BEHIND THE SCENES | 02

"Hi, Mel! Mel! Wassup Mel! Welcome back, Mel! How'd the movie go Mel?!"

Was all Mel heard as she flipped, cartwheeled, and twirled her way down the hallway of Hollywood Arts.

Mel stopped flipping into a back handstand deciding to walk on her hands and wave as she passed by people who recognized her.

Everyone knew her and her twin, she wouldn't consider herself popular more like a sweetheart/class clown between her and her twin sister Kehlani.

She had just gotten back from helping make the background props and costumes for a new movie coming out named 'Jumanji'

Continuing to walk on her hands she was quickly flipped out of the way seeing as some brunette almost stepped on her.

"Watch it, cheekbones!" Mel shouted, startling the girl causing her to drop her books.

Mel went back into her flipping, after flipping the girl off, only this time she went a lot harder and faster not being able to see where she was going with how fast she was going.

So it's not really a surprise when she accidentally flips up too high and crashes into a familiar body, fortunately, the person got a good grip on her thighs not that her boyfriend would like that...

"I'm so sorry! I wasn't watching where I was going- My boyfriend's going to kill me-" Mel rambles trying to push her hair from her face huffing when it didn't cooperate. Mel freezes at the rumbles from the guy's chest.

"Calm down ma-ma, just be careful next time, someone could have stepped on you" Beck sighs, pushing her hair from her face before scanning her body making sure she wasn't hurt.

Mel always looked at Beck as her best friend, boyfriend, and her protector.

"Did you miss me?"

"Of course I did,"

"Why is your dress so short, Teddybear?" Beck grumbled tugging at the dress that was a breeze away from showing all of her ass that he held in his hands.

Beck tilted his head at the sight of a group of boys staring at Mel's ass trying to catch a peek to which he glares bucking at them, causing the boys to speed walk away.

"Stop papa it doesn't go down that far," Mel huffs hurriedly pulling the dress up before a tiddie got loose causing Beck to double back.

"Why aren't you wearing a bra?"

"Because you can't wear them with dresses like these," Mel explained, wrapping her arms around Beck's neck as she placed multiple kisses on his face before placing her chin on top of his head.

"C'mon ma-ma we'll be late for class," Beck mumbled placing a kiss to the girl's neck causing her to shiver.

Beck leaned down, letting his girlfriend slide out of his arms before he hurriedly fixed her dress seeing as her boxers were peeking out a little bit.

"Alright teddy, remember how I told you we had a new student? her name is Tori Vega and she arrived yesterday. I don't know if she'll be back today after the whole Jade incident so we'll see," Beck explained tucking his girlfriend under his arm.

"Vega? As in Trina? Trina Vega?" Mel questioned looking up at Beck who nodded back at her.

"Yep, but I swear she actually has talent."

"We'll see." Was all Mel said before they strutting into Sikowitz's class.

Beck shook his head at his overly dramatic girlfriend before walking in behind her watching as students swarmed around her before he could react Jade came to her rescue.

"SKATT!" Jade shouted causing everybody to scatter like roaches when the lights turn on.

"Mel! I have so much to tell you," Jade cheesed pulling the curvy teen into a tight hug.

"Yess, most definitely tell me later!"

"MEL!"

Melanin turned her head at the sound of another one of her bestfriends, Cat.

"Hiii," Mel wheezed as Cat knocked into her wrapping her pale arms around the girl's waist, placing her head on Mel's chest.

Beck watched on with slight jealously, he knows he has nothing to worry about since the twins considered Cat to be their sister, but he couldn't help it.

He wanted to keep Mel all to himself, and loved to be up under her rather than out and making mistakes.

"Bye Granma!" Lani shouted out to Andre's grandmother, who she was on the phone with.

Lani loved totalk with Andre's grandma sometimes before school, she thought the crazy lady was hilarious and loved her presence even if it was just over the phone.

"Alright now if you're done talking to my granma let's go say Hi to beck and your sister," Andre grumbles still upset with Lani for not giving him any kisses this morning.

Lani raised an eyebrow at her boyfriends attitude, "Dre if you wanna eat a lil coochie den say that you lil horny freaky fuck."

Andre glances at his goofy ass girlfriend before busting out laughing a contagious laugh that makes Lani giggle.

"I love you princess, don't let anyone tell you different," Andre mumbles wrapping Lani up in a bear hug to which the girl peppers glossed kisses all over his face making him cheese.

"I love you too boo,"

"Alr boo, c'mon or we'll be late." Lani mumbles sliding her hand into Andre's walking them towards Sikowitz's class.

As Lani and Dre were walking in the class room, Andre wrapped his hand around Lani's neck before tonguing the poor girl down.

