’t even turned 18 yet and you’re planning my marriage?” I asked my parents who out of the blue decided to have a ‘serious talk’ with me.
My birthday is in two weeks and they suddenly remembered that they have planned my wedding and that I’m getting married in a month. This is absolutely disgusting.
“Exactly, you’re not 18, so you have to follow our orders whether you like it or not.” I hate her way of thinking. “Your father and I decided that this is exactly what you need at this point in your life and we found a boy, great family status, your age, who is just perfect. I’m sure you’ll get along and even if you don’t, since you’re going to get married, you’ll have to get used to him. You are going to be a woman soon. Women don’t work. You are young, I’m sure you can have children if you try, so there’s no point in arguing when you know I have a point!”
“But mom, what about my soulmate? My mark is going to appear as soon as I turn 18. How am I supposed to get married, if I have someone else’s name on my wrist?”
“First, you know, both of us don’t believe in those things. We’re ‘soulmates’ but we don’t have marks. Second, what if that man is your soulmate? But I still insist, those things do not exist. You can write anyone’s name on your wrist and pretend it’s a soulmate mark or whatever.” My father’s voice was loud and serious.
Well, my parents don’t have soulmate marks and strongly believe the whole soulmate thing is…. Bullshit. But I do believe in these stuff. I have seen older friends of mine have marks. 90% of the population has marks and just because my parents refuse to believe they belong to that 10% I’m supposed to follow their stupid orders.
“It’s not-”
“Enough. You’re getting married to him in a month.” My father cut me off and left the room, pulling my mom by the arm with him.
I need Taehyung.
I left my house, quickly and visited my childhood friend Tae, who lives next door.
Taehyung is an orphan. Actually, his parents abandoned him at the age of 10. He had learned how to live alone, avoided the orphanage at all costs, so we just made sure he always had something to eat and visited him once a day around noon. That was all until the age of 12. Taehyung and I, then, got closer, when he beat up a guy that tried to rob me, so after that he was usually over at my house. He slowly became my best friend. He supported me and I supported him. He helped me solve my problems and I did the same. But right now, I knew he couldn’t do anything other than comfort me.
I spent the whole afternoon in his warm embrace. I felt his warm breath on my neck. His aura was calming me. We didn’t speak at all. Just stayed there. Enjoying each other’s company. I’m lucky Tae is part of my life.
A week passed slowly. I knew I had to live my life to the fullest, before I lost my freedom forever but I just couldn’t find interest in anything anymore. The weird thing was that I hadn’t heard from Tae at all. He suddenly disappeared from my life. Only a week before my birthday. I was worried. He had turned 18 a while ago. His mark had started to appear on his wrist but it wasn’t clear enough yet and for a strange reason he was covering it.
The days passed. My marriage with the unknown man took place. I think his name was Choi Kwangsoo. My parents and his were happy. He also seemed pleased, but I was disgusted. I was rude towards him, his family, my family, everyone. Tae didn’t come to my wedding and to say I was hurt was an understatement. I had no one at this point. I was living through this hell alone.
I had visited Tae’s house so many times. He was never there. I hadn’t heard from him since that day. Our last words to each other were ‘see you tomorrow’, but that day never came.
It wasn’t until six months that had passed after my wedding, when I received a letter, it was from Taehyung.
Dear (y/n),
I’m sorry for leaving you so suddenly, with no explanation, I still can’t explain the reason why though. (…) I hope you forgive me. I hope you’re happy with the man you are married to. I don’t want you to worry about me. Just forget I existed. Just like my parents. Just like everyone else.
Taehyung.
It was the worst day of my life. I kept reading and rereading the letter because I couldn’t believe it. After that I had no feelings. No happiness. No sadness. I just lived. My emotions were drained from me. It felt like I had lost my will to live. Nothing seemed exciting anymore. And that letter from Taehyung was practically nothing. I only knew he was alive. But as he wrote, no explanation. It was the only thing that could bring me slight happiness. That he was alive. He was breathing. But…
The paper was suddenly snatched from my hand by my husband. He quickly read it, despite my attempts to take it back.
“Who the fuck is this, you whore? Taehyung? What the hell? Are you cheating on me? You? A fucking slut, cheating on, ME? I could have any bitch I wanted .and you think you can cheat on me?” He was furious for no reason, but I knew I had every right to be upset with him.
“I-”
“Shut the fuck up!” he cut me off.
He let the paper fall from his hand and took big steps towards me. He tried to grab me but I kicked him as hard as I could
“Fuck you.” I screamed and rushed past him running outside.
I left the house as soon as possible, running to the forest to hide from him.
I ran for what felt like an eternity, before I stopped to catch my breath. When I looked up, the scene I was met with made me freeze.
