Prefect's duty with your Boyfriend
Hogwarts au! TxT x Reader
A/n: I am obsessed with Harry Potter and Kpop so I will schmooz them. Tzuyu from Twice and Yeosang from Ateez are the head girl and boy. The same year liners study in the same Hogwarts Year.
Soobin
"I hate this" you murmured and pouted "Did you say something Y/n?" Head Girl Tzuyu asked.
"Why the third floor? Its scary" you whispered to her
"Don't worry" Yeosang, the Head boy said, I put you a partner and winked, leaving you blushing as no other than your boyfriend walk to your side.
"Don't worry babe I'll protect you" Soobin said as he grabbed your hand and walked to the stairs. Navigating throught the changing stairs while talking about classes, when you reached the floor almost in sync the two of you pulled out your wands and chanted "Lumos", lighting up the ends of the wand as you made your rounds.
The fact that there were so many pictures in the corridor makes it more creepy but Soobin would hold your hand firmly through out the walk untill you reach to the stairs again. After making sure the whole floor is empty and okay the two of you walk back. Not before he steal a few kisses in the abandoned hallway though.
He would walk you to the dorm if you're from different houses or walk back to your dorm hand-in-hand.
Yeonjun
I bet he would be the one to ask for the two of you to be placed in the duty together, he'd go as far as bribing Yeosang with chicken he'd steal from the kitchen. Tzuyu would give you a knowing smirk as the two of you would walk away to do your duty.
Of course duty does come first and you'd take the round quickly before he shoves you inside one of the empty classrooms and picks you are sets you on the desk and stand between you legs for a hot makeout session. At times he'd bring chocolates he brought from his dorm but he'd made sure you would share.
Night patrol with this boy would always be like a little date. Being in the senior years it is difficult to always make time for each other but atleast this bit would be the time for just the two of you.
Yeonjun is the kind of prefect who would give any lurking student 3 chances. He'd leave them the first two rimes they are caught by warning, but a third time and they'd be reported to Headmistress Weasley immediately.
Beomgyu
He wont listen or move unless Tzuyu would simply give in and exchanges someone else to put him and you together. Being busy the whole day Beomgyu makes sure that he can get you all for himself to annoy the hell out of you.
Imagine walking through the hallways of 4th floor with your boyfriend talking to him and suddenly notice that Beomgyu is silent for too long, only to turn around and see that he's not there. In panic, you frantically looked around and increased your wand flare "Lumos maxima" you chanted and called for him "Gyu? Gyu? Beomgyu?"
Suddenly he appears from behind a pillar scaring the wits out of you and pushes is palm on your mouth to muffle your scream. He then realises how scared you were and a string of apologies and kisses would follow instantly.
However, patrolling with him was fun especially if you find any students lurking, it was so fun ti watch Beomgyu interrogate the student as to why they were out of their dorms at such sn hour.
Taehyun
This guy has subtle ways of showing various feelings and thus, he'd feel extremely jealous if you were put for the night patrol duties with any other prefect. So, he made sure to secretly tell Yeosang to pair him with you. While, you were more than happy to be able to spend more time with your boyfriend outside the study hall. Strolling through the hallways at night under the occasional moon lit passages is actually really nice.
The two of you talk about anything and everything, how he and Yeonjun wrote a new song about butter beer, or how you found this really good book in the senior section of the library. It almost felt like s date, holding hands. This is a time he looks forward to everyday to be able to spend time without the chaos he calls friends or other students
However, Taehyun gets really angry if this peaceful time was interrupted specially by any lurking student. If he found them may Merlin save them from his wrath because he will drag them to report them that instance and he'd make sure they are punished no matter what house.
Heuning-Kai
He is a sweet heart like always, he'd primarily try to convince Yeosang and Tzuyu that you didn't need to patrol as you were tired him being ready to take up double responsibility only for being shut by you. You both are a beloved power couple of your year and even the Head boy and girl appoint you to duties together. Heuning-kai, would always make sure if you're okay, would ask if you're cold or warm. You find him so cute that can't help but just coo at him sometimes.
The two of you really enjoy these walks during the night as you love to explore the corridors. Or at times act like thise muggle spies holding up imaginary guns in your hands. Other times you would walk around, randomly pressing kisses on one another.
Heuning-Kai is the kind of prefect to give 2 chances for any lurking students. He'd make them understand the first time. If he found them 2nd time then, he would personally write take them to Yeosang and Tzuyu.

A/n: I got a few inspirations from here and there to write this.
Summary: Hybe High School is very known for it's high selectivity of accepting students, they only accepted students with some talent other than academic. Y/n is a newly accepted student, chosen for dance and taekwondo, lets see what happens when she crosses paths with whom the other students call the school nerd.

You were almost at the entrance of Hybe High School, the school of your dreams.
HHS was one of the most prestigious schools in South Korea, that selected students based on their talents and not academics. They took auditions and helped in making the talents better. They also helped in getting in into different entertainment companies. You had gotten in after your 2nd try and you were proud if yourself, even though your parents weren't very keen on your decision to move away from home, they still supported your decision and respected it.
You entered the premises and went to the office to get your schedule and locker. On your way out you collided with someone. You quickly apologised to see a cute guy in glasses. The guy kept in mumbling strings of apologies and you help him pick up his books.
"It's ok. I'm Yn btw, I'm new here" you said
"I know. I mean not like I was stalking or something, your face just seemed knew, not like I know-"
"I understand. It s okay um?" You waited as you still didn't know his name.
"Beomgyu" he said giving a shy smile that you reciprocated "Do you need help to go around there's still a good 20 minutes left before the first class"
"Could you help me find my locker?" You asked.
"Sure" he said and checked your number "Its 4 lockers from mine, come I'll show you" he chirped and lead the way, on the way you got to know that Beomgyu is a student of musical arts and by the way he talked seemed like he was a really good student. As you walked down you noticed, every locker was designed and decorated uniquely, probably by their owner and you decided that you'll have to come up with something soon.
And as promised, Beomgyu dropped you off to your first class, with a promise to have lunch together where he will introduce you to his friends. You entered your biology class, and sat in one of the front benches. The teacher came in and introduced you to the class and asked to pair up, you noticed the whole classed paired but a tall skinny pale guy. You shyly went up and asked if the seat was taken to which he smiled and shook his head a no.
In due course you got to know that the guys name is Soobin, and he seemed to really know what he was doing. He even guided you and helped you alot during class. You both exchanged numbers so that you could stay in touch for homework. You found that you actually take Maths with Beomgyu and Another one of his friend named Yeonjun. You sat in the seat infront of them and Beomgyu helped and guided you everytime you had a problem. The next was lunch so the three of you left the room together to go to the cafeteria.
You were walking away after buying luch when you heard someone call "Hey, new girl"
You cocked an eyebrow and looked at the tall guy infront of you, with sharp features. "Do I know you?" You asked Clearly irritated
"No but you could, its Lee Jeno by the way" he said. His cockiness made you feel like kicking him across the country to North Korea, but you kept the urge with in.
"I'm Yn Ln. Thank you, now if you'll excuse us" you were about to go but once again he blocked your path "Where are you going with this nerdy losers? I don't think you wanna mix with the wrong crowd" as soon as he said that you saw Beomgyu and Yeonjun tense up.
"I think I am capable enough to decide that on my own. Thank you and if you block my path once again you'll regret it" you said and walked away with The two boys to a corner table.
"Sorry. Jeno and his goons can be like that, but you should be carefull, they can be dangerous" Yeonjun said his features laces with concern.
"Oh, they haven't seen danger yet" you said smirking.
And then three more boys pilled in and sat one of them being Soobin.
"Soobin!" You cheered
"Hey! Yn!" He chirped back
"You know each other" Beongyu asked.
"We are in the same biology class" you explained.
Then Beomgyu introduced that amoung the other two one was Taehyun and the taller one was Huening-kai. You had a blast with the boys. Turns out Yeonjun and you share the same class for Hip-hop as well, and alot the boys in general as they also got to know you.