If you listened closely you could hear Mel let out a loud, 'Ouuuuuu they fucking' in the background, causing Lani to blush while as Andre smirks pecking her lips one last time before letting her go.

"Twinnnnn!" Mel and Lani dragged walking up to each other before stopping to twerk, before either boyfriend could snatch them up they hurriedly ran into each others arms rocking each other from side to side.

"How-?" before they could continue SIkowitz barged in tell everyone to take a seat after giving the twins a hug since SIkowitz and their father were bestfriends, so they considered him their uncle.

Mel went to go sit beside Beck who wrapped an arm around her shoulder, while as Lani went to go sit beside Andre who immediately wrapp his arm around her shoulder.

Both boys nodding at each other as they kiss their girlfriends head.

"What's the temperature now?"

Beck breathed pulling at his shirt.

Beck, Tori, Robbie, and Rex, were all seated at their regular lunch table waiting for the other half of the group.

Beck was hoping that Mel would at least acknowledge him. He had been worrying himself to death about the stubborn girl, he hadn't had much time for himself...

He might've made a couple of random Slap accounts just to lurk. He told himself it was because he wanted to make sure she was taking care of herself.

When really he wanted to see how fast she'd move on, to which she didn't fortunately.

"Uh, well, um, according to my pear pad--" Robbie stopped at both Beck and Tori's groan before continuing. "Here in Hollywood, it is 103 degrees."

"Man, I hate sweating," Beck huffs.

"I know. My arms feel like warm, wet ham," Tori grimaces earning a laugh from Beck.

"Hi! I'm really hot, but I'm still in a good mood," Cat cheers as she and the girls.

Mel flipping elegantly into the last spot between Beck and Jade, much to Beck's surprise.

Beck froze at the sight of Mel and what she had on. The somewhat transparent dress she had on was loose and airy.

Which left him confused on how it complimented her curves in all the worst ways. Beck coughed before throwing his jacket over his lap to cover his excitement.

Beck was so busy appreciating his now ex-girlfriend he didn't realize the little duck she had perched up in her hands.

"Robbie," Jade called startling the curly-headed boy. "You done with that water?"

"No!"

"Give it to me," Jade hissed.

"All right."

"What?" Jade asked softly, eyeing the brunette.

The whole gang glanced at each other before looking back at the two females that were in their own little world.

Jade was confused with herself and her sexuality. She isn't worried about whether her friends would accept her.

There was no doubt in her mind that they would accept her with open arms.

It was just that, she had convinced herself to hate the Vega. She had originally thought of her as a best friend stealer and a relationship wrecker.

Never in a million and one years would she find herself catching feelings for Victoria Vega.

What Jade didn't realize is; Tori felt the same way and was only waiting for Jade's approval or some kind of signal.

"You're not sweating!" Tori gasped feeling around Jade's face.

"Uh-huh," Jade nodded. "Having fun there?"

"How can you not be sweating?" Tori groaned.

"I don't sweat."

"Everyone sweats," Tori scoffed.

"Not Jade," Mel chimed.

"Jade never sweats," Lani added as Andre came kissed her forehead before he greeted the whole table.

While the girls continued their lover's quarrel, the rest of the table dispersed into their own conversations.

"What's all that money for?" Cat asked as Andre picked Lani up before seating himself and seating Lani directly on top of him.

"Me," Andre smiled. "I set up a kiddie pool over there and I'm charging people $5 for five minutes."

"Sinjin! You have three more minutes!" Andre called to which Sinjin nodded. "Ok!"

Mel watched as Sinjin pretended to be chased by a shark, before turning towards Andre with a smile.

"What is it you gremlin?" Andre playfully glared.

"Can I go next?" Mel cheesed handing him $5.

"Sure."

"Hey."

"What?"

"Does it worry you that never sweat?" Tori questioned crossing her arms over her towel.

"No."

"But what if one day, all your sweat, like, builds up inside and you just explode?" Tori explained making Jade just stare at her weirdly.

"She would love that," Mel shrugged unintentionally standing directly in front of Beck, not that he was complaining.

"Is that a duck?" Robbie squinted eyeing the duck that sat comfortably on top of Mel's shoulder.

"Yeah? Problem?" Mel glared to which the duck mirrored her actions.

Beck grinned turning his head towards the door so they could all get some fresh air seeing as it was starting to get really hot.

"Not at all," Robbie gulped.

"All right it's starting to get hot in here," Andre announced eyeing Lani as she attempted to remove her transparent overshirt.

Tori along with the rest of the gang agreed wanting to get out of the heat and into the ocean.

"This way people," Beck motioned to the door that acted as if it didn't want to open all of a sudden. "The door won't open."

