So a quick update on what I got going on in the crack ship roster:

Escaped x Redacted (...one sided beef enemies to lovers, that's all I got)

Btw for those who don't know, Escape has one sided beef with Redacted that is absolutely hilarious

Redacted is Escape's rival and he doesn't even know who Escaped is lmao.

There are only two episodes of My Greasefire Life left (don't worry, the characters will go on in Thad's M4A spinoff) but when the finale airs I do want to share a collection of all the Denny's Listener designs! I'm not sure if I'll share them in the actual finale or in the compiled/definitive version but either way I want to start gathering them now and give people time to draw the version of their Listener that they want included in the end credits and epilogue.

Hey gambinos I need some feedback. So I've been incubating a story for over a year now and I haven't fully committed to because I'm not sure it would be possible as an audio roleplay. In short, my issue is that the narrative relies HEAVILY on an unspoken internal conflict that could only be depicted by a description of the character's internal monologue, or very subtle visual cues. Two things that can't exist for an audio roleplay listener. It's also not really about the development of a romance, but focuses primarily on the decline of a lifelong friendship and the protagonist's descent into evil ambition.

I threw around the idea of saying "fuck it" and writing a novel, but I'm not sure that's the move. I have never written a novel in my life and I'd have to learn as I go, and I don't want to waste one of my most compelling ideas on a literary mulligan. I think I have a solution though!

This would be very experimental, but I was throwing around the idea of casting a narrator for the parts that involve internal monologue, time skips, and actions too subtle to be conveyed by sound. Think of something in the style of Baldur's Gate, where most of the story is told through actions and dialogue, with the narrator appearing from time to time to describe the player's thoughts and feelings.

I'll probably yap a little more about this project as it goes on. It doesn't have a title yet but I'm very excited by the idea and I dont want to let this one die on the vine.

Was listening to Not in Front of Dinner Darling while studying today because I needed background noise and I shit you not, not even five minutes in I fully stopped studying to pay attention to the audio

So yea fuck escaped audios for being so goddamn entertaining my exams start two days from now