1 week later
You were walking down to one of the classes when you felt someone block you way, which you looked up to see Jeno.
"Hey Ynie~" he chirped "Remember me?" He asked
"Nuh-uh, I don't have the habit of clogging my mind up with thrash" you said cocking your eyebrows.
"Why you" he was about to chide but a voice broke your attention
"Jeno! Stop disturbing her, you jerk!" You see Beomgyu run to for a wall between you and Jeno. 'Stuoid boy, I was handling it myself' you thought.
"Beomgyu" you started but was cut short.
"You think a loser like you can fight me?" Jeno sId and before you could react he pushed Beomgyu away, as he tumbled on the floor.
"Beomgyu!" You shouted, and that was the last straw. Jeno was about to reach for your wrist but you held his and twisted it with force. Now this was something he wasn't expecting. After all he didn't know that along with dance, you were also a well trained Taekwondo fighter.
You pushed him away and set your books down to check up on Beomgyu, who said je was fine. That was when Jeno ran and tried to launch a punch only for you to grab him and hold him in a head lock and slam and pin him to the ground, by then there was a crowd and the teachers piled him. You explained everything to them, how Jeno was harassing you and your friends.
Soon you saw the rest of the 4 boys run to you both and hugged the two of you. Even Beomgyu was amazed to see you fight. He had later described the fight to the others in your absence, with a blush dusting his face.
"Yn how did you do that?" Beomgyu asked in amaze.
"Uh, I am a state level Taekwondo fighter" you said fidgeting with your fingers.
"Wah! Now I know never to poss Yn off" Huening-kai said
"Not if you want to go home in one piece" Taehyun said joking. And all of you laughed.
As for Jeno, he recieved ages of detention and councelling.

1 month later
You and the boys were really close now you practically did things together, along with Jisu who was Soobin's cousin, it was good to have another girl in the group. And you guys hung out together.
"I really like how the boys got confident around you." Jisu said as you both sat down in your usual spot for lunch.
"I'm glad I could help all the 5 of them are so talented, I don't know why they don't act the part?" You said.
"They are shy, a part of the reason why I was generally left alone and could hang out with them much was cause I noticed they seemed uncomfortable around me, but then you came along and they themselves approached me. You literally saved me from being a loner" She said
"That's nonsense, they love you they just needed a boost and you are a lovely human and I love you" you said
"Aww. I love you too but I wonder where those guys are" she said and you wondered the same. Suddenly you saw Hyunjin a guy from your dance class.
"Yn, Jisu You should go to the courtyard now! Jeno... The guys" he said huffing as he probably ran all the way here. And no sooner than he said completed you and Jisu ran full speed towards the courtyard. To find a crowd
You and Jisu pushed through to the front to find, the 4 of your friends held by 4 guys and Beomgyu surrounded by 3 more. You felt your blood boil te watch all these cowards talking and stading but none coming forward to help them.
"You all are NOTHING but nerds! And you" he pointed at Beomgyu saying "you're the greatest nerd of them all. Look at you, always giving her heart eyes, you think nobody knows? Or do you think she'll feel the same for you cause she pities you and hangs around you guys. I bet she regrets her decision" Jeno spat and that was it
"Why don't you ask her yourself you jerk!" You shouted and kicked him on the back and threw him down to the ground.
He was about to move but Jisu steped up and pinned him down and said "One move and I break you bloody arm". Yes, Jisu was in Taekwondo with you, you've also known her from meeting her at a few tournaments and thats how the two of you became friends so quick.
You recognised the other two to be Mark and Lucas. You were about to punch Mark but he put up his hands. "No no! Please don't we only took part because Jeno asked us"
"Boys!" Lucas shouted and the four left your friends. And were about to walk away when you said "Aren't you forgetting something?"
The 6 of them looked at you quizzically and you said "Apologise to my friends!" You shouted.
And the four bowed down and did that and you gave them a warning to never be seen around you are your friends.
You and Jisu ran to check up on your friends. The 4 seemed fine but Beomgyu had a bruise on his arm. You hugged the boy tighly who mumble a string of thank yous.
"What would we do without you" Heuning-Kai said. You shook your head and said "What would I do without you? I'd be stuck clueless with those jerks" you said.
"Anyway he was right. What are we just nerds. Specially me I'm the greatest nerd" Beomgyu said.
"And so what if you are?" You asked.
"You heard everything he said, why are you saying that? You know what I mean!" Beomgyu says.
"Gyu" you said walking close to him "I've had a crush on you ever since I crash landed on my butt colliding with you" you and the rest chuckled abit.
"You're just saying that" he said "I have nothing on me, why would you have a crush on me?" He asked looking into your eyes.
"Gyu you're one of the smartest people I know, all of you guys actually" you looked around and told them and looked back at Beomgyu and grabbed his face "You're so tallented and your so cute! What if you're a nerd? You are my nerd" and with that you crashed your lips to his. You felt a smile creep to his face as he kissed you back with the same force and passion and his hands slipped to your waist pulling you close.
You both pulled away and he connected your foreheads. "Are we dating now?" He asked looking into your eyes with his innocent and puppy once.
As expected after that stunt Jeno was expelled.

You kept knocking at your door but Beomgyu wont open.
"BEOMGYU! I SWEAR I'LL KILL YOU IF YOU DON'T OPEN!"
"WAIT FOR 5 MORE MINITES! PLEASE!" you heard him shout from inside and you paced up and down outside the door.
Yes, you came home from a late Taekwondo Practice to find that your appartment was already unlocked by your boyfriend who had a spare key and he didn't let you in. He literally pushed you out with the help of Yeonjun and Taehyun who said that they had a good reason and you've been here, locked out of your own appartment for the last 25 minutes. You were about to knock again but watched Yeonjun and Taehyun step out and tell you to go inside. You walked in and closed the door, to find the inside all dark except the light coming from the drawing room.
You walked to the door closely and the scene made you stop at the moment. The whole room was decorated in fairy lights and a small cake sat on the middle.
"Happy 6 months anniversary Babe" You heard Beomgyu's voice and you made out his silhouette on the couch and as you went near he switched in another lamp, now bringing his features into full light, and to saw you were in awe was an understatement. Your jaw didn't open, it was gone!
There sat your lovely boyfriend no specs, in all black and a new hair color, and your favourite flowers in hand.
You rushed to him and just gazed him up and down in awe. "does it look bad? Is it too kuch? Oh God I told Yeonjun-"
"No no! You just look gorgeous!" You said hugging him tightly.
"I'm glad you like it" he said holding you tight
"I love it babe" you said.
And the two of you cut the cake and suddenly, you had a plan in mind "You've got some cake on your face" you said
"I do? Where?" He asked in innocently
"Right here" you said applying the cream in your finger on the side of his lips.
"Oh I think you're gonna have to get it for me" he said with a smirk, if anyone saw Beomgyu bere right now with this demeanor they wouldn't believe that this is the same guy at school, but you're here and you dig the duality.
You got close to him and licked the cream of him and that was enough time for him to grab you and pull you towards himself attaching his lips to yours. You both devoured each others lips with the same hunger and you tangled your hands behind is neck and tug at his long locks lightly, your tongues brushing against each other fighting for domination.