They all watched with wide eyes as Beck banged against the RV door trying to get it open.

"Just open it!" Jade hissed.

"Something's blocking the door," Beck sighed.

"Some idiot parked a huge RV right next to us," Mel groaned out, causing the rest of them to panic.

"I'm getting really hot now!" Andre yelled.

"Will, somebody open a window?" Tori breathed.

"The windows are bulletproof they do not open!" Jade raised her voice.

"I'm getting hotter!" Andre pulls at his shirt.

"Just push on the door," Tori sighs.

"I can't push a 7,000-pound RV out of the way," Beck explained.

"Then push harder!"

"That doesn't even make any sense!"

Everyone excluding the twins started arguing and screaming at each other wasting energy they could all be spending to cool themselves down.

"All right, all right!" Andre called loudly silencing everyone. "Let's not bug out!"

"Dude, nobody knows we're trapped in this toaster oven," Tori snapped.

Andre explained how Cat went to the bathroom and would be back soon, and basically let them out of the RV.

Everyone had been in the RV for an hour or two now and had been slowly freaking out the longer they stayed in the RV.

Mel petted her duck as she watched the Vega sisters rumble around on the floor of Beck's RV.

"Water!" Tory gasped. She has water!"

"Give it back!" Trina screamed.

"You had water this entire time and didn't think to share with the rest of us?!"

"If I shared it, I wouldn't have had as much for me," Trina whined.

"There's only like one swallow left," Andre huffed making them whine.

"I want it!" Jade whined.

"No! Give it to the duck! That way we won't have to fight over it and the duck will not die of dehydration," Lani explained snatching the cap from Tori daring for them to challenge her as she gave the cap to her sister's duck who she named.

Bear.

Minutes later Robbie decided that it would be a great idea to drink Beck's dirty fish water and throw it up in Trina's bag.

Andre explained how his granma, before she lost her mind, of course, used to tell him everything would be okay as long as he sang a song.

They were now all divided and doing their own thing around the beach though Beck and Mel were sent to get food.

"Melanin, hey-" Beck tugged at the girl's arm. "I just wanted to talk to you, maybe clear some things up."

Mel smirked to herself before raising an eyebrow waiting for Beck to continue.

"Okay, um. I know that we didn't end on the best of terms and I know you probably don't even want to breathe the same air as me, let alone take me back. It's just I made a mistake and- and I love you so much that it hurts. I worry about you a lot even when we were together at least then I could keep an eye on you but now I don't even know what-"

Mel cut off Beck's ramble by crashing her lips onto his.

The two relaxed into the kiss and completely forgot about their surroundings so it wasn't much of a surprise that the two didn't even notice the applause and whistling and carrying on about in the small Chinese restaurant they were in.

How could they? They were too wrapped up in themselves.

"So you don't think I'm annoying and selfish?" Mel shrugged softly trying not to seem desperate for validation.

Beck threw his head back in disappointment in himself, before pulling Mel into a bear hug that warmed the girl's heart immensely. "Of course not teddy. I was just upset and I didn't expect you to actually break-up with me so I brushed you and your feelings off."

"I love you too."

Beck and Mel had talked out their issues on the way back to the RV where their friends were waiting for them, mainly the food though.

After Beck dropped everyone off he convinced Mel to spend the night with him, using how much he missed her to his advantage when really he just wanted to make it up to her.

The couple were now spooning on Beck's bed half-naked watching a Descendants remake called The Story Of Us.

When she felt a hand rubbing its way down her tiddies, across her stomach, and in between her thighs

"Let me make it up to you princess. I think an apology is long. . . overdue." Beck murmurs sliding his hand down her panties watching as Mel sucked in a breath.

"Betsy! Betsy!"

"That animal's delicious flesh could keep us all alive for another week!" Jade exclaimed motioning towards the stuffed horse in Cat's hands.

"I don't want to be alive without Bessy! This cow is everything to me that my daddy never was!" Cat feigned rage continuing, "And I'll be ding dang-"

Before Cat could finish Sikowitz threw a ball to her face causing everyone including his nieces to spin around and stare at him as the poor girl squealed in the background.

"Sikowitz!" Jade, Mel, Lani, and Tori chorused.

"What?"

Mel and Lani rushed to the stage helping the poor girl up as she whined holding her cheek, "You just hit me in the face with a ball!"

"Oh come on! A truly great actor can stay in the scene no matter what's happening around her," Sikowitz shrugged waving his hands around.

"But it really hurt!" Cat whined before brightening up at the sound of the bell.

"Ouu lunch! yay!"

Beck and Andre waited for their girlfriends to get in front of them before dapping each other up.