I couldn’t believe my eyes. A man, with things like thorns coming out of his back, growing like tree branches, high above him. I couldn’t move. My breath hitched in my throat and all I could do was stare at the creature in front of me.
The man turned to look at me and I suddenly felt like I looked straight at medusa. Like a rock, I stood there, my eyes met his red ones that were glowing in the dark. He suddenly disappeared and I finally came out of the trance I was in.
What is this creature?
Summary: You didn't want to get married to a random man, but your parents didn't seem to get it. When you reached out to your best friend, Taehyung, he disappeared, having to face his own problems. However, soulmates are all about the perfect timing, so Taehyung came back exactly when you needed him the most.
You could listen to this while reading. (I’ll tell you when to begin) i just wanted to make it more dramatic hehe
Pt1 here
After the shock I experienced when I locked eyes with the mysterious creature, I was reminded of my current state. Helpless, alone, in a forest, at night. What could I possibly do to, at least, survive the night? I climbed up a tree, using every rock and fallen branch I could find, to step on. I got on a big enough branch and sat. Well, this is all I can do. I tried to get some sleep, but the constant sounds around me kept me alarmed.
Unlucky me, didn’t know, that my husband had followed me, until he saw the creature and me lock eyes. That was when he left, realizing he could use all this against me. He, the same night, visited the castle, and to inform the king. Kwangsoo was a lucky bastard, because his childhood friend, Daejung, inherited the throne of his ill father, just a month after our wedding. So he practically didn’t have to do anything but to exaggerate, while explaining to him what happened.
And my luck was still absent, because it wasn’t even an hour after the sun had risen, when I heard voices from under the branch I was sitting. I was in a state of being half asleep, when I realized that the voices were threatening me.
“Get down from the tree, before we come up there.” Kwangsoo’s voice filled my ears. My eyes widened at the picture in front of me. Kwangsoo and five… soldiers? They were armed men in armors, so they were probably part of the king’s army. And at that moment I realized I was doomed.
The men started kicking on the tree to make it move. I had no choice but to get down. The men gathered around me, two of them grabbed each of my arms and the others walked around us, in case I tried to escape.
I was taken to the castle. My hands are tied. Literally. I was put down, sitting on my knees, in front of the king’s throne. Soldiers and maids all around me, Kwangsoo smirking in a corner.
Daejung had a look of disgust written across his face. He ‘tsk’ed out loud, shaking his head from right to left.
“Bring her to the guillotine.” He simply ordered. What?
The men grabbed me again and escorted me out quickly. I was placed in front of the guillotine, in the middle of the village’s central square. The king’s voice was loud behind me.
“Her decapitation will take place on sunset.” He simply stated and walked away with his men. Kwangsoo stayed behind. He placed his hand on my cheek, still smirking.
“And you thought you could run away, you cheating bitch.” He slapped me and walked away chuckling.
(You can begin listening to the song)
As the sun started setting, a lot of people started gathering around me. They were gossiping, everyone on my husband’s side. I never got the chance to even explain myself to anyone.
An ear ripping screech was heard from behind the crowd that had formed. My mother.
She pushed from between the people. As soon as her eyes met mine, she stopped. She took steps back. As people started questioning her about me, she turned to me with a cold glare and the words I heard, hit me harder than anything could.
“I don’t recognize this person. I never had a child. That girl is not my daughter.” She exclaimed and people apologized and let her go. She too steps back, but stayed to watch my decapitation unfold.
The king arrived, along with my husband and a few of his soldiers.
“You have one minute left.” A soldier said.
Revenge.
“Hi mom! Yeah you! Stop pretending you can’t hear m-” I was cut off mid-sentence by a hand covering my mouth.
“Did I say you could speak?” I glared at the soldier and licked his hand and he pulled it away, cringing.
“It’s time.” The king spoke up and moved closer.
“Kwangsoo, will you have the honor?” He pointed at the guillotine and my husband hesitated, before taking a step to the front.
“With pleasure.” He replied and held the rope.
“Let’s all count down, shall we?” The king turned to the crowd.
I took a breath in. Memories of Taehyung and I filled my thoughts. The first time I met him, the afternoons he spent over at my house, getting along with my family, his 18th birthday.
Why did he leave me?
And right before Kwangsoo let the rope go from his hands, a scream was heard from a person from the crowd.
“The demon!” the woman screamed, before fainting.
I turned my head to my left, where she was pointing.
I was faced with something I wasn’t expecting.
A creature with huge wings staring right at the king with a smirk on his face.
My eyes widened.
Taehyung.
“It can’t be…” Kwangsoo’s mumble was heard from my right.
I was just as shocked as everyone else.