How they comfort you when you are upset

A/n: Lol I don't have much friends or someone to comfort me and I'd really love to have someone. Idk if you can classify this as angst but this might make some people sad.
Yeonjun
"Y/n-ah!" You heard you Yeonjun's voice "Where are you?" He whined as he walked through the semi dark appartment switching on the lights. "There you are" he said in relief as he found you face red, eyes bloodshot red due to crying, features still trembling.
"J-jun" you said in a soft voice, looking at him with eyes and it physically hurt him to see you this way. You were generally the chirpy one who always partnered with him on his chaotic deeds so seeing you like that, sitting on the bathroom floor, crying for hours, broke him. He rushed to hug you, and you hugged him back almost clinging to him for dear life. He'd hug you tighter "lets get you up and to the bed okay?" He'd say before pulling away and pulling you up by your arms and taking you to the bed where he'd wrap you up and hold you close, feeding you chocolates and ice cream, talking about how what happened could have happened to anyone and it wasn't specifically your fault. He'd look into your eyes and say "It's okay, you tried you best, it wasn't enough so you try again and this time you will overdo yourself from last time and succeed"
"I believe in you" he'd say and hug you as you'd shed silent tears and he'd simply let you cry it out.
Soobin
Shutting people out, that's a habit of yours, when you are upset, your mind keeps telling you 'Noone will understand you'. Soobin knows that and he's been there, waiting for you to come to him but that was in the past. That is why here the tall guy is sitting at the edge of your bed as you sob out on his shoulder.
He knows what it's like to be alone and he also knows you'd do the same for him. So, he would just be there ready to listen when you talk. He would wait patiently unless you've cried yourself out or spoken to him "It's okay to cry, do not bottle your feelings" he'd say and he'd just run his big hands, on your arms in a soothing manner and to make you feel that no matter what happens, no matter who come he, would always be there for you. "I will not let you shut me out and cry alone, you're stuck with me" he would assure you.
He'd try to act cute to get a reaction from you, smiling to himself like an idiot when you give in. He'd go as far as to force you out of bed and sober you up to take you for a stroll, or for a run of your favourite dessert/food. He'd sing for you as you both would be sitting alone at your favourite roof top feeling the cold night breeze against your face.
Beomgyu
This guy is a comedy himself, but the moment he'll see your face or watch you rush out of the room, he'd follow you. He'd probably find you in a secluded area, breathing heavily, trying your best not to break down. But one "Y/n" from him and all your controls would break and he'd rush to hug you.
He is not the best with words so he'll let his actions speak louder. He'll stay quiet, scared that he might make things worse by saying something wrong. He'd simply draw comforting patterns on your back as you bowled out your eyes, probably getting his t-shirt wet, but he wouldn't care, you are the most important one right now. He'd wait untill you would be ready to speak.
He'd try his best to recall some stupid jokes that you liked and tell them to you and you'd surely end up laughing leading to Beomgyu smiling at you like an idiot. Then telling him what happened, while he listens closely.
Taehyun
"What's up, loser" he'd say taking a seat beside your curled up body. No he doesn't mean it, it's just his way of kinda testing the waters. Only to make you sob a bit harder and his eyes would go wide. You know Taehyun isn't much of a person for physical love, so even you'd be a bit shocked when he'd hug you, but you'd shift into his embrace none the less.
"It's fine, trust me, we'll fix it together" he assure you as he'd rub soothing circles on your back. "What if it can't be fixed?" You'd ask looking at him with big teary eyes. "Then we'll do it all over again" he'd say looking damn into your eyes with a reassuring smile. He would stay beside you the whole time, be it hours even.
He would have finally ordered your favourite food and force you to eat it. Then he'd talk to you in deep with what happened. The two of you would walk through every detail and steps and he'd help you figure out exactly what things might have gone wrong and where are the weak points. He'd help you figure out exactly where the points of improvement are.
Heuning-Kai
He has always been your comfort person, the person you can go to when you're upset or anything really. He'll always be there for you to support you, to cheer you up and to help you get back on your feet. Hence, when he'd get to know from a common friend that they saw you upset he'd rush to call you dropping everything else.
"Y/n! Y/n! Are you okay?" He'd ask searching your eyes, and he'd almost feel his own heart break seeing you so down. Being the affectionate person he is, he'd spread his arms wide for you to confide into him as you cry even harder. He'd hold you tighter as he'd feel your body shake from the amount of hurt you've endured. No, he won't ask you what's wrong, he'll just let you cry it all out, silently he won't even utter a single word and just hold you and run his fingers through your hair in a calming manner. He won't ask you because he knew you'd tell him yourself when you're ready.
And finally when you do, he'd still hold you as you speak your mind out, he'd let you be vulnerable and catch you and would want to keep you safe. He would assure you that it will all be fine, that all this will ultimately lead to a greater good. When you'd be insecure he'd tell you how well you've done in other things before and how he knows you'll get through this as well and he'd be right beside you to cheer you on.

Yeonjun
He is an impatient guy, specially when it comes to you, but he's not stupid. He knows well enough that you could handle any situation well on your own. But did it irritate him to the bone to find that the guy that's been trying to flirt with you all night, even after you telling him she was taken tried to make moves. And that was it, he'd rush to your side hitting a punch square at the guy's jaw. With an apologetic last look he'd hold your hand and walk away.
Soobin
Soobin is generally a calm guy, he is. He is also a very thoughtful and considerate guy but that all flew out of the window the moment he saw a guy flirting with you. The sign of disgust on your face was evident and he felt proud of himself. But, he would get really pissed at the persistency of the guy so bring the competitive guy he is, he'll take is best resort. He will rush to you and hug you from behind while landing a kiss on your cheek. That was enough to show that you're his.
Beomgyu
This guy is completely spontaneous. He won't leave your side for much long. So he'd be really pissed to find that the moment he left you were cornered by a hyena. Of course you were pretty but everyone knew you were with him, then hiw the hell can anybody dare to hit on you. He would be seething on fire especially to see how you were disregarding the guy's advances, but he kept on pestering you. He'd rush to your side and punch the guy directly with a "Take that you hyena. This is what you deserve when you hit on somebody's girl"
Taehyun
Now Taehyun has a lot of patience, he does, but lord forbid if he finds someone flirting with you. He would be quick to drop whatever he was doing previously. He knows you didn't give a fuck about anyone else and you love him but it still infuriated him. He would be mad pissed to a level where he'd physically walk close to you and give the person a look which warned them to back the fuck off.
Heuning-Kai
He is a calm mf, he really is. He would notice from afar if someone is eyeing you, but he wont do anything. If someone were to come up to you to flirt though he'd surely give them a stare. He would calmly corner the person alone and tell them that you were his and he doesn't like the person lurking around you. He would sure talk to you first to make sure if he read the signs right though. But he would be feeling a little self conscious after that, so you would have to give him kisses and assure him that you only have eyes for him.

However, patrolling with him was fun especially if you find any students lurking, it was so fun to watch Beomgyu interrogate the student as to why they were out of their dorms at such an hour.
Taehyun
This guy has subtle ways of showing various feelings and thus, he'd feel extremely jealous if you were put for the night patrol duties with any other prefect. So, he made sure to secretly tell Yeosang to pair him with you. While, you were more than happy to be able to spend more time with your boyfriend outside the study hall. Strolling through the hallways at night under the occasional moon lit passages is actually really nice.
The two of you talk about anything and everything, how he and Yeonjun wrote a new song about butter beer, or how you found this really good book in the senior section of the library. It almost felt like s date, holding hands. This is a time he looks forward to everyday to be able to spend time without the chaos he calls friends or other students
However, Taehyun gets really angry if this peaceful time was interrupted specially by any lurking student. If he found them may Merlin save them from his wrath because he will drag them to report them that instance and he'd make sure they are punished no matter what house.
Heuning-Kai
He is a sweet heart like always, he'd primarily try to convince Yeosang and Tzuyu that you didn't need to patrol as you were tired, him being ready to take up double responsibility only for being shut by you. You both are a beloved power couple of your year and even the Head boy and girl appoint you to duties together. Heuning-kai, would always make sure if you're okay, would ask if you're cold or warm. You find him so cute that can't help but just coo at him sometimes.
The two of you really enjoy these walks during the night as you love to explore the corridors. Or at times act like those muggle spies holding up imaginary guns in your hands. Other times you would walk around, randomly pressing kisses on one another.
Heuning-Kai is the kind of prefect to give 2 chances for any lurking students. He'd make them understand the first time. If he found them 2nd time then, he would personally take them to Yeosang and Tzuyu.

"Yeaaah" you cheered as you watched Yeonjun zoom down the track leaving the challenger far behind eating dust. You cocked an eyebrow and side eyed the chick that was accompanying him, where the smugness now?, You thought. With ease Yeonjun touched the finish line and stopped the bike and you walked to him, intertwining your hands behind his head as he pulled you close by your waist. You heard yelling and turned to find the losing biker grumbling. He rushed towards Yeonjun, pushing you away, but you reacted just in time and held his hand, immediately twisting it behind his back. Your assistant Ryujin pulled out her gun and pointed at him. He froze.
"You thought you could touch my boyfriend in front of me?" You said now turning him as your men walkin to hold him. "Take him away and put him on the banned list, also find his whore and do the same'' you said and walk to Yeonjun. "Are you okay?" You asked, "I should be asking YOU that!" He said "I've told you I can fight" he pouted. "I know you can fight, but I don't want you to," you said, kissing his cheek. "You get ready for the next set, I'll go check with a few VIPs okay?" You informed him and walked away with Ryujin at tow.