They were best friends way before they even met the twins so it wasn't a surprise when getting twin sisters brought them even closer.

"Hey, do you want to go to lunch with us?" The twins chorused weirding Tori out.

The twins got to know Tori by questioning her true intentions with Jade since she spilt that hot coffee all over her on 'accident' while making goo-goo eyes.

Honestly? they shipped Jori and couldn't wait to see them get added into the private group chat.

"Sure just let me- Ahh!" Tori screamed ducking before a ball could nail her head against the door frame.

Watching both Beck and Andre with wide eyes as they pushed her out of the way trying to get the twins out of harm's way.

"What was that for? I'm not acting right now!" Tori exclaimed throwing her arms up.

"We need to chat." Sikowitz squinted.

"And... 'Tori, can I see you?' wouldn't have worked?" Tori deadpanned glancing at her friends who shrugged with their girlfriends on their shoulders.

"Have fun!" Lani cheesed

"Protect your face!" Mel waved

"What's up?" Tori sighed, walking towards Sikowitz as he clasped his hands together.

"I heard you signed up to audition for a play, "Rapunzel written by my niece?"

"Yeah," Tori cheesed nodding, "Andre wrote the music for it and Lani wants me to audition to play in it."

"You should," Sikowitz cheesed.

"Yea-"

"But you can't. Not until you pass "The Bird Scene." Sikowitz sighed dramatically tossing the book towards the brunette who stood there confused waiting for an explanation.

"Here at Hollywood Arts, every student must successfully complete the scene before they can audition for any and all school productions," Sikowitz explained watching as Tori skimmed the book.

"Hey Sikowitz, I forgot to ask you a question about the homework." Cat started getting cut off with another ball hurling towards her face; letting out a scream scrambling away before it could hit her again.

"We'll never know her question."

"Mel! Sto- Drink it!"

Andre, Lani, Robbie, and Rex watched as Beck tried to get Mel to drink some of his water since she didn't drink any all day.

Beck tries to force her to drink water to stay hydrated no matter how much she claims the water tastes disgusting. He learned to not question it and just make sure she drinks 2-3 bottles a day.

"No-" Mel started leaning her head back and away from an irritated Beck who wrapped his hand around her neck snatching her forward.

"Open and swallow all of it now," Beck demanded hovering the now opened bottled water over her mouth.

Watching as Mel opening her mouth without hesitation and continued to swallow without so much of a struggle.

"Good girl." Beck praised kissing her forehead.

Andre, Lani, Robbie, and Rex glanced at each other before jumping into their own conversation pretending like nothing ever happened.

"And so went my spirit..." Tori dropped her head signaling that the scene was over.

"So... how'd I do?" Tori cheesed awkwardly.

Mel and Lani glanced at each other before booing to which the whole class followed suit.

The brunette looked at them with wide eyes watching as both Beck and Andre snatched them up quickly whispering in their ear harshly causing them to almost immediately quiet down.

"No, not at all." SIkowitz continued glaring at his neices before focusing back on the brunette.

"Okay, then what'd I do wrong?"

"You'll have to perform The scene again tomorrow and get it right, or else you cannot be in Andre and Lani's play or any other." Sikowitz explained walking towards the stage.

"But can you tell me what I did wrong?"

"No, I cannot."

"I don't get any feedback?" Troi questioned

"BOOOOO!" Mel called.

"PACK IT UP CHEEKBONES" Lani joined in.

"Yeah, well my locker's smarter than your locker!" Tori argued with Jade.

"Whatever Tori!" was all Jade said walking away with Tori on her heels.

"Wha- it is!"

I got props, a backdrop made by Mel of course," Tori motioned towards Mel who was sharing some frys to Beck.

"And just to kiss up a little, i even got Sikowitz two large coconuts." Tori cheesed at Lani who just waved her off.

"My Uncle doesn't appreciate bribary, I mean have you met my daddy?" Lani patted Toris shoulder before going and sitting beside Andre who kissed her forehead.

Mel and Lani never sat on either boyfriends lap in class out of respect for themselves and their teachers, especially Sikowitz who was bestfriends with their father.

Skip forward to Toris locker

"You guys ready?" Tori questioned glancing at Jade who stood closest to her.

"Whatever"

The group watched as her locker lit up.

"It's pretty lit-" Mel started only to be glared at from Beck to which she immediately quiet down.

"Listen Tori we have some business to handle, but nice locker." Andre explained glancing at Beck before they both tugged their girlfriends out of the school building.

"Pooh-" Mel tried only to be thrown over Beck shoulder.

"Boo-" Lani tried only to be thrown over Andres shoulder.

Both boys nodded at each other before going their separate ways.