The creature I saw in the forest is… Taehyung? My childhood friend. The person that was there for me, when I went through hardships. The person I was there for, when the nightmares of his parents leaving him filled his thoughts. But most importantly, the person I was wishing, secretly, every night to be my soulmate. The person that ran around my mind whenever someone mentioned soulmates.
When he refused to show me the name that appeared on his wrist, my inner optimist thought that it was my name written on his skin, but my pessimist side, and the most dominant one, always replied with an “If so, then why isn’t he showing it to you?”.
Even after all this, I kept wishing to see his name written on my skin.
But when my mark was finally clear enough to read, it seemed too late. Taehyung had disappeared from my life and I was already married.
The words ‘Kim Taehyung’ written on my skin with calligraphic letters appeared. He is my soulmate. I repeated over and over again. I think I hadn’t lived a happier day in my life. I was dancing around my room, I was practically glowing with happiness.
He is my soulmate. He is destined to be mine and I, his. He is mine. Taehyung is mine. But, am I his soulmate? Am I his?
Every time this thought came back, my happiness faded. How could I know? How could he know? Taehyung wasn’t a part of my life anymore.
Still, now, so close to dying, the doubt filled my thoughts. Am I his soulmate?
Taehyung’s, now, wings were spread, the smirk never leaving his face.
As soon as Kwangsoo’s grip on the rope loosened, Taehyung flew as fast as he could towards me. He caught the blade with his bare hands, before it reached my neck. He pulled it off of the wood and dropped it down. He freed my head from the frame and pulled me close to him, but before he could do anything, soldiers gathered around us with their spears (Britney) pressed to his neck.
Taehyung chuckled. He just chuckled. The soldiers around him, confused kept their weapons in their hands.
“So, it is true.” The king’s voice got the attention of everyone.
“Your dumb wife did try to cheat on you with a demon. Too bad they’ll both lose their lives today. Isn’t it sad, Kwangsoo?” He turned towards his friend who looked ready to run for his life. I had never seen Kwangsoo scared and honestly, it is my favorite sight.
“You wish.” Taehyungs growl was heard from behind me.
He felt spears (Britney) jabbing his wings and pressing onto his neck tighter.
“Oh, you’re really optimistic, even moments before dying. How sweet, that you’re trying to act brave in front of your dumb bitch.” Kwangsoo’s shaky voice betrayed him. Taehyung’s grip around me tightened after he heard the word “bitch”.
Taehyung had had enough. He grabbed me and flew high. The soldiers moved to the front, but couldn’t grab him. He flew away from them, chuckling at how easy it was to avoid their, fancy but useless, spears (Britney).
“Dumb humans calling you a dumb bitch is ironic.” He mumbled and flew far away (so faaaaaar awaaaaay) from them.
My gaze fell to his arms wrapped around me and I tried to make out the words on his skin. But I couldn’t see anything.
“I’ll lower us down soon.” He said as he searched for a safe place away from them.
I still hadn’t spoken up. I was dumbfounded, but calm in the arms of my soulmate. But once again the doubt filled my head.
I finally stepped on ground, on a high rock, obviously too hard for humans to climb.
Taehyung freed my tied legs and when he reached my tied hands, his eyes fell on the mark. He gazed at this name engraved on my skin and his eyes widened.
He quickly freed me from the ropes and looked straight into my eyes.
I blushed under his stare, turning my head to my right.
His hand reached my cheek and I, subconsciously, leaned into his touch. He turned my face to make me look at him, and we locked eyes.
“So it is you. It’s actually you.” His voice was shaky and his eyes were teary.
He moved our hands next to each other’s and I finally saw what I was waiting to see all this time.
‘(Y/n) (Y/l/n)’
I shed a tear of happiness and pulled him close, burying my head in the crook of his neck, inhaling his scent.
“I missed you” I whispered, my tears now staining my cheeks.
“I missed you so much. Do you know how hard it was to live without you? To spend my eighteenth birthday alone? To get married to a stupid man that made me miserable? Why did you leave Tae? Why did you leave me alone?” I whimpered.
Taehyung hugged my trembling body tighter.
“I’m sorry. I was scared. When I got your name on my wrist, I was excited. I tried to keep it a secret until you got your mark and make it a surprise, but when you came to me crying about your parents forcing you to marry someone else, I lost it. I couldn’t bear being around you knowing you couldn’t be mine.” He sniffled and pulled away staring into my eyes.
“Two days after I left, things like spikes appeared in my back, and I panicked. I hid in the woods, until I found an old man who explained to me exactly what was going on and showed me a place to hide from humans. The night I saw you, I also saw your husband hiding behind you, and panicked. I thought you recognized me. I hid from you, but stayed around, making sure no one would attack you in your sleep. And around dawn, I left to make sure you wouldn’t find me. But that was the biggest mistake, because that was when they caught you. I waited until I learned how to fly with my wings and I think I came just when I was supposed to.” He wiped away my tears and placed some hair behind my ear.
