i don’t particularly like the epilogue or cc but one thing i do like is harry calling his oldest james sirius. like disregarding the pressure that comes with naming your kid after two war heroes whilst simultaneously being the son of two other war heroes, one of whom is the actual saviour of the world (or is at least perceived as such), you know what it means? it means that harry put them together again. james and sirius, i mean. put them together in a little boy who’ll never know hunger, who’ll grow up in peacetime, who’ll grow up with siblings and a big, loving, possibly slightly overbearing family.

he acknowledged THE soulmates of the hp-verse because those two were his dads, thank you very much. his literal and magical guardians. harry really held his firstborn for the first time and said “and they’ll never be apart again”, and i love that for them

Harry would have been a daddy's boy this, Harry would have been a mommy's boy that, no. Harry would have been Sirius' boy.

He will spoil him rotten and always be his favorite parent, the bonus parent.

I like that severus cries, like not in a weird way but it’s sort of comforting that he’s very expressive when angry, frustrated or pissed

Same, I genuinely love when male characters express so much emotion, be it screaming or tears. It’s one of the reasons why I adored Harry so much in the fifth book.
