Summary: Billy is infatuated with Y/n.The only girl who will basically tell him where he can shove it in Hawkins. But with that being said will she say yes to a date?

Authors Note: Prompt #495 @creativepromptsforwriting is the whole base for this Imagine. Its really short so I’m sorry to everyone that follows me for that. I had 3 pages left in one of my note books and I wrote this.  (I ended up having to add to the back of the 3rd page so kinda 4 pages). Even though it’s short I still really enjoyed writing it and I’m glad I wrote it. Also I’m trying out adding “Masterlist” and the masterlist for the series the character is from. Is that easier?

“No” Y/n stated shutting her locker

“Come one, please.” Billy whined taking a step closer towards the only girl in Hawkins that resists him.

“I said no, Hargrove.” Y/n turned looking him in the eyes hoping this would be the last time she had to state it.

“Y/l/n, just give me a chance.” Billy pleaded. With his reputation he knew it would be hard to get her to believe he was truly serious, he’s ready to beg if needed.

“I’m not gonna be just another notch on your belt. So no.” y/n spoke very clearly hoping that she made her point clear to Hawkins resident bad boy. An with that she left him standing in the high school hallway. Left to process what she had just told him and watch her walk away.

Even though Y/n seemed to be trying to make it very clear to him Billy is determined not to give up. He wants her, and what Billy Hargrove wanted Billy Hargrove got. Just this one wasn’t going to be as easy to get. But worth it.

Once he got out of the doors he spotted her sitting there. It had been four days since the incident by Y/ns locker in the school hallway. Billy figured he gave her time to settle down from how annoyed she had gotten at their last encounter. So he’s going to try again, and upon seeing her all alone out front of the school, it seemed like a good time as any.

“What do you want now, Hargrove?” Y/n asked not even glancing up when she felt someone approach her. There was only one person the would while she’s working on homework outside of school. All her friends having left early.

“Please, just give me a chance? I’ve never tried this hard to get a girl before.” Billy asked softly, not in his usual sounding voice. Not gruff or cocky. This got Y/n to look up curiously. Now the look on his face and his tone got her rethinking her decision.

“I-I don’t know Billy.” Y/n stuttered shifting on the step she was sitting on. Now not knowing if she should give into him, and her recent thoughts of giving him a chance. That maybe he means it.

“Well, I got you to use my first name so I must be getting somewhere.” he laughed out in relief, but jokes aside it was true. But by the look on Y/n’s face that changed from unsure to annoyed once again said he wasn’t helping himself. “Ok, ok bad joke.”

Y/n sighed gently shaking her head from side to side picking up her bag and stuffing her homework and school book back inside, getting ready to get up and walk away. “Billy, I would love to give you a chance but…”

Billy could tell his time was clicking with her even considering saying ‘yes’ this time. “What if I make you a promise?” he rushed put hoping it would pique her interest. At least enough to get her to stay.

“What kind of promise?” Y/n asked trying to keep her face neutral to not show how interested she was in his proposal.

“Well, for starters you wouldn’t be another notch on my belt.” Billy tried lightening the mood with a joke. A joke that happens to use her own words from a couple of days ago.

“What else?” she rolled her eye’s hoping she wasn’t wasting her time asking him to continue on.

Billy nodded understanding he wasn’t getting anywhere with his current tactics. “I promise, after this time I won’t try again.”

Y/n stood there for a minute letting his promise sink in. She has been liking ~secretly~ the attention he had been giving her the last multiple months. An maybe she did like him like he’s claiming he likes her. “Fine. Deal. Better make a good impression Hargrove.” She sighed, hoping she doesn’t regret this and end up broken-hearted.

Billy on the other hand was already trying to think of the prefect date. Of course he’s been on dates before but those were just to please the girl enough to let him into their pants. But this date, this date is important. To prove he’s serious about wanting to be with her and making a real relationship with her. That she won’t just be another hookup or as she so welly put it “notch on his belt”.

Billy’s determined, determined enough to maybe ask Max and her friend El for ideas. “I promise you won’t regret it.”

“Neverland?” Y/n questioned, she had only heard of it a couple of time. As a dreamland for kids.

“Heard of it?” Peter asked, trying to get a read on the girl. Also wondering if she had heard of Neverland before. Maybe thats how she got here.

Y/n nodded “twice”

Peter smiled at her vagueness. He took a few steps closer, tilting her head. “Love, how’d you get here? Since it seems you weren’t trying to.”

“No, I wasn’t.” She grumbled frustrated. Then Y/n had a thought that she might as well ask. “Do- do you know if anyone else besides me came here?... Like I did.” Y/n asked shyly asked before glancing down, digging her foot around in the damp dirt like sand.

