why do i imagine the batfam finally meeting the league and then one of them going 'how the fuck do you have so many kids?' and little shit Jason goes 'well, when two people love each other very much...' and because Bruce doesn't wanna listen to this, he tiredly reminds Jason: 'you're adopted' which naturally means that Jason is going to dramatically pretend that this is the first time he's heard that and how could Bruce keep this from him, much to the horror of the league and the exasperation of Bruce

Anybody know any good Batman/BtVS crossovers?

Specifically any post-UtRH and -season 6 fics where Buffy and Jason interact. Not necessarily looking for a romantic ship, I just really really really wanna see these two not-dead kids having a snark-off about crawling out of their own graves. Because, yeah, both universes have plenty of characters coming back to life, but reverse grave digging seems to be distinctive to these two and they could have a lot of fun making their (extended) families uncomfortable with all the dead jokes they’d probably make

Question for whoever reads live action/animated crossover fanfictions

How do you see the story in your head? Do you mentally animate the actors? Do you come up with live action faces for the animated characters?

Because I am thoroughly enjoying a GOT x AoT story on ao3, but my confused brain can only come up with some Who Framed Roger Rabbit? mess 🫣

some people think writers are so eloquent and good with words, but the reality is that we can sit there with our fingers on the keyboard going, “what’s the word for non-sunlight lighting? Like, fake lighting?” and for ten minutes, all our brain will supply is “unofficial”, and we know that’s not the right word, but it’s the only word we can come up with…until finally it’s like our face got smashed into a brick wall and we remember the word we want is “artificial”.