It was after two more races when Yeonjun finally sat down to rest for sometime. He suddenly felt a hand on his arm. "Hey" a coy voice said, "sorry, why are you here?" He said flinching away. "Oh don't be like that, I could give you a better night than that harsh girl friend of yours" she said looking at him with fake coy eyes while she twirled her hair.
"You know you really shouldn't be doing this" he said, plucking her hands off himself gingerly and stepping back. "Leave me alone." he said and was about to turn around but the girl touched his shoulder and stopped him, and before he could react. The sound of the safety of the gun was heard and a cold metal touched the back of the chick's head.
"I thought he asked you to back off. Hands off my man bitch" you said. The chick stopped in her tracks and cowered in front of you as you put the gun back and signaled the security to take her away. "You do know you're free to leave if you wanna" you said shrugging, looking down. "Where would I go without you?" He said and wrapped his arms around you. "Dude, any company would hire you for racing. You're an exceptional engineer and mechanic" you said, trying to hide the pain it took to say these words to him. But he must know you don't wanna hold him back. "I don't even want to," he said, rocking you in his arms. An idea came to your mind as you smirked and asked. "You. Want me to show you?" He asked.

"Are you missing your pretty little assistant?" came the voice through the phone. Indeed neither of you had seen Ryujin since the morning and her phone wasn't reachable either. "Wtf? Whoever you are. If you hurt her-"
All your staff looked at you in alarm. You signaled them to clear the room. Your security personnel Taehyun and Chan looked alarmed.
"I have no interest in hurting this pretty little thing. Cancel the deal and come and get her alone. She's dead if you don't maintain either of the two" they said and an image was sent to your phone, it was Ryunjin. Tied up to a chair, passed out.
"FUCK!" you cursed and took one of the cars alone and left for the area they had sent the coordinates of. "Don't follow me," you told them and left.
It was in the outskirts of the town and of course secluded. You stepped out of the car and walked into the building, of course it's an abandoned factory, how cliché can these bitches be. Suddenly you felt a hit on the back of your head and everything went black.

"What?! And you let her?" Yeonjun exclaimed. "We can't talk over the boss or not obey her. So we came to you" Chan told Yeonjun. "She even took a car without trackers," Taehyun said, panicking. "Tracker!" Yeonjun said and pulled out his phone. "Please Y/n don't switch it off" Yeonjun said as the application loaded. "Please, please" he said tapping into his phone. "YESS" He said and showed the location to Them. "Let's go," he said, grabbing his bike keys. "No. No. No." Chan stopped Yeonjun, who immediately glared. "We can't lead you into danger, Y/n would kill us" Taehyun said. "Either I go alone, or you come with me" he said, locking the phone, "that's my girl's life on the line" he added. So the three set off for the location.

"The fuck do you rascals want?! Bloody bastards can't even face me head on!" You cursed as what looked like henchmen sat in front of you. You hoped that by now your personnel had figured some kinda plan out because you didn't think twice before jumping into the situation and have found yourself kinda tied up (quite literally).
"Fuck!" Dongyeon cursed, you quickly kicked him with the leg you had been trying all this time to free without these idiots noticing. You quickly grabbed the knife out of that boot with a little struggle, and freed yourself. In a moment the other three were by your side as Chan held the now silent Dongyeon on his gun point.
"Did you think you could just walkin here and get away with your little bird so easily?" another voice said from behind and Kwak Dongyeon stepped in front of you. The son of your father's former business partner.
"So it's your doing. What else do you want, I even gave you the shares you wanted" you said. "You think your petty shares can make up for my father's death?" He said bitterly. "Your father killed My dad! I brought him to justice, if he decides to suicide in the jail, that wasn't my fault! I! I made sure you and your mother are taken care of! You ungrateful bastard!" Your berating came to a halt when a crash sound was heard. Immediately bullet fires were heard, and three very familiar men rushed in. There he was your knight in shining armor or more like a shining leather jacket. Rushed in. The moment his eye fell onto you his features hardened. He kicked and disarmed and injured (making sure not killing) the men who tried to guard him as Taehyun and Chan made way for him.
"Don't!" You said as you freed Ryujin who was unconscious. Taehyun picked her up, and you turned to say "set him free. I cut ties with you, the money of the shares will reach your account and I am done with you." You said and walked away.
The moment you left the building you were pulled in a hug. "Thank God you're okay!" You heard Yeonjun mumble. "Thank you for working your brain, but" you pushed him away and hit his chest, "why would you throw yourself at the face of risk like that, these two were more than enough to take down those clowns" you said, he held you neck and pulled you into a kissed a brief one that left you wanting more and he said "I know you'd do the same. Besides, nobody touches my girl" as he climbed his motorbike revving the engine alive and you climbed on, behind him.

“Air time in 5 mins” Pd-nim called out and you made sure all the cameras were in place in the monitor and showed a Thumbs up.
“Rolling” you said. “Enter TxT in 3… 2… 1” and as soon as you said the lights revolved and the 5 cheerful boys entered the studio.
“Welcome to our new Episode of Flower Village” Pd-nim said and they cheered and introduced themselves. A pair of Fox-like sharp brown eyes found yours from the other side of the camera and a smile came to your lips. As Pd-nim queued you to start the interview.
The interview went on “…That’s a cute concept. I wonder where Yeonjun-ssi finds his inspiration from?” you read from your script. You tried your best to not get distracted by his eyes and followed it peril-lessly.
He smiled, almost a flirty smirk, at the camera but if you didn’t know you’d think his smirk was directed towards you. “I draw experiences from the world, around me dramas and stories, people even” he said and as if on you noticed Taehyun and Beomgyu smile towards you and mumbling something to each other and chuckling. A blush rushed onto your cheek and you didn’t look up for the rest of the interview, not like anyone would care who’s behind the camera anyway.
“Pd-nim, Y/n Pd-nim” You heard your name being called and you turned around to find Yeonjun rushing towards you. This man will be the death of you, you thought. “Hello Yeonjun-ssi” you greeted bowing a little (To maintain etiquette mostly). “How have you been? You look tired” he stated, more that asking “I should be asking you that, You’re the one having a comeback and a tour followed by it” you said. “Do I look tired?” he said his eyes mischievous, feigning surprise as he touched his cheek and fake-frowned. “I made sure to complete my beauty sleep, for today” he added. Your mind raced at the way he emphasised on today, did he mean what you were thinking, hoping he means?
“Ah, No no that’s not how I meant it” you said and were about to explain further but your boss called you, saving you from further embarrassment and excused yourself.

You were almost done with work and were about to leave when your coworker from the editing desk called you.

Why don’t you put the boy out of his misery?” the old man said. “what do you mean Pd-nim” you said averting your eyes towards Yeonjun who was already looking at you and smiled. “I’m old” You stopped the urge to say I know “I can read the way a person looks at someone and I think I see it clear in both your eyes” he noted with a smile on his lips. “Don’t be worry about other things so much, live in the moment” he added and winked and left.

“How many years are you gonna waste just looking at her?”
“Huh?” Yeonjun looked at Jin, confused. “We can all see the way you look at her and she at you” he said. “I’ve looked at her since the day I first saw her, have looked at her all this time yet I think somethings stopping her, Duty? Public Opinion? She almost knocked out a light and was about to fall when luckily, I held her hand and stopped the accident-”
“And saved the day” you said having heard enough “It was a harrowing day, probably one of my first shoots” I chuckled and as if on queue Jin left. Not before winking and pointing at the two of you. “I was very nervous that day” Yeonjun said, “I felt relieved seeing you”
“Seeing me knock down the lights?” you joked. “No, to know I wasn’t the only one. And that’s only grown” He added.
“Into?” You asked looking into his Sharp brown eyes. “Something I’d like to see more of” he said and smiled.
“Coffee?” you asked.
“That could be a nice start” he said and smiled.