“I’m sorry I hid from you. I’m sorry you went through all these. I’m sorry I put your life in danger. But most importantly, I’m sorry I didn’t tell you that we are soulmates earlier. It would have been so different. Everything would be better.” He sighed.
“Taehyung,” He sat down next to me and spread his hurt wings, drops of blood flying behind him.
“But let’s not think about this now. You’ve got me and I’ve got you and you’re all I need.” He confessed and my heart fluttered.
“Isn’t this the part where we kiss? Soulmate?” He turned to me with a teasing smile and I blushed hiding my face in my hands.
“Ahh, you’re too cute.” He said and pulled me on his lap.
“You’ve gotten stronger.” I tried to change the subject and he buried his face in my neck, nuzzling his nose against me.
“I was always strong.” He mumbled and pulled his face away, a cute pout on his lips.
“Ahh, you’re too cute.” I mimicked him and he chuckled.
He placed his palm on my cheek and leaned in closer. My breath hitched in my throat as I stared at his lips. So kissable. So fucking kissable.(my actual thoughts on Tae’s lips)
Just before his lips reached mine, he stopped. “Can I?” He whispered.
I gave him a small nod and soon enough, he pressed his lips against mine. I felt him smiling into the kiss, as he pulled our faces closer deepening the kiss.
I placed my palm on his cheek as our lips moved against each other’s in perfect sync.
“I love you, soulmate.”
“And I love you too, soulmate”
Ice cream man
Jungkook x single mother and childhood friend reader
Warnings: None
Genre: Fluff (?)
Summary: Your little daughter can give you so much trouble sometimes, especially since you're a single mother. But, after many years you meet with your friend Jungkook, who wants to support you and your daughter in the way her father didn't.
Word count: 1.1k (1129)
“Jihyo, please don’t run away from mommy.” I whined and trailed behind my 5 year old child.
“But mommy, the ice cream will leave!” She chanted and started tugging on my arm.
“No, baby, the ice cream parlor stays there, walk slower, please, I’m getting old.” I promised her I would get her ice cream, if she didn’t bite any kids at kindergarten, so I had to keep my promise and take her to the ice cream parlor that’s close to my small apartment.
Being a mother at 23 is hard. Being a single mother at 23, is even harder. But no struggle compares to her little giggles and her smile.
“Mom, come on, quickly!” She ran inside, the woman behind the counter smiled at her. “I want ice cream!” Jihyo said loudly.
“What flavor do you want, sweetie?” The woman looked at her and then at me. After asking for our favorites, we waited for the woman to finish and I pulled out my wallet to pay for the ice cream.
“Your sister is really cute.” The woman said and handed me the two cones.“Thank you, but she’s my daughter.” I replied with a small smirk.
Every time. They think she’s my sister and when I tell them that she’s my daughter, they stare at me shocked.
“But you look really young, like, early twenties?” The woman said with a confused voice and handed me the receipt. “Because I am.” I replied, took Jihyo’s hand and turned to leave, Jihyo yelling goodbyes to the lady.
On our way back to my small apartment, Jihyo, once again overly excited, started walking faster than me. At one point, she turned to say something to me, but in the process, stumbled on a man, the ice cream going all over his tight pants. FUCK! I hope he’s not a weirdo.
“Oh, be careful, little one.” He said in a calm voice. He kneeled down, his face being the same level as Jihyo now. “I’m sorry for your ice cream, do you want me to get you another one?” He whispered at Jihyo, who was now pouting. Just pouting. Thank god my child isn’t one of those who throw tantrums.
The man raised his head to look at me and I suddenly felt my stomach tight. “(Y/n)?” “Jungkook?” “Oh my god, is it really you?” He said and slowly stood. He extended his hand to Jihyo, who held it. “Is that..?” He trailed off and looked at Jihyo who now had a confused look on her face.
“Mommy, is this mister a stranger?” She asked letting go of Jungkook’s hand and hiding behind me. “No, Jihyo, I’m mommy’s friend.” He said once again kneeling. “I know your mommy since I was your age. But I work a lot and haven’t seen her since you were a baby.”
“But I am baby” She giggled and hugged Jungkook’s leg. “I’m sorry for your pants .” She apologized and I felt so proud of my little baby. “It’s okay. Now, shall I go buy you another ice cream?” He said and I cut him off saying that he didn’t have to, but he insisted. He got her the same and got one for himself and we all sat down on a bench, eating and happily chatting.
“Thank you ice cream man!” Jihyo turned to Jungkook, who giggled.
Jungkook and I soon finished our ice cream and he walked over to the bin and threw the paper towels and sat down next to Jihyo again.
