The artworks are 80% of the reason why I got into Magic

God, what a cool fucking pair of cards. Especially these versions, with Kev Walker's art. Black and White getting the exact same effect, because the death of all fits both divine grace and unknowable horror.

And then Mr. Walker nails the fact that they're the same but different, with not just the inverted colors, but the way that Wrath of God explodes outwards, while Damnation draws all in.

Please teach me your ways for Taii 🙏 I unpacked her and I plan to make a deck with cards I already have, but I'd like to know how to make it good 🙏

Phase 1: "Oh this looks like a neat commander with a cool yet versatile build-around ability!"

Phase 2: "Ah this removal spell synergizes with the commander's ability, how nice to have synergetic cards that also contribute to a well-rounded deck!"

Phase 3: "Well this commander is pretty slow, so stalling for time with removal is pretty useful, and they're all synergetic, so..."

Phase 4: I've made the most obnoxious control deck ever.

I've just recently finished my first deck ever, which is Arahbo, roar of the world, and I think that's going to be my pet deck forever 💕

Tbf, there's an unset card which necessitates doing algebra to cast it most effectively lol

Was there any concern about The Millennium Calendar being hard to track in paper? In between asking you to count a subset of your permanents, add that to a possibly large number, and multiply, it seems like more fiddly math than any single card has asked players to perform before.

It requires a pencil and paper, but it’s not like doubling is a super complex math function.

in other words, yes to Bowser scaling.

Rakdos has consistently been something like four stories tall. But in the MTGA splash screen, he's barely taller than the rest of the cast. Is this a retcon or does he have "Bowser scaling" now?

I believe Rakdos has the ability to change his size.

First I would like to apologize for the low quality of the image. the site I was using to make them was being pretty annoying by putting the text over the borders or separating word that shouldn’t be separated, so I decided to use another one that makes better designs but with low image quality (So people can’t use it to clone real cards)

So I have a new project going on.

Meet Realms of Mana, a tribute to Magic the Gathering! The first soap is White Mana, scented with white tea and ginger, and all the bars are stamped with a gold mana symbol that's similar (but IP distinct enough) to MtG's. The second is Blue Mana, with fragrance notes of ocean waters, green apple and oakmoss, and it will get a wave stamp once it's cut.