You watched bits and pieces of the interview between packing up all the makeup supplies. You had just graduated high school, but thanks to your older sister being a full-time makeup artist for Tomorrow x Together, you were able to land an internship working closely with her. It mostly consisted of coffee runs and endless cleaning of brushes, but you knew this was the opportunity of a lifetime.
The interview went smoothly, of course. TxT had been preparing for interviews since the day they started training. Most notable was the question about the members’ first impressions of each other. Yeonjun and Taehyun told Huening Kai they thought he was cute when they first saw him, and if you hadn’t been watching him closely, you would’ve missed the brief eyeroll he gave at their answers. “Yes, yes, I know I’m cute, thank you,” he replied.
After the interview was a photoshoot, group shots first, then individuals. Huening Kai was the last to finish, leaving you alone with him in the dressing room as you carefully wiped off his makeup. The only event left on TxT’s schedule was a lengthy practice, and you wanted to make sure Huening Kai wasn’t sweating off makeup and, in doing so, causing his perfect, porcelain skin to break out. He sighed, slouching in the chair as you worked. “Something wrong?” you asked.
“No. Well, maybe.”
You hesitantly put down the wipe. “Do you wanna talk about it?”
“It’s just… everyone always tells me how cute I am, but that’s all they see. Then you have Soobin or Yeonjun, and everyone always talks about how manly and sexy they are.” Huening Kai’s lips turned out in the cutest pout you’d ever seen, and you had to bite your lip to stop yourself from smiling at the irony.
“Well, sexiness doesn't equate to manliness,” you replied, grabbing a puff and soaking it with cleansing water. "You can be cute and manly."
“Yeah, I know. They just have a different appeal, a more mature appeal. Meanwhile, I’m over here, and all my fans ask for is, ‘Aegyo! Aegyo!’”
Huening Kai sighed, putting his face in his hands. “I just don’t know how much more I can take. I know I have a baby face, but I can be sexy too, you know?”
You glanced at the ceiling and pressed your lips together to keep from snorting out a giggle. “Yeah, of course.”
Before you could stop yourself, you reached out and pinched Kai’s cheek. “But you’re just so damn cute, who could help themselves?”
“Quit it!” he said, batting your hand away, but his brown eyes danced with mischief.
You reached out and began running the puff over Huening Kai’s gorgeous skin when he caught your wrist, stopping your movements. “Do you really think that, though? That I’ll never be more than ‘The cute one?’”
The playfulness from earlier dissipated, leaving you looking into Kai’s eyes, large with earnestness. “Uh, um,” you stammered, taking a step back. “I dunno. I think people think that right now because you’re so young, but maybe as you grow older, they’ll think differently.”
“Hmmm.” Huening Kai leaned back in his chair. “You think so?”
“I know so,” you replied, zipping up your bag. “Well, you’re all finished. I’ll see you in two days for that photoshoot.”
“Right.”
You turned to leave, but had barely twisted the doorknob when Huening Kai’s voice stopped you. “Wait.”
You looked back to see him stand and slowly stalk towards you, his eyes dark and hooded. “Is that what you think of me?”
“Wh-What?”
“You think all I can be is cute for the next few years?”
“N-No, that’s not what I-”
He was so close now you could smell his cologne, some type of citrus scent mixed with mint. He towered over you, making you shrink against the door, your hand still on the knob. Kai gently placed his hands on either side of your head, trapping you beneath him, his rose-pink lips turned up in a smirk. “Still think I’m cute?” he asked, his voice low.
You couldn’t bring yourself to breathe let alone answer. Despite being in close proximity to the gorgeous members of TxT, you’d always restricted your attraction to any of them, Huening Kai in particular, to admiring them from a safe, professional distance. Now here you were, confronted with your crush head-on.
Huening Kai’s eyes bore into your own. “Because I think you’re cute.”
He leaned down, and you instinctively turned your face away. “Hyuka… Wh-What are you doing?”
Humming in response, Huening Kai pressed his lips against the skin of your neck, causing you to sigh as tingles erupted all over your body. He continued to kiss you, his lips getting closer and closer to yours, eliciting small gasps of delight from you. When you could no longer take it, you wound your hands in his soft, dark hair and pulled his face toward yours, colliding your mouth against his in the sweetest kiss.
The push and pull between your lips and his continued as he pressed you back into the door, one of his hands finding refuge on the small of your back, the other caressing your jaw. The two of you broke apart only when voices from the hall floated towards you, reminding you both where you were. You stared at Huening Kai in shock for a moment before busying yourself with packing up the rest of your makeup supplies.
“So, uh, I guess I’ll see you in a couple days,” he said.
“Uh, yeah, I guess so.”
“Hey,” he said softly, gently grasping your jaw and turning your face towards his. He stared into your eyes for a moment before smirking. “Cutie pie.”
You scoffed in response as Huening Kai opened the door. “Oh, and Y/n?”
“Hmm?”
“Don’t ever call me cute again.” His dark eyes smoldered as his eyes slowly roamed up and down your body, causing you to swallow hard.
He winked before shutting the door, leaving you to ponder what the hell just happened. Well, you knew one thing for sure. You’d never think of Huening Kai as ‘cute’ again.

A Note from Kutemouse: This one-shot is inspired by the song “PS5” that Yeonjun and Taehyun collaborated on with Salem Ilese and Alan Walker. When I first heard the song, I wasn’t sure if I liked it, but after a few listens, I came to appreciate it, and now it’s running on repeat in my head 😂 It seemed like a fun project for Yeonjun and Taehyun. I enjoyed the creative wordplay and the banter between the two voices in the song, as well as hearing the gamer’s point of view.
I can’t tell you how many people I’ve heard complain about their partners constantly playing video games. Most notable was my old roommate who complained that her boyfriend wouldn’t even bother letting her play with him. I totally get that. I’ve had partners who ignore me for their game, and it’s hella frustrating. My husband loves video games, but so do I, and he always invites me to play with him. That’s why he’s my husband 😁 A couple who games together wins together ❤️ Seems like Yeonjun needs to learn that lesson 😉