Peter grimaced, knowing he couldn’t give this girl the answer she was looking for. “No. No one steps foot in Neverland with out me knowing. Sorry Love, your the only one.”

Y/n’s expression dropped with his reluation. She was all alone. Where was everyone else sent? Where was her father sent? “Crap.” She mumbled under her breath in a deafted tone.

“Let’s sit. Talk.” Peter offered, trying to change the subject off the fact she was alone in a strange place. An more on the topic of how she got there. Peter guided Y/n over towards a few rocks close by that they could sit on and relax a bit. “What happened?”

Once seated Y/n sighed trying to think of how she could explain it to him when he probably doesn’t know who she’d be talking about. So she said screw it. “The Evil Queen, she cast a curse on the Enchanted Forest.” Y/n told him, looking at his face for clues. He seemed to understand about the Enchanted Forest, maybe he was from there before here? “All of it.” she added sadly.

“What did the curse do? Do you know?” Peter asked gently. He needed to know and understand about what happened, and get her to trust him.

“It was suppose to take away everyone's happiness. Transport them all to a land without happy endings, without magic. I imagine so she can control the environment, control whether everyone is happy or miserable. To a land where there are no happily ever afters.” Y/n explained a little bit of bitterness in her voice at the end.

“Neverland is full of magic. I don’t think you went to the right place. Or she didn’t want you there.” he explained softly, moving a hand to rub her back in a comforting manner.

Y/n shook her head “I don’t know why I didn’t end up with everyone else.”

They sat in silence for a moment before the two heard a splash. When Y/n looked over she saw the water ripple and something under the water swimming away.

“What is that?” Y/n asked standing up to try and get a better look at what it might have been. Maybe just possibly could it have been someone from her realm.

Peter Stood as well, coming up to stand right next to her. “A mermaid. They can travel between realms. Nasty creatures.”

Y/n snapped her head in his direction. How dare he judge all mermaids like that! Y/n happened to know a few good ones. Ones that help people. “Hey!” she exclaimed, in her upset her eyes had glowed a very vibrant swirl of colors. When she gets to emotional sometimes her magic makes a involuntary appearance.  Y/n’s magic was similar to her fathers but also very different. She couldn’t travel between realms like he can an she didn’t need a hat. Y/ has to know the place or have to have been there before to travel to the realm of her choice. Not to hard since she’s gone with her dad to most of the realms. An if she concentrated hard enough on it and only if she concentrated could she sense and feel what realm her loved ones are in. That’s how she knew that wherever Regina had sent everyone they must be in a realm she had never gone to before. Which in all honesty scares her more.

“You have magic.” Peter let out a airy laugh of shock and excitement. Now she just became even more interesting to him.

“Don’t even try it.” Y/n spoke backing up from him with two steps. Just to be cautious.

Peter held his hands up in surrender. “I didn’t and don’t plan on hurting you, Love.”

Y/n scoffed “Yeah, that’s what a lot of people say when they find out someone has magic.”

Peter quirked an eyebrow “Your not very trusting are you?”

“I don’t have a reason to trust you. Trust is earned not something that’s giving freely. Its not to be taken lightly.” She warned about the green clad male.

“Let me earn it.” Peter said as if he was daring her.

“What?” Y/n asked confused

“Let me earn your trust.” Peter explained what he just meant.

“Why should I do that?” Y/n asked him squinting her eyes at him.

“Well, for starters your stuck here till you find out where everyone you know is. And I’m the ruler of Neverland, I know everything that happens here. You’ll probably be here awhile…Were more alike than you think.” Peter smiled walking up to her in so few steps.

Y/n didn’t fully trust him, not one bit. If she learned anything in traveling and doing jobs with her dad it was to be cautious of what or who you trust. “Ok.” But Y/n knew he might be right and he might be the only one who could help her. So she excepted his proposal. 

“Peter smiled “Let me show you around.”

“Draco!” Goyle yelled at his friend, trying to get his attention.

“What?” Draco asked snapping his attention back towards his friends.

“We’ve been trying to get your attention for a while.” Crabble explained to an annoyed Malfoy.

Goyle nodded in agreement to said explanation. “You were staring again.” He gave Draco a knowing but also teasing look.

Draco narrowed his eyes at the two other slytherins before shaking his head in disagreement. “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

“Yes, you do.” Crabble laughed

Goyle smiled “She’s beautiful. We can all see it. Hell, anyone with eyes can see it.”

“So why don’t you go over and ask her out instead of just admiring?” Crabble added to Goyle’s statement.

“I can not.” Draco sighed

“If it’s because she’s a Hufflepuff just like her brother I swear Malfoy-” Goyle grumbled, before getting cut off.