He raised his head to look at me, and our eyes met. He has grown up now, he looked really great, but a little tired. “I missed you.” He whispered. “Me too.” I replied. Jungkook has been so busy all these years. We actually lost contact soon after I gave birth to Jihyo.
The first person that held her was him. The photo my mom took is still in my room. He supported me during my pregnancy, even if he isn’t her father.
“Do you get anyone’s help, sometimes?” he asked in English and I got exactly what he wanted to say.“No.” I simply replied.
No, I don’t have anyone, because who would date a 23 year old with a child?
Jungkook nodded. But he had a small smile on his face. It would either be for Jihyo who now widened her eyes and turned to him, or because of what I said to him.
“What is your name?” Jihyo asked remembering that she hadn’t introduced herself the way she does. “My name is Jungkook, but I know your name.” He said and Jihyo pouted. “No! Ask me for my name!” she whined. “Fine, what is your name?” Jungkook said with a baby voice.
“One, two, three, A, B, C, my name is Jihyo you see!” Jihyo jumped the way her favorite cartoon character did and sent a flying kiss to Jungkook. She, her father and their fucking flying kisses.
Jungkook smiled the whole time during her introduction and giggled at the end. “One, two and three, A, B and C, my name is Jungkook you see!” He imitated her. “Noo! It’s not right!” She whined. I kept looking at them interacting, a smile spread on my face. I missed him so much.
After a while, Jungkook, pulled out his phone, to take silly selfies with the little one, but once he saw the time his eyes widened, but he quickly covered it and turned to me.
“I don’t have the same phone number, because I lost my phone and all the contacts. Please give me your phone number.” He said and handed me his phone. I put my number in his phone, leaving the contact name blank, and handed it to him. He put a “<3” only and quickly snapped a photo of me to use it for my contact.
“Thank you. Jihyo, Jungkook has to leave, but I will see you again really soon, okay?” He said and she nodded. She wrapped her small arms around his neck and kissed his cheek. He lowered her down and turned to me, his arms wide open. He embraced me and buried his head in my neck.
“I will not disappear again. Ever. I’ll be here for you.” He whispered and squeezed me tight. He pulled away from the hug and turned to the both of us.
“Goodbye, beautiful ladies. I’ll see you soon!” He smiled and winked at Jihyo, who was now blushing and hiding behind me. He walked away and I took a look at Jihyo’s blushing face and held her hand.
“Mommy, mister Jungkook is really funny. I really like him!” She squealed and jumped. “Me too.” I whispered and we both walked to the direction of my apartment.
Summary: Jimin is a single father and you are his daughter's teacher. He can't help but flirt with you, because you're really attractive and you can't help it either, for the same reason.
A/N:If you asked me which member seems most likely be a single parent, I would say jimin, idk he just gives me this vibe lol
Word count: 575
“Jisoo-ah, it’s not going to be that bad. You’ll just be here for a few hours, then daddy will pick you up.” Jimin tried to comfort his crying daughter.
“Oh, who is this? Are you Jisoo?” I bent next to the small girl, excited to meet the new student.
The small girl nodded, wiping her tears with the back of the small fists and hid her face in her daddy’s neck.
“Aw, it’s so nice to finally meet you. I’m teacher (y/n). I’m really good and I can scare away all the monsters, I promise.” I added with a giggle, trying not to come off as scary to the shy girl.
“Jisoo, daddy has to leave now, but you shouldn’t worry, teacher (y/n) is really good and will take good care of you.” He tried to pull her away from him. The girl shyly looked at me and then at her dad.
“Come on, Jisoo, take of your shoes and your jacket and then we can meet your classmates. Everyone is waiting to meet you.” I urged her and she helped her dad remove the shoes and jacket. I placed them in the place and bent next to her again. I held out my palm, the small girl slowly accepting my offer and placed her tiny palm in my, less tiny one.
Her dad grinned at me, giving a kiss to her cheek and stood up.
“You can come to me anytime. I’ll make sure nothing bad happens and I’ll protect you okay. I’m your friend here and I will be there for you, okay?” I said in a quiet, calming voice and she nodded giving me a smile, before turning to her dad.
“Okay now leave. daddy. I will make friends now with teacher (y/n) bye bye!” And started walking towards a classroom pulling at my hand.
Jimin, faked hurt, placing his hand on his chest, before giving a smile to his daughter and a wave.
Another teacher came, introducing herself to Jisoo, who now seemed easier to approach. She left my hand and held the other teacher’s hand and got in the class.
I turned to Jimin, a proud smile on his face.
“Ah, it seems like it’s your first child, am I right?” I said as I held out some papers for him to sign.
