He doesn't care much for an elaborate gravestone, just his name and maybe a carving of a moth :]

2. Sammy? Kill me? Please

He'd maybe lightly punch me a few times, but then I'd give him a lollypop and a coloring book and he'd go sit down while I figure out how they're real.

3. They need to learn how to stand up for themselves and fight for what they love. He doesn't always have the option of having someone help him.

4. Sammy watches Duarte run up to her room. He knows that it's best to not talk to her at the moment, but he still wants to cheer her up.

He goes over to the empty kitchen and starts grabbing ingredients. Some quick and simple blueberry muffins should do the trick to make Duarte feel better.

After sending off a couple of baby bugs (with an older bug to supervise) Sammy is able to put some fresh blueberries the littles picked into the muffins

Once they're all done baking the muffins, they put 4 on a plate for Duarte and let the baby bugs go at the rest.

He slowly and silently creeps up the stairs to Duarte's room. Knocking on the door, he places the plate on the floor before rushing off to hide so Duarte can't see him, but he can see her.

When Duarte comes out to see what the knocking was, she looks down to see the plate of muffins, along with the note Sammy attached to it:

Hey Duarte,

I noticed what happened earlier with that lady, and wanted to cheer you up, so I baked you some blueberry muffins! I hope you like them.

After reading it, Sammy watches a small smile come across her face before Duarte takes the plate and disappears into her room again.

5. Hayloft II (bc Sammy's not a bad person, he was just forced to do the things he's done)

Bug questions??? In this economy???

1 - Your bug has died. So sorry about that. What do they want on their gravestone?

2 - Your bug is real and coming to kill you! Will you survive? (I know for most of y'all it's a no-)

3 - What is one thing they need to learn? (e.g. some kind of moral lesson)

4 - Scenario???? And its angst?? (@not-5-rats I'm coming for your brand)

Something was up with Duarte. Your Bug knew that. Just what exactly they didn't know.

It was quite late in the evening and all the bugs were downstairs, either arguing over how to cook dinner, Bodie had left for the night to go and grab some of the salt he needed for the salve, or they were going about their various hobbies. Duarte was doing none of these. She'd barely touched her latest project.

She kept looking towards the front door. She was picking at the hem of her poncho, even as her hands were shaking. Occasionally she'd disappear up to her room only to re-emerge a few minutes later. She was clearly waiting for something. Someone.

There's a knock on the door and Duarte is over there in a second. Over her shoulder, Bug sees a woman. Her hair is long and a dark auburn. Her eyes are tired, bitter. A scar runs across her neck, stretching from her collarbone to just underneath her chin.

Duarte smiles weakly. "Nat. I'm-"

The woman interrupts. "Don't call me that."

Duarte's face falls, but she continues anyway. "Oh. Alright. Natalie. I'm glad you got my letter, can we talk?"

There's a pause, and then Natalie speaks again. Her voice has an edge to it, rough and jagged like an overused dagger. "No. We can't talk. I just have a few things I need to say to you, then I'm out of here."

She doesn't give a chance to respond. Any tiredness in her eyes is gone, replaced with something else. "I can't believe you have the nerve to come back here- after all the shit you pulled. You don't get to stroll back into my life, feeling all sorry for yourself. Not after I've moved on. So I'm going to keep this short."

She digs a finger into Duarte's chest, an accusation, a threat, whatever. "Here's your fucking answer: I don't forgive you, I will never forgive you, so stay the hell out of my life."

With that she turns away, taking one unhesitating step away. Duarte grabs her wrist. Natalie doesn't turn around. Her voice is ice.

"Don't fucking touch me."

"Please just-"

Natalie turns around and slaps Duarte across the face. The sound echoes through the room and Duarte's hand goes slack. Natalie leaves.

For a moment Duarte stands there, frozen. She blinks and seems to come back to herself, even if her eyes are slightly glassy. She turns to the bugs.

"I- I need to go."

She races up the stairs. Bug hears a door slam shut.

Do they follow her?

5 - Assign a Villain song to your bug. Duarte calls dibs on Ruthlessness from Epic btw

{☆} Marco finally got his own story :D, sorry if he seems out of character I'm trying </3

The sun feel nice, there was a cool breeze flowing through the swamp. Marco, after finally coming back, asked Bug if they wanted to help him. He needed some herbs for Bodie to use for healing and for using as spices.

Him and Bug don't talk a lot, which is funny to them considering how they meet. Walking behind the crocodile, it was weird not hearing him talk. Bug was so use to the other two talking their ear off that, someone being silent made them want something to fill the silence.

"Marco, how did you know if a herb is good to use?" Asking a simple question to get some noise between them. Bug was slowly going mad with out it, the long haired half blood smiled.

"Well, you need to look for color, texture, taste, and smell. Dried herbs should look, taste, and smell almost like they do when they are fresh. If the dried herbs have lost their color and scent, they have also lost their flavor and potency." Rambling away, Marco was happy to tell someone this. He was use to being alone, so he usually didn't talk only thinking while on the road.

Bug absorbed all the information, maybe they could help Bodie next time he goes herb gathering. The older gator always says he has a hard time finding some, maybe they could be useful to him. Walking side by side Marco continued to tell Bug how to find fresh herbs.

Then he slowed his walking and looked around, a caw from Maria was all he needed. Turning to bug he held the basket up, giving a cheeky grin.

"Ready for the gathering? I'll be over here you try over there okay? Yell if you need me." Pointing a bit away to a patch Bug nodded at his words. Then went over and crouch down with their own basket, it was given to them by Bodie. Trying to remember what he needed specifically Bug looked at the plants before them.

Using the knowledge given to them, they were able to pick out a few good herbs. Standing up they looked around for more, slowly walking away from Marco. But a caw stopped them, Maria landed on their shoulder gently and tugged on their collar.

"Ah, want me to stay so I don't get lost?" Guessing Bug looked at Maria who seemed to nod her head. Taking her advice they went to Marco, who was finishing as well.

"Oh hey bug, you finished?" Nodding to him Marco continued, "I think there's more over....there?" Pointing to where the swamp meet a forest. Bug let Marco take the lead following him, Maria set off to scout ahead.

Talking again Marco told them how Bodie wanted some mushrooms or even berries to eat. While walking and chatting they did find a berry bush. Picking at the bush, Maria swooped back and landed on Marco.

"Did you see someone?" Maria cawed at him, causing Marco to look around. Then looked up at the sky, it was getting dark, guess it was time to go back.

"Let's go back, Hunters might be looking around here for some food too." Whispering Marco looked around. Not wanting to accidently get caught and need to run. Maria took this to fly away again, Bug gently grabbed his arm and smiled.

"Which way did we come from again?" Giving a apologetic smile. Marco laughed a bit and guided them back to the swamp. A new conversation started with how Bug's leg has been healing.

Days like these were nice, slow and not much adventure. Talking with Marco when he's actually around is nice. Bug wonders if he'll stay longer this time around, they wanna talk to him more.