Draco shook his head ‘no’. “It’s not because of that.”

“If it’s because of your parents, Draco-” Crabble started

“Not them either. I could care less about either of those things when it comes to her.” Draco spoke while taking another glance towards the younger Diggory sibling.

“Then whats keeping you from her? From getting the girl.” Goyle asked, both boys now confused at what was holding their friend back.

“Well for one, Cedric. Her brother is extremely protective of her.” Draco growled but at the same time, he understood the sibling thing.

“He’s her brother. He’s going to be protective of her.” Crabble stated.

“What’s the other reasons?” Goyle asked spurious to see if the Draco Malfoy could come up with anything else.

“Why would she want to be with me? With the way, I’ve treated people, and being Slytherin.” Draco asked although it came out more like a statement.

“Seriously?” Crabble asked in shock really, of his friends stupidly.

“Those are your reasons?” Goyle asked, but then scoffed shaking his head in disbelief. “Malfoy, you watch her enough to know her pretty well.”

Crabble nodded in agreement with Goyle. “For someone who hasn’t said more than a few words to the girl.”

“My point is, you know how she reacts to things. To people. Do you really think that she would judge you on rumors and how bad you use to be? Let alone the fact that your Slytherin? You know she would never judge you for that either.” Goyle stated, staring the Malfoy boy straight in the eyes.

Draco sighed “Others will judge her because of me.”

“If you both fall in love with eachother do you really think she’d care about that?” Crabble asked, already knowing the answer.

“She won’t care and you know it! And that’s what scares you.” Goyle spoke in a stern voice, poking Draco in the chest.

“Are you two done?” Draco shoved Goyle’s hand away and grumbled under his breath at the two idiots he considers friends. Even though he knows they’re correct.

“Oh! I’m so sorry!” Y/n exclaimed as she bent down to pick up her books and gather her other belongings that had spilled.

“It’s ok, Y/n.” Draco waved it off before bending down to help her collect her things.

“Are you coming to class? I didn’t think you had potions on Wednesdays?” Y/n asked glancing up at the boy across from her, recognizing just by his voice alone it was Draco.

“I-I didn’t, but they moved me to Wednesdays for reasons I was not told of.” Draco stuttered a bit answering her question.

Y/n added smiling at the Slytherin boy “Ah, well I’m glad your in it, now.”

“Really?” Draco asked curiously.

“Yeah. Hey, say would you like to sit together?” Y/n added trying to hide her blush.

Draco smiled before expecting her offer. “Uh-uh sure. Yeah, I’d like that.”

With that the two-headed off to class together. Maybe this could be the in Draco needed.

It was a couple of weeks later when Draco, Goyle, and Crabble were walking down the halls when a certain Hufflepuff yelled out.

“Malfoy!” Cedric yelled down the slightly busy hallway.

“Bollocks.” Crabble cursed

“Bye mate.” Goyle stated as he and Crabble left the hallway as fast as they could, just like everyone else.

“Hello, Diggory.” Draco sighed as he turned to face the older wizard.

“What are you planning with my sister?” Cedric spoke, standing as intimidating as possible.

“What are you talking about?” Draco asked with an annoyed tone. Clearly not in the mood to be questioned about his intentions.

Cedric let out a sigh before answering. “I’ve heard about you Draco, now I’m not one to judge but I’ll protect my sister. No matter what. Even if it’s from someone that she really cares about.”

“You can not just keep us apart!” Draco took a deep breath to calm himself so his outburst doesn’t happen again. “I know I haven’t been the best person, and I know the rumors about me. But I promise you Cedric I have only the purest intentions for Y/n.”

“You better, Malfoy.” Cedric sighed hoping that his sister wouldn’t have to experience heartbreak. An hoping Draco meant what he said.

“Hey, I heard Cedric talked to you. Is everything ok?” Y/n asked as she approached Draco outside the castle grounds.

“Everythings fine, Love.” Draco waved his hand at her concerns.

“Are you sure?” She asked again.

Draco nodded “yeah. He was just worried.”

“About what?” Y/n tilted her head

“Me, and you. Together.” he smiled brushing some of her Y/h/c hair behind her ear.

Y/n shook her head “I’m gonna-”

“Don’t. He has a right to be.” He shook his head slightly, in understanding.

“No, he doesn’t. You’re nothing like what people say Draco.” Y/n smiled at him knowingly.

“He doesn’t know that. I don’t mind Y/n. As long as I have you i do not care what others think or say.” Draco explained before continuing on with grabbing his bag like he was before Y/n came down from the castle. An they headed off on their date, leaving the conversation at that. For now.