“Ah yes, how did you know?” Jimin shyly smiled, taking the pen from your hand and started signing to the blank spaces I pointed at.
“All parents look really proud when their first child goes to kindergarten. After their first one, they are way calmer.” I pointed out.
“Ah, is it really that obvious?” he asked, blushing and handing me back my pen.
“Yes, too obvious.” I giggled. “Well thank you so much, we will be waiting for you in the afternoon!” I said in my, now professional teacher voice. I swear I saw him cringe.
“Please don’t use this tone, your normal is way more friendly and cute.” And I blushed so hard after his comment.
“I think, I gave you my phone number, if anything happens, please contact me.” He said watching a teacher go past us, before he continued.
“You, can contact me anytime.” He added with a wink, before waving, a smile spread on his face, his eyes turning to slits.
“Bye! Give Jisoo a kiss for me.” He said and left, leaving me a blushing mess.
It’s gonna be a long year.
“Stay away from Jungkook”
Jungkook x reader
Warnings: just a few cuss words
Summary: You really liked Jungkook, but his friends didn't seem to approve of you. Jungkook got fed up with their behavior and stood up for you, as he really liked you too.
Word count: 865
~~~~~~~
Falling for Jungkook was probably the dumbest thing I’ve done in my whole life. Jungkook and his bandmates are really close, to the point where they’re practically family. Which is nice, to know that these people always have his back, but at the same time, it’s not that much of a good thing. Exactly because of this, becoming his friend is hard, especially if the rest are not too fond of you.
Jungkook loves video editing, but was introduced to this photography class through Taehyung. Taehyung never paid any attention to me, until Jungkook started attending this class and we became friends.
A few months ago, I was assigned to do a group project with Jungkook, where we decided to trade styles, dressed as each other and did some photoshoots. I met Jungkook at his dorm and had a lot of fun during the photoshoot and we slowly became friends.
Taehyung’s glare was piercing through my skull, as Jungkook and I were commenting on some new projects, Jungkook mostly complaining about who he got paired with, while I didn’t dare to speak, because I was paired with Taehyung.
“Well, at least I’ll see you this weekend, if you meet with Taehyung, so it won’t be completely ruined by Kwangsoo.” (Yes, the same name as in Forbidden Love with Taehyung, part 1 link here)
“Yeah, oh man you weren’t so lucky this time, but at least one of us was, I’m sure we’ll work well with Taehyung. Anyway, I have to go now, so I’ll see you?” I added with a giggle, momentarily turning to look at Taehyung’s disgusted face and turned back to Jungkook again.
“Of course! Goodbye (y/n)!” He said and quickly hugged me goodbye, Taehyung not even offering me his hand for a handshake. Ugh things will be hard this weekend.
Later that day, I received a message from Taehyung’s number simply stating we could meet that Saturday in the afternoon, not even asking me if I’m free then.
I replied with a simple ‘okay’ not even bothering trying to be nice to him. Sadly, Jungkook and Kwangsoo would also meet then, but not at the dorm, so that meant I couldn’t see Jungkook.
Houston, we have a problem.
I was greeted in by, not Taehyung, but a shorter guy, who I recognized as Jimin, who as soon as he saw me, grimaced, but opened the door for me to get in.
I slipped off of my shoes, putting them in a corner with some other shoes and turned to look at Jimin, but he was nowhere to be seen. Another man, taller than the previous guy, really stylish, big smile, walked out of a room and walked towards me. His smile slowly being replaced with a cringe.This must be Hoseok, based on Jungkook’s description of him.
He quietly took a pair of shoes and walked out the door. How can Jungkook, the sweetest boy in the world, live with these people?
First Taehyung, then the short guy and then the stylish one and I have just met 3 of his 6 bandmates.
Finally Taehyung walked out of a room and caught my eye. He just nodded upwards in a way to greet me and pointed at the room, silently inviting me in. I walked to the room, facing the floor.
The door closed behind me, only Taehyung, Jimin and me in the room.
“Hi?” I let out in a squeaky voice, Jimin’s eyebrow raised and Taehyung sighed.
“Listen here, you,” Jimin one said, obviously not even caring to know my name.
“(y/n)” I cut him off and he sighed.
“I don’t care. I only wanna say one thing and I’ll leave you two to work. I don’t want you anywhere near Jungkook unless necessary, do you understand me?” He dared to let out and didn’t even bother letting me talk, before waving his hand dismissively and walking out of the room.
“Excuse me? Taehyung, what is going on?” I asked completely dumbfounded.
“You heard him. We don’t want you close to Jungkook unless necessary and it’s final.” He stated and turned to his camera.
“What? What did I even do to you? If Jungkook wants me around, then that’s all that matters!” And suddenly the thought of Jungkook, not actually wanting to be friends with me crossed my mind, breaking my heart.
