So I have a new project going on.

Meet Realms of Mana, a tribute to Magic the Gathering! The first soap is White Mana, scented with white tea and ginger, and all the bars are stamped with a gold mana symbol that's similar (but IP distinct enough) to MtG's. The second is Blue Mana, with fragrance notes of ocean waters, green apple and oakmoss, and it will get a wave stamp once it's cut.

I had a moment yesterday because things are going well and I just. Want to thank Lou Wilson, Dimension 20 and Dropout for the phrase "the ball is rolling up" because that's been the only thing in my head.

Chez Geek Soaps Wrapped 2023

A bit late but I hope you'll forgive me. Let's talk recap, shall we? In 2023, Chez Geek Soaps did the following: - sell at a whole lot of local events; - my first ever soap for charity in response to the events of October 25th, and thanks to my fantastic community of chics and geeks I was able to donate $100 to the Lewiston-Auburn Area Response Fund; - join the first ever Makers Market in my hometown and start participating in events thanks to that association; - launch a few new products like our Bathmallows and Beard Oil; - and finally, just keep selling really awesome soap to really awesome people. You helped me grow my business even bigger this year, so thank you so much for that. SO... WHAT'S NEXT? Well now that I've had a little holiday break, it's time to start working on the vision for this year. In person events are where I sell best, so I'm going to make it a point to try and get to as many of those as possible this year. To add onto that idea, I would like to work on featuring the Geek in CGS at one or more of those events. (I don't want to get ahead of myself, but I have one in mind that I'm actively workshopping a soap set for!) I'm ready to start really testing some waters this year. I hope you'll join me!

Some of my chics and geeks may know that I had thyroid cancer back in 2022. Some of you may be friends and family and already know what I'm about to say. Well... I was diagnosed yesterday with breast cancer. I'm scared and upset, and a little frustrated because what if this interferes with all the Chez Geek plans... but I beat cancer once. If it wants the smoke again, I'll light the fires.
