Actually, stars are like these:

Actually, Stars Are Like These:

This is Konpeito, by the way, which is Korean star candy! I've had these before when I was young and they taste just like sugar. They are also crunchy when you bite them. So not only stars ARE crunchy, they are also sweet like candy :)

stars are definitely sweet but they are not like crunchy candy !!!!, they are 100% just apple crunch

Romance positive Aro Culture is that you feel awkward for liking valentine's day, because apparently all the other aros hate it, and you understand why, but for some reason you don't hate.

(loveless) aro culture is not wanting to talk about your birthday when someone asks about it because it is very close to valentine's day and people tend to give you love-themed presents

Hey, I'm getting more and more romance-repulsed by the day and with Valentine's Day coming up, it's gonna be unbearable... Is there any way to stop being romance-repulsed? Or any other advice?

hi! i’m so sorry this is coming after valentine’s day. there isn’t really a way to stop feeling romance repulsed, but the best advice i can really give is...

acknowledge that you’re feeling romance repulsion/exhaustion. I find it useful to phrase it as “I am feeling romance repulsed right now” - it both validates your emotions but also frames it as a thing of right now. I personally try to avoid the phrasing “this thing is making me romance repulsed” because it feels like I have no control then.

do what you can to avoid the situations that cause repulsion, but also have plans for ways to tolerate it when it happens and sooth yourself when it’s over. can you apply tactics from managing anxiety or other negative emotions? can you practice setting boundaries and giving yourself extra self-care when you’re having a tough emotional time?

if you can, identify people you can vent to. if you can’t, you could try journals, art, just - anything that works for you to help you release emotion. please don’t feel like you have to shove it down and ignore it - that doesn’t help if you never give yourself time for release.

I hope this can provide some basic resources, late as it is.