“Jungkook doesn’t know shit. I know what you are and I know that a snake like you shouldn’t be around him. Stay away from Jungkook. Now let’s just work on this project and get over with it.” He changed the subject, obviously not knowing how to justify his words.
Taehyung and I worked quietly the whole time, giving each other orders here and there and soon we were done.
I have to tell Jungkook about this. Or not?
I texted Jungkook a plain “we need to talk” text and ignored his replies. He was probably so confused.
We met the next day over at his dorm. I had forgotten to tell him that I didn’t want the others around, so when I showed up, the stylish and smiley guy frowned again, but opened the door for me. Jungkook was in their living room, he greeted me with a little wave and a big smile.
Along with him, in the living room, were Jimin and two other guys, I hadn’t met yet, who I recognized as Jin and Namjoon.
To my extremely bad luck, Taehyung was also there.
“What are you doing here?” His voice boomed through the room, Jungkook turning to look at him confused.
“What is going on here, Taehyung?” Namjoon asked.
“I told you to stay away.” Taehyung ignored his hyung’s question.
“Taehyung, Namjoon asked you something and you’re supposed to answer. What is going on?” Jin said and Taehyung finally turned to look at them.
“I don’t want her here. In case you haven’t realized, this is (y/n)” He said and suddenly the man’s expression changed.
“Oh, so you’re (y/n)…” Jin trailed off, with a disgusted look all over his face.
“Um, can someone explain?” Jungkook suddenly spoke up.
“She has to leave. We’re sorry Jungkook, but you should stay away from her.” Namjoon said.
“What? You too? What the fuck did I do to you?” I was fuming with anger by this point. Jin’s tongue clicked after I cursed.
“Um, why is everyone so rude to (y/n)?” Jungkook’s small voice was heard.
“Jungkook you shouldn’t be kind to snakes like her.” Jimin said like a little devil on his shoulder.
“What the fuck? I’m right here!” I whined and Taehyung clicked his tongue in annoyance.
“Just leave and never talk to Jungkook again.” Jimin said and Jungkook looked hurt.
“No, I want to be friends with (y/n). You can’t tell me what to do!” Jungkook whined and walked to my side, pulling me close to him.
“Jungkook, we know what’s right for you, we’re family, we wouldn’t ever want to hurt you! Listen to us!” Jimin approached Jungkook placing a hand on his shoulder but Jungkook shrugged it off.
“I know (y/n). She’s a fun person and I really like her. You can’t take her away from me!” Jungkook whined, but when he realized what he said his eyes widened.
A small smile was formed in everyone’s face and Jungkook turned to me.
“I mean…I... I...” He trailed off, “Do you like me, Jungkook?” I asked and he nodded. “I like you too. For quite a long time to be honest.” Jungkook smiled so big and opened his arms to wrap me in a hug, before we got interrupted.
“What??? (y/n) is here? No, you’re a snake leave!” A loud voice was heard and Hoseok walked in, a small smile on his face.
“Hoseok hyung, you ruined it!” Taehyung whined.
“I’m sorry, I told you I can’t act!” Hoseok pouted
“You were already late. Forget it, you ruined their moment now.” Namjoon sighed
“Um, what?” Jungkook turned to his hyungs, forgetting about out moment.
“We’re sorry Jungkook, we just had realized you two liked each other and wanted to help you. Well, prank you first and then help you.” Jin admitted.
Jungkook and I blushed, before turning to look at each other.
“I really like you.” Jungkook stated, his arms coming around my waist, his nose touching mine.
“I like you too.” I said and Hoseok whined. “Just kiss already.”
Jungkook blushed, but turned his head to the side, softly connecting our lips. I smiled into the kiss, moving my mouth against his. I placed my hand on the back of his head, playing with his hair and pulling him closer.
Yoongi walked then in and let a small ‘oh’ out.
“Am I too late for our prank?”
I hope you text me soon

Jungkook x male reader
Warnings: mention of smoking (don’t smoke guys, it’s not healthy)
Word count: 1.1k (1195 words)
Genre: fluff i guess?
Summary:Everyone seems to be so eager to see the cute barista, including Jungkook, but luck doesn’t seem to be on his side. So, what if he creepily followed him on his break?
~~~~~~~
It seemed to be a regular day for Jungkook. He woke up, got ready and started his day. On his way though, he noticed something different. A new coffee shop had opened and there seemed to be a huge line, people wanting to support the new place. He wasn't planning to actually go, especially because he hated waiting in line for that long. However there was something that caught his attention.
Whispers were heard coming from girls, about how cute the male barista was. He was now really curious to see how cute that barista could be to impress that many people. So he waited. And waited. Until it was finally the time to order.