You turned your key in the lock, sighing. Finally. Holy hell, it had been a long day. Between your boss and clients giving you the runaround, you couldn’t seem to get off work before 10 pm these days. But upon coming inside your home, you wished you could’ve worked longer.
Crushed, empty cans were strewn about the floor, half-full ones perched on various furniture. A couple of grease-stained pizza boxes littered the corner, and a pile of dirty hoodies, gym shorts, and socks covered every part of the couch your boyfriend wasn’t sitting in. Even the air smelled unclean, heavy with the stench of fast food, sweat, and the sandalwood-scented cologne used to cover it all up. A cologne that could belong to none other than your boyfriend, Choi Yeonjun.
You precariously made your way through the front room, where you could just make out your boyfriend hunched over against the blaring light of the tv, to deposit your bag on the kitchen table. Dishes stained with food nearly covered its entirety, forcing you to pull out a chair just so you could have a place for your bag to sit in.
“Yeonjun!” you called out as you opened the fridge.
No response.
“Yeonjun!” you called out again, louder.
“What?” His normally playful lilt sounded annoyed.
“Where’s dinner?”
“What?!”
“Oh, for fucks’s sake-” you muttered as you headed towards the living room.
Your once-sweet, handsome-as-fuck boyfriend didn’t even turn as you walked in, his dark eyes glued to the screen, his soft, plump lips pursed in concentration. He had one headphone on still, the other perched behind his ear. You took a deep breath to calm yourself. “Yeonjun.”
“Oh, hey jagi. I didn’t realize you were home.”
You bit your lip to stop from snapping at him, letting out a huff. “Yes, I just got home. Where’s dinner?”
“I actually haven’t eaten yet. Could you order us some food?”
You scoffed. “Are you serious?”
Sensing your irritation, Yeonjun spared you a .2 second glance before returning to his game. “Yeah. We gotta eat, don’t we?”
“Fine.”
You stormed back into the kitchen and yanked your wallet from your bag. You knew the only place open at this hour was the Thai place across town, and they charged extra for deliveries so far away. “Fucking hell,” you grumbled before dialing their number. They took your order, but it wouldn’t be delivered for an hour much to the agony of your rumbling stomach.
You went and changed into pajama shorts and a tank top before deciding to clean up a bit. You loaded the pizza boxes in your arms, placing empty cans on top of them, trying to get as much of the trash cleaned up in one trip as possible. What you didn’t anticipate was the one pizza box that didn’t make it into the pile in the corner yet did end up right in your way. You shrieked as you tripped, cardboard and aluminum cascading down on your head.
“Jagi?” Yeonjun asked, not bothering to turn his head. “You alright?”
“That’s IT!” You picked yourself up and marched over to the tv, yanking the power cord out of the wall.
“Hey, what the fuck?!” Yeonjun shouted before finally noticing you.
Week-old soda dripped from the ends of your hair, staining your top, and doing nothing to quench the anger blazing in your eyes. “Yeonjun, I have HAD IT!” you bellowed. “You’ve barely looked at me for a fortnight now! Ever since you got that PS5, all you’ve done is play video games all day, every day! I understand PS5’s are hard to come by, and you’ve been anticipating this for almost a year now, but FUCK! You could at least acknowledge me when I come in from work! Or, I don’t know, order dinner? Clean up the place? Do the FUCKING DISHES?!”
Your voice rose higher and higher in volume and pitch as you ranted, finally getting the feelings you had been holding in off your chest. Yeonjun stared at you in shock, rose-red lips parted, eyes wide, headphones hanging loosely around his neck. “Jagi, I-”
“I’m not finished!” you snapped. “I don’t recall agreeing to be in a three-way relationship with you and your gaming console, Yeonjun! So you decide, it’s either me or the PS5!”
“What do you want from me, jagi?!” Yeonjun shouted back. “I’m here, aren’t I?! I’m still going to bed with you every night! “As if that makes it better!” you spat. “Just because you’re physically here doesn’t mean you’re emotionally here! Hell, you’re not even mentally here with me, you’re off in some fake world, enjoying the company of the voices in your headset over your hard-working, loving girlfriend!”
Yeonjun didn’t reply, his dark eyes boring into yours, narrow with anger. The speechlessness between the two of you grew until it pressed against your chest, causing your throat to tighten and tears to spring to your eyes. “This isn’t what I wanted,” you choked out before running to your bedroom.
You slammed the door, sliding down until you hit the floor, buried your face in your arms, and sobbed. You didn’t know how long you cried for, you just know you cried until your head ached and your eyes stung. You cried for all the time your boyfriend had wasted gaming instead with you. You cried for the mess your house was in. You cried for the hard day you had at work. But mostly, you cried for yourself. For how stupid you felt as you realized that fucking black and white box was more of a priority for Yeonjun than your relationship. If you could take it outside and run it over along with your love for him, you would.
After your sobs had subsided, you wrapped a blanket around yourself and curled into a ball on the bed, your entire being numb. The door opened, casting a strip of light over your face. You groaned, turning away. “Jagi?” Yeonjun’s voice was filled with remorse. “Jagi, I’m sorry.”
You didn’t bother replying, tightening the blankets around you so Yeonjun couldn’t see the pain on your face. He sat on the bed beside you and stroked your shoulder, his fingers dancing over you. “You’re absolutely right,” he murmured. “I let myself get carried away, and you forced me to look around and realize what the hell I’ve been missing. You’ve been the best girlfriend ever, buying me the PS5 and letting me spend hours on it… And I haven’t even bothered returning the favor.”
You sniffled, fresh tears running down. Yeonjun pulled you upright, concern lacing his dark eyes. “Jagi, please,” he said, running his thumb over your cheek. “Please don’t cry. I’m so, so sorry. I can’t believe what an asshole I’ve been.”
“I didn’t think you loved me anymore,” you sobbed, letting yourself melt into his arms. “You’ve never gone so long without paying attention to me.”
“I know, I know, I’ve been a total jerk,” he said, his voice cracking.
You sat there for a while, letting him hold you as you cried a bit more. Yeonjun chuckled darkly. “What?” you asked, sitting up and drying your eyes.
“I was just thinking,” he said, stroking your cheek. “No matter how much I game, the greatest prize I’ll ever win… Is you.”
You finally allowed yourself to look into Yeonjun’s eyes. “Really?”
The corner of his mouth turned up. “Really.”
Then his lips were suddenly on yours, enveloping them in a kiss. You hungrily devoured each others’ mouths, lips pushing and pulling at each other until you were practically dizzy. “Fuck, I love you,” he murmured, pulling you in for more.
“I love you too,” you groaned between kisses.
He smiled, relishing the effect he had on you still. “And jagiya?”
“Mmmm?”
“If it were a choice between you and the PS5, you know I’d always choose you, right?”
You smiled and blushed, burying your face in his shoulder. It took two seconds for you to lean back, wrinkling your nose in disgust. “Well, I know how you can make it up to me… Starting with a long shower.”
Yeonjun smirked. “Only if you take one with me.”
You playfully smacked his arm, rolling your eyes. “I’m serious!” he protested. “After our shower, I’ll clean our place up, and then? I’m gonna teach you how to play.”
Your eyes widened. “Seriously?”

“L/n Y/n! We need you in the office as soon as possible”
You heard the intercom come on and call. Having been on your break whenever you heard the message deliberately be delivered, you were a bit annoyed because it was in fact your time off… but you were a cop so it was your priority.
Walking the hallway, you reached your destination and stood at the door, taking a deep breath and preparing yourself mentally before entering the office. You weren't sure what to expect whenever you were called to go to your bosses office, especially when it was through the intercoms.
But this time, you had an idea of what you might've been called in for… and when you went into the room to see all the scattered paperwork and files, it only confirmed your suspicions furthermore.
“There you are.” Your boss muttered, putting down the files that he had been holding.
Bowing, you walked closer to the desk and stood over it, watching your boss stand up from his chair to be at eye level with you, despite the fact you still had to lift your head to look at the tall man eye-to-eye.
“I apologize for taking longer than I was supposed to. I assume this is an urgent matter, yeah?” you asked, looking at the files that were scattered across the desk, picking some up to investigate them yourself.
“Very urgent.” He responded.
You worked closely with the boss of your station, therefore you were promoted often, and worked on a lot of harder cases compared to your coworkers, in short, you were one of the more known officers of the area.
So when you heard the intercom come on asking you to meet in the boss’s office during your break, you knew this was serious.
“I'm sure you remember the criminal that we haven't yet been able to catch?.” Your boss asked, you thought for a moment before looking at him.
You glanced around the room and sighed, “I'm gonna need you to be more specific with what you say boss, we've had a lot of criminals in the last year.”
A few of the other close police who were also in the room glanced at you due to your informal response, you were among the top police so they couldn't correct you on your manners either.
Looking back at the chief, seeing his small, almond eyes as he let out a small sigh as he sat back down behind his desk, never breaking eye contact as he signaled you to the chair across from him. Raising an eyebrow you walked back to his direction and took a seat.
“The one that we quoted as the ‘Mastermind.’”
You felt your heart sink at his words, recalling the incidents that had happened with him as you remembered the gruesome crime scene that took place one year ago.
“He's back!?” You questioned, feeling your head begin to spin as the flashbacks replayed over and over again in your head, going silent and beginning to dread having to see that anonymous man who you were never able to see face-to-face.
How could you be such a coward to someone who was anxious to show his face and instead wore a mask everywhere he went? He didn't even have a face and you were afraid of him, that truly made you ashamed of yourself as a high rank cop.
“We assume, there's been some recent cases of gambling, a body was discovered near a lake too.”
Heart beating, you grabbed your chest and bent down, your forhead had sweat as you looked down at your bosses paperwork that read ‘Choi Soobin.’
Choi Soobin, the now Police Headchief and of course, your boss, started out as just any normal citizen.. not that you could really call him normal since he went to the top schools of the city. He'd always been a smart student.
He himself, had also suffered by fault of the ‘Mastermind’ and his men, who came and ruined his everything, crushed it.
The worst part was that you didn't even know what connection the ‘Mastermind’ had with any of his victims, you couldn't find anything that all his victims had in common that led him to murder them.
“Have you informed Yeonjun yet..?” You questioned, looking at Choi Soobin from across the table, reading the pity in his eyes for putting such a weight on you. He knew that it'd be hard for you to face someone like the anonymous ‘Mastermind' again after a year. Have to see him behind such a mask after all the trauma he inflicted on you.
“I have, he showed a similar reaction to that of yours, and since you both are my best I will be incharging you both with the case.”
You gulped and then nodded, excusing yourself from the room and taking your leave. How could you ever forget that night? How dare he come back after disappearing for more than 365 days, and just as you were starting to erase all those bad thoughts and beginning to think of him as dead, he just dared to reappear in your life like thi-
“You look like you've just seen a ghost. Looks like hearing of his return hurt your high ego a little bit.” You heard a familiar male voice say, making you look up and see the one and only Choi Yeonjun looking down at you.
“Not the time-” you muttered, seeing him bring his hand to his chin, making a thinking posture.
“If I knew it would bring your ego down so low I might as well have invited him to drink some coffee-”
“Not the time!” You yelled in a joking pitch, trying to get him to shut up and stop making those types of jokes especially when he knew how much you despised that man who remained faceless.
You argued with Yeonjun for a moment until the conversation became more serious, making you guys make your way to the table that was held mainly for discussions, which had luckily been empty by the time you both made it.
“If he's gonna strike again, where do you think it'll be this time..?” You asked in a monotone pitch, keeping a serious and steady voice as you waited for his response.
His hand was placed under his chin as he rested his head on it, being unable to think of a definite answer of what he could possibly tell you.
He placed his finger on the chart that highlighted a specific area of the town, moving it over to the forest that held the river where the last body happened to be found.
“Whoever he is, we know he's not alone. I can't help but notice that every single one of his crimes revolves around this certain area.” He said, motioning his finger in a circle around the chart before pointing right at the middle.
You thought about his comment for a moment before verifying, “You're right, I never noticed that-” you muttered to yourself, writing it down on a brand new page in your case notebook that you always carried around in case of things like this, “Do you think he could be inspired by some of the older, more notorious killers? Like the ghost doctor murderer?” You asked, while continuing to write the new discovery onto your notebook.
Yeonjun thought for a moment, before questioning you, “The ghost doctor murder? Like the one who broke into a hospital and killed an un-belonging ghost doctor who had been performing a surgery on his patient?” you nodded to his response and added, “They have a few similarities, they both stayed in the same area somewhat. The ghost doctor killer didn't try to hide the evidence of a murder, he just cleaned up the scene and fled.”
“But there's a difference.” Yeonjun added, “The ghost doctor killer fled and was never found, we don't even have an identity and ever since his disappearance in 2003, we have no information regarding him or his whereabouts.”
You nodded in response and shook your head, “I feel like there's a connection there, but I truthfully don't have a reason to believe so.” Yeonjun looked back down at the paperwork and sighed, “Yeah well, we can't disregard gut feelings.”
You nodded in agreement and the investigation carried on, not like it really mattered since at the end of the day, the two of you still ended up in a dead end. No leading connections, hints, explanations, nothing… and there was nothing you could do about it but leave it at that and go home exhausted with the thought that you were yet again, back at square one.

