Israel CHOSE to kill civilians, they CHOSE to bomb every hospital, every school, every refugee camp, every residential block. israel does NOTHING to spare the lives of palestinians, they want to thin out the population of gaza so they'd be able to settle their citizens there.

May was a feminist researcher who worked on various issues concerning women in Egypt, providing support to them throughout her artistic career in the fields of feminism and social work.

May attempted to return to Egypt through the Rafah crossing but was unsuccessful.

On November 2, 2023, the house where May and her family resided in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood in Gaza was targeted in an Israeli airstrike, leading to her martyrdom along with her family.

Her colleagues mourned her on social media platforms, saying, "Today, we lost an impactful individual in this cruel world. From her, we witnessed nothing but respect, appreciation, and love for everyone."