To his dismay he was met with the face of a girl, the other barista nowhere to be seen. He tried to hide his frown as he ordered a coffee and left as quickly as he could, disappointed.
Jungkook moved on with his day, occupying himself with other stuff as he tried not to think about what happened earlier today. But of course, Jungkook can’t let something like that slide.
He decided to visit the same coffee shop the next day. Again, had to wait in a really long line, but this time he overheard something from the people in front of him that made him want to stomp his foot like a child.
"I came yesterday and there was a cute guy, the barista I was talking about. But I heard that today he has a day off, which is really unfortunate." She said to the group and a bunch of "aw man" and "That’s too bad" were heard from her friends.
Jungkook thought it would be too weird if he randomly left after waiting for so long, so he stayed and ordered, again leaving disappointed.
This couldn't be happening. It was so annoying. He just wanted to see his dumb face and go. At first it was just out of curiosity but now that he kept missing the chance to see him, he felt determined. He will eventually get to see him, he can’t be that unlucky.
The next days were really busy for him meaning that he couldn't visit the coffee shop and it really bumped him. He couldn't focus on any task. His only thought was the barista that he had yet to meet. It was obvious to everyone else that something was on his mind. Jungkook was determined to see him.
So the next day he woke up earlier than usual. Trying to avoid the line but to also avoid the barista's break like the first time.
There was still a long line but not compared to the previous days. So he waited. As he reached closer and closer, he tried to take a look at the barista. Lucky for him he saw him there. But he was still far. He did seem really attractive though.
Jungkook panicked when he saw someone come from the back and motion him to take a break just as it was his turn to order. He said his order to the other barista as quickly as possible and paid, rushing to go to the back to find the barista.
He has to admit, he didn’t think much about it before going, the only time he let himself act impulsively. He was met with a sight he wasn’t expecting.
The barista had sat on an old chair, smoking a cigarette, letting his head fall back as he let the smoke out. Jungkook could swear his heart skipped a beat at the sight. The barista noticed him first and gave an awkward smile.
"Can I help you?" He asked and Jungkook shuddered after hearing his voice. "I..." Jungkook trailed off not knowing what to say.
"I'm (y/n)" he said and let out his hand for Jungkook to shake. "Jungkook" he relpied and shook his hand.
The barista's palm was so soft, it made Jungkook hold it for quite a little longer. He felt so awkward. He didn’t know what to say.
"I'm really sorry, but my break is coming to an end so I have to go back." (Y/n) threw the cigarette away and Jungkook nodded.
"I don’t have a programme yet, but I guess I’ll work in the mornings and my break will be around this hour. So if you would like, you can come again tomorrow at this time so we could talk." He continued and Jungkook nodded again as the man smiled and went back inside leaving Jungkook alone.
How could he come back tomorrow after this embarrassing interaction?
Jungkook pondered over what to wear for a little too long, but he was just in time, as he saw the barista pull out a chair. (Y/n) waved at him and brought a second chair for Jungkook to sit.
"Good morning. I made you coffee, it's on the house" (y/n) said and Jungkook blushed.
"You didn’t have to" he softly let out and the barista laughed a little.
"It’s okay, I wanted to do it anyway. Do you mind if I smoke?" He asked and Jungkook shook his head 'no'.
He wasn’t prepared to see the hot sight of him smoking again but he knew he couldn’t avoid it.
"So, Jungkook, tell me, how come you followed me back here yesterday?" He confidently asked and Jungkook gulped.
"To be honest, I don’t know what came over me. I acted impulsively and didn’t think of what to do next. I'm sorry if I creeped you out. I had just heard people talk about you and was really curious to see you. Then every time I came here, for a random reason I didn’t see you and it made me determined. So when I saw you leaving for your break when I was about to order I panicked." He rambled and (y/n) just nodded along and let out a small laugh again.
"I see. Well, I don’t mean to sound cocky but I did notice those people staring at me and talking about me. I'm glad that you were the only one out of them that was confident to talk to me. It seemed as if they were afraid to say anything after ordering. It was weird. I'm just a simple person. Not some celebrity or something. So I'm glad you practically saw me as a normal person and came up to me." (Y/n) admitted and Jungkook could just nod, at loss of words.
Silence followed and (y/n) took another drag of his cigarette, letting the smoke out in the same way as the first time Jungkook saw him and Jungkook’s heart had the same reaction as then.
Soon, his break was again coming to an end and he apologised, Jungkook shaking his head.
"It’s okay, I understand, this is work." He said and got up. The barista took out a paper from his pocket.
"Here is my number, we can meet again and this time for longer, so that we actually get to talk." (Y/n) said and Jungkook opened his hand to take it.
"I hope you text me soon" he said and walked inside leaving Jungkook a blushing mess.