“Do you have them yet?”
Taehyun left what he was reading and looked at Kai “When do you need them by? I have them but they're not ready yet.”
Huening sighed, unknowing of what to respond with.
“I need them immediately, I need to know who we need to deal with next.”
A worried look came across Taehyun’s face as he looked over at Huening Kai, “You're already gonna carry out the plan!?” Taehyun asked, Kai wasn't the type of person to cramp up the crimes he commited, so he couldn't understand why he was in such a rush to do so now.
“Why of course, make them commit their sin of gambling and watch them realize that they have a debt too big in order to pay, works every time.” Taehyun noticed a smirk creep onto Huening’s face as he looked down at the table that they used.
Taehyun slightly frowned, trying to find the best way to word his question in order to not get in trouble with Kai, “I don't really know if I'm allowed to ask but, if you only kill people who have history, what did she do?”
Kai wasn't too sure himself, his men had just told him that she was a serious case and was probably gonna attack again soon. Huening couldn't let another innocent life go to waste, especially when they had so much left to explore.
Therefore he knew he had to act fast, and Taehyun understood the message, “Alright, I'll go tell Beomgyu then.” Taehyun said, turning and making his way out of the room after getting Kai’s permission for it.
Huening knew this was wrong of him. He knew this made him a horrible person because just what human could be capable of something so gruesome such as murder. He knew that the police were after him and he didn't have much more time to act as the police finally began to take his case seriously.
He found himself chuckling through his inner thoughts, thinking “If only they knew.”
Truthfully, if only they knew… he wouldn't need to struggle so much with keeping his real identity from getting leaked, in his head, he wasn't a bad person. If you moved past the amount of people he killed he wasn't a bad person, yet no one other than his close relatives could see that he wasn't so bad.
Huening Kai was a well mannered citizen, and although he was the youngest in the casino, everyone under him had no choice but to obey him, they knew the consequences if they didn't, other than the amount of people he'd killed, he hadn't committed any crimes and his name was relatively clean. If the police suspected anyone, he'd be the last person on the list, and even if they did, he was the type of citizen that the police would try so hard to excuse, putting a dozen of reasons on why he couldn't possibly be the culprit.
And yet, he didn't just murder anyone, the police might be after him but he made the world a safer place by eliminating those who ruined the well being of others.
He was so deep in thought that he didn't even realize Taehyun was back with Beomgyu. He only realized after the two of them waved their hands in front of his face in an attempt to distract him from his trance and bring him back to earth.
“Earth to Hyuka-” Beomgyu muttered in an annoyed pitch, holding the necessary documents that Kai asked for.
“You're back..?” He asked in a low tone, looking up at the two of them who took a seat on two random chairs that were around the room, Taehyun sighed as he responded, “Beomgyu was being really loud on the way here, maybe fell one or two times-”
“I did not!!” Beomgyu corrected, to which Taehyun simply just ignored, “I'm surprised you didn't hear us making our way here since it was probably audible for over 20 miles.”
“I was not that loud!” Beomgyu argued, disliking Taehyun's selection of words because it made him come off as uneducated, Taehyun silenced Beomgyu as he rolled his eyes and crossed his arms, placing the paperwork on Kai’s desk.
He had been resting his cheek on his hand, simply waiting for them to finish arguing, although he did dislike the amount of noise, he let it slip past because he genuinely found their arguments funny, hearing them ramble on about practically nothing. “Y'all done?” He asked, making both Taehyun and Beomgyu bow in apology for their immature behavior and go back to serious mode, looking at him as he lifted his head high and looked through the paperwork that had been brought and placed on his desk.
He opened up the files and looked at the name. He knew one thing for sure… he recognized this face, having gone viral multiple times for her cases, yet never found, good at disguising her true face, so therefore it remains unknown, techniques so well thought out that he just had to use some of them for his own crimes…
“The red cloak lady, an urban legend which became a reality whenever someone who wasn't in their right mind took inspiration from the old folktale.” you repeated, looking over at Yeonjun who was just as confused as you were.
“So the red cloak lady originated from a fairytale?”
“Folktale” you corrected as Yeonjun brushed you off and reiterated, “Wasn't that tale written over 100 years ago?” You shrugged and looked it up, “it definitely didn't originate here that's for sure.”
Yeonjun nodded, taking notes of what you had read, “Wasn't her last active case like over a decade ago? She was never caught and we have no idea on who she is, so she's probably already dead, don't you think?”
You agreed, doing your own personal research, having zero clue on what you were even looking for and at least trying to find one simple fact that could uncover something about the culprit, anything, even if it was what he had for breakfast you'd be more than happy. Yet… nothing, you were still at square one and unable to move forward.
“Ugh- i'm so done with this…” you muttered, slamming your head onto your arms which laid flat on the table, resting your eyes to get a break from reality. Neither you or Yeonjun could do anything until the ‘Mastermind' pulled his next move and the thought of that just made you sick, thinking about all that wasted time.
And wasted time was all that ran through your head upon thinking that you couldn't act until the 'Mastermind's next move, but you were dead wrong if you thought you could take it easy until then…
The ear piercing alarms rang across the entire station, chaos being heard from outside the room as the rest of the cops currently on shift wondered what was going on. You knew immediately what this was… you never heard the alarms unless it was a serious and current break in of a building, normally important, something such as a bank, or vip home. There was only one person on the suspect list, and if it happened to be that one person, you'd finally be able to carry on with the investigation. Your coworker ran into the room, slamming the door open.
“L/n!? Yeonjun!? Are you both in here!?”
Yeonjun stood up from his chair and walked over to the familiar face, taking them by the shoulders demanding answers, “What's going on!?”
“We don't know! But someone broke into an important representative's home and we don't know who it is or why they broke in!” Your coworker said in a panic, trying his best to keep his voice professional and understandable.
Yeonjun bit his lip in pure frustration, among turning back to your coworker he shoved them out of the way and went to the front of the station, you speed walked forward, nodding and thanking your coworker for the alert, following Yeonjun shortly after. You made your way to the front of the station, where you saw the cop cars already parked and ready to be taken out.
You made your way to an assistant who worked closely with Soobin, he normally had information regarding your investigations and crimes, if anyone knew what you were getting yourself into, it was him.
“Wooyoung- what's going on..?” You asked, turning your head to face the man who had been writing on his notepad.
Wooyoung sighed, which wasn't a good sign and it made you quite uneasy, “It's that bad…? Please tell me it isn't…”
“Sorry, but it is pretty bad… I can't really tell you much because of our circumstances-” Wooyoung muttered, as if he was trying to avoid being heard. It was unusual behavior for him because you were already used to his yelling and screaming. Tilting your head in confusion you looked around before feeling your head automatically get snatched back.
“What the heck is wrong with you!?”
“Don't look around too much-” Wooyoung whispered in an aggressive tone which made your head turn fully to him, you watched Yeonjun get into the car and look over at you. His way of telling you “Hurry up!” Telepathically.
“Woo- what's going on!?”
He interrupted you before you could finish your sentence, pulling you down and practically squeezing your faces together.
“Whatever you do, don't talk loudly, if you're gonna communicate with someone do it privately and make sure you're alone. Always stay with someone- don't split up when you get inside of that mansion… and lastly, don't tell anyone I told you this”
You glanced over at Wooyoung, worry filling every corner of your expression as you attempted to put the pieces together, you gulped and muttered a small, “Why..?”
Wooyoung pulled you closer and technically whispered in your ear, his voice more stable and clearer than it had ever been…
“We're being watched- both me and you, everyone here is.”
Your gaze quickly shifted up to look at him but he pushed you away forcing you to stay quiet about the situation, you couldn't ask any questions. Not even how he was able to know that sort of information, or where the culprit was hiding.
You clicked open the car door, sitting on the cushion, more nervous and anxious than ever, your sweat was building up on your forehead, eyes watering. Maybe you were against the same criminal as a year ago, but this time he came back as a different person. He came back ready for war, not just a play battle in the park.
Worst part was that you couldn't even question Wooyoung on what he could've possibly meant by his statement, it was more than obvious but there were so many unanswered questions… How could they watch you? Why couldn't you split up upon arriving at the mansion? Why couldn't you talk out loud? What was he protecting… that made him so vague upon revealing his statement? Was it you and everyone else in the station…? Or was it perhaps someone else..?

