So I had this idea that the White Palace (the one in the game) is a prision made by and for the Pale King, but I never got a strong reason besides regret.

Your theory/undertanding makes so much sense, what if Pale King imprisioned himslef thinking that The Radiance would go after him and leave Hallownest alone, but it was never about that. The Radiance just wanted to be remember. So she never went after the Pale King, and his sacrifice was as useless and the Pure Vessel’s!

I have two questions, first do you believe the hollow knight was pure or not, I personally believe he was and that the wire lady is telling the truth when she talks about the idea instilled, second what do you think pk would’ve done if the radiance disappeared while he was in the beginning stages of making the vessels.

I don’t believe they were pure as the Pale King intended, but even if he could create a Pure Vessel the plan would fail anyway? It seems like the fate of Hallownest was inevitable, even for gods.

I’m from the group that thinks that PK regretted his actions, he did it because it was “the bigger good”, but if in the end the sacrifice was for nothing he would have fell nevertherless.
