Hey, it's probably a long shot, but any of you guys on here know what these flying wormies are maybe based on? Hebikera from Nausicaa and the centipede flies from Magician's quest both resemble a thing I'm trying to find that I'm CERTAIN I've seen elsewhere.
NEVERMIND! I found what I was looking for! They're called Sky Fish or Air rods/flying rods! (They're also in dungeon meshi I can't believe I forgot about that) God I wish they were real!!!

A lot of her personality is based on how these trees work! She's kind and hardworking, but it's not always obvious to other people what her intentions are, like how Aspen trees in real life care for eachother and tend to the forest by sending eachother and other trees nutrients below ground! She's the protagonist of my comic (that I am currently in the process of rebooting) and my brain daughter
Meet Pando, not a forest but a single tree. Every trunk of the Quaking Aspen is genetically identical & connected by a single 80,000 year old root system, making it one of the largest and oldest living entities on Earth!
Hey look I made some guys out of clay
I made some weird little guys out of clay earlier as like a creative crop rotation exercise type thing and I highly recommend it! The important part is to not care about making them perfect, just make 'em shitty and lumpy! I'll post them later once they're painted <3