A/N: This is a true story, I had a cocky guy come up to me exactly like that and those were exactly my answers.

You smiled at your reflection, finally ready to go out with your friends. You agreed to meet up outside their school, so you could sneak inside and just chill on the school’s playground area.
Your friends are two years younger than you, so while you are a university student, your friends are still in high school. It’s okay, though, because you love these little demons and wouldn’t trade them for the world.
You didn’t go to the same school as them, so sadly you couldn’t have met them earlier and you didn’t know their classmates, so there were many times that they talked about a person that you didn’t know.
You grabbed your stuff and started walking towards their school, since it wasn’t too far away from your house. You finally saw them outside the school and grinned at them, as they grinned back. You greeted each other and climbed up the gate’s metallic railings and got inside.
You all sat on one of the benches and talked about your days and then about random stuff. Suddenly you heard someone yell “good evening” from somewhere outside the school and you looked at your friends, confused.
One of them, Kwangsoo, recognized the voice and got up and walked towards the gate. That’s where a group of 5 guys that you didn’t know was, looking at your little group.
Kwangsoo was busy talking with one of the guys on the far left and the second from last guy from the right yelled a ‘good evening’ again. Jiyoon looked at you and Jiyoung and sighed.
“It’ll be really rude if I don’t go talk to them.” She said, got up and walked towards them. “Are we also gonna be really rude if we don’t talk to them?” you asked and Jiyoung shook her head. “No, we don’t have to talk to them.” She replied.
However, the guy didn’t stop and yelled a “good evening” again. You waved at him, trying to not seem rude, but not wanting to get up and go up to them.
“You don’t wanna come here and talk to us?” The guy asked and you shrugged. “Nah, there’s no need. We’re okay here.” You yelled back.
“Oh, do you really not wanna come see us?” he asked again and you sighed. This guy was really annoying and you were starting to get pissed off. After all, he was two years younger than you, he should be more respectful. And, god, you felt like a grandma after thinking of that.
You got up reluctantly and Jiyoung followed your actions. You slowly walked towards them and stood still in front of the gate, the group of the 5 guys standing outside the gate.
“Hi,” the same guy greeted and the others turned to watch your interaction, except Kwangsoo, who was busy talking with the same guy.
You were sitting really close to Jiyoung, so you didn’t know who he was talking to, but Jiyoung was quick to greet them. It was obvious from the sound of the girl’s voices that they didn’t like these guys a lot.
He suddenly stuck his hand through the gate’s railings and introduced himself. “I’m Yeonjun,” and he waited for your reply. You shook his hand, just to not leave him like that, but didn’t introduce yourself back.
“I’m not telling you my name” you said and he smirked. At the same time the guy in the middle stuck his hand out too. “I’m Taehyun” he said, expecting you to shake his hand, but you ignored it and said “Enough handshakes for today.” He pulled his hand back, embarrassed and the other guy smirked even more.
“Are you sure you don’t want to tell me your name?” Yeonjun asked and Taehyun nudged him and whispered, as if you couldn’t hear him. “It’s (Y/n)”
At the sound of your name your eyes widened. “How do you know that?” You asked, but received no reply.
“(Y/n), huh?” Yeonjun said and you sighed, defeated. “Yes.” You only said. Taehyun nudged Yeonjun again.
“You shouldn’t have done that, man. Now she knows that we know her name and she will ignore us more.” He said and you raised an eyebrow, clearly confused because what he said literally didn’t make any sense. Yeonjun dismissed his friend’s words and repeated your name a few more times and you raised your eyebrow at him.
“Are you gonna say it more times? I’m sure that no matter how dumb you are, it won’t take that many times for you to learn it.” You sassily said. You must have pissed him off so bad, but he managed to not let it show much. “Do you know who I am?” he calmly asked you.
“I don’t care”. You simply replied.
“I’m quite famous around here.” He tried again and when he saw no reaction coming from you he spoke up again. “Have you ever seen my car?” He asked and you shook your head ‘no’. “I have quite the name around here because of it. I got inside the school with it.” He said as if it was a great accomplishment. Your next words however must have really pissed him off because it was now obvious to everyone.
“I don’t give a shit about you or your car. I’m not from around here, I’m not gonna see you ever again, so I don’t know why it would matter if I knew anything about you.”
You were sure your friends were shocked at how ready you were to snap at the guy, especially since literally five minutes you didn’t know him. You must have hurt his ego because after this he dropped your conversation and said something to Kwangsoo.
The girls looked at you with raised eyebrows and turned back to Yeonjun, after hearing him bid Kwangsoo goodbye.
Your friends walked away and so did the 5 boys, Yeonjun staying behind to look at you one last time. “Bye… (y/n)” he said, no trace of any feeling coming from his voice or tone.
You must have hurt his pride, as he didn’t seem to be used to getting ignored and humbled like that. You have to admit you were quite harsh to him, but you just couldn’t stand the cockiness that was oozing out of him from the start.
Your phone buzzed from a notification and your eyes widened, seeing an account with Yeonjun’s name now following you.

It seemed incredible to him sometimes, how after everything the both of you had been through -the fights, the miscommunications, the nature of his job, both your busy schedules- you were still here.
With the comeback inching closer and his beyond packed schedule, it had been hard. There were plenty of un-answered texts, falling asleep on calls, and cancelling of dates. But moments like this felt like home to Yeonjun.
YOU felt like home to him.
You, with your hair tied back, trying and failing miserably to not cry while cutting onions, gently swaying to Epik High. You hated biting into chunks of ginger, but still added them into the pot claiming that it would build his immunity(albeit, cut into the smallest pieces possible), and turned to face him, mouthing the lyrics of the rather intense rap.
People had always said that you and Yeonjun couldn't be more different. He was always met the world head on, opening himself up to everyone he met. While you? You were far more careful, an unfortunate product of your upbringing. He was always transparent, with his feelings and with his intentions, while held your cards so close to your heart, that sometimes even you couldn't read them.
Yeonjun knew when he met you, that even though you might seem cold to most people, you were merely protecting yourself. You cared far too much, and that certainly only made you more withdrawn during confrontations, lest something was said in the heat of the moment.
But you loved him. And although Yeonjun sometimes forgot, all he had to do was look you in the eyes to remind himself. Every time his gaze met yours, he could see your truth.
"I love you, I choose you, and I will always choose you." The inner thought, you sometimes didn't express out loud enough. Even during the worst of fights, Yeonjun could see that truth, and he knew that he felt the same way about you.
So he wiped the sleep out of his eyes, and hugged you from the back, doing his best cheesy male kdrama lead impression, and sang along during the chorus.
You were still here, and you will continue to be here. Because at the end of the day, the both of you will always choose each other.
