“Awww if it isn’t loser one and loser two.” Chuck said smirking as they approached the group of young Serpents in the Pop’s dinner booth.

“Just leave us alone.” Jughead grumbled getting annoyed faster than usual.

“No, I don’t think we will. Your both pathic and we need t make sure neither of you forget it.” Reggie crossed his arms standing next to chuck.

Y/n rolled her eyes. “Get some new material Mantle.”

“I think you need to learn a lesson-” Chuck stepped forward in a threatening manner.

“Do we have a problem here?” Tonu cut in having had enough of watching the scene before her.

“None of you business snakes.” Reggie sneered

“Your messing with our own. That makes it our business.” Fangs ut in. Along with Toni he was done watching.

“Oh, yeah, and what are you gonna do about it?” Chuck challenged.

“Yeah. Just slither away back to the holes you came out of.” Reggie scoffed

“You don’t want to know what I’d like to do about it.” Sweetpea growled from his side of the booth squaring his shoulders.

“Just leave us alone. You don’t own Pop’s. We can be here.” Y/n narrowed her eyes, hoping to make them disappear.

“We’re allowed to be here.” Jughead stated backing up Y/n’s statement.

“If there’s a problem here Mr. Mantle, Mr. Clayton I have no problem calling your folks down here to settle it.” Pop said defending his best late night customers Jughead and Y/n.

“There’s no problem.” Reggie grumbles as him and Chuck head out of the dinner.

“Thanks, Pop.” Y/n smiled gratefully at the old man.

“Your welcome, Hunny. I’ll get you all some frys.” Pop said smiling before leaving to the kitchen.

“Thanks Pop.” Jughead called out to him.

“Why don’t ou guys do anything about that?” Toni asked still pissed about how her friends were treated.

“Thier assholes.” Y/n shrugged.

“Exactly.” FIngs agreed

“They wouldn’t stop even if we did do something about it.” Jughead told their friends across the table.

“But you both just sit there and take it.” Sweetpea furrowed his eyebrows not understanding why they just take it.

“They’ve always done it. We’re from the southside, loners, I could go on. They do it to get at us. It bothers them that we’re from the wrong side of the tracks as they say and that we’re never really apart.” Y/n explained to them while sipping on her milkshake.

Jughead nodded, they’ve been dealing with this forever. “There’s no point they won’t stop and we’re not going to change.”

“Plus it pisses them off that we don’t care.” Y/n smirked reaching to grab a fry and take a bite.

“I guess your right.” Toni sighed sadly knowing that they were right. Nothing would change the asshole’s behavior. 

“Well if you both ever change your minds we’ll gladly beat their asses.” Sweetpea smirked also grabbing a fry. Any reason to beat up the bulldogs or Northsiders they’d take it.

“What’s wrong, Brett?” Satomi asked approaching the tall teenager.

“Nothing.” Brett mumbled

“You should know by now that I know you better than that.” Satomi moved to sit beside the boy. “So are you gonna tell me, or keep me waiting?”

“I was just thinking about that girl from a couple of weeks ago. If she was ok. After everything.” Brett told her looking slightly shy.

“Mmmmm, I see. Well, I heard from Derek Hale. She moved into his loft with him.” Satomi told the boy hoping to ease his mind.

“They kicked her out.” Brett turned his head to the older wolf in a flash. She wasn’t kidding when she said her family would do bad things if she disobeyed.

“She was kicked out, but not fully disowned. Her father wouldn’t do it. They have a bond, he cares about her to much to do that. He has visited her at the loft. He understands why she did it.” She explained the Y/h/c-ed girls’ situation to him. “You can go visit her if you would like.” Satomi suggested.

“Yeah. Yeah I think I might.” Brett nodded thinking he might actually. He hasn’t been able to stop thinking about that girl since their run in.

Y/n got up after hearing a knock on the door of the loft, being the only one home she got up to answer it. “Brett?”

“Y/n.” Brett smiled upon seeing the girl.

“What’re you doing here?” Y/n asked mirroring his expression while moving aside to let him in.

“I came to check on you.” Brett stated as he walked into the loft.

“Oh” Y/n let out softly.

“After what you did for me, and my sister. I wanted to make sure you were alright.” Brett told her looking her in the eyes. He was looking her up and down trying to make sure she was ok and wasn’t hurt.

“Its the least I could do. You’re not like what we’ve supposed to hunt. Plus Satomi is a friend.” Y/n smiled at him moving into the room.

Brett nodded moving to sit on the couch as Y/n did. “How’d you meet her?”

“Through Derek.” She answered still smiling at the boy around her age.

“Well, then how’d you meet the Hales? Let alone befriend them?” Brett laughed turning his body to face hers.

“Long story.” Y/n shrugged, thinking he wouldn’t be interested.

“I got time.” Brett shrugged hoping to get to know her more. He could tell she seemed a little shocked by his answer but then she smiled and started to tell him. Maybe this could lead to a friendship or more. But Brett was determined to make sure she knows he’d be on her side if she ever needed it.

After revealing exactly who he was working for and what exactly they were doing to all the girl's Nick had grabbed Y/n’s arm and taken her back into another room. Far away from all the others.

Once they entered the room Nick had let go of her arm and turned locking the door.

“Why?” Y/n asked with a timid voice, watching his back rise and fall with every breath.

“You know why.” he spoke leaning his head against the door. This was not how he wanted to tell her, if he ever was going to tell her. God he wished that those women never brought her into any of this.

“I don’t mean why you did all this. You already explained that back there.” she shook her head. Y/n was trying not to let her emotions show in her voice or body langue but it was getting increasingly hard. Especially when he knew her so well. “Did it all mean nothing? Was it all part of your plan?”

Nick turned around to face her upon hearing her question. She was referring to their relationship. This was one of the reasons why he never wanted her to find out.

Walking over to her he used his left hand to cup between her cheek and neck, while his right brushed back her hair as he looked her in the eyes. “You were never a part of the plan. That was just a happy surprise.”

“So it all-”

“It all meant something. At least to me it did.” He nodded as he moved his right hand to cup her cheek. Brushing his thumb across her cheek. “How about you?”

Y/n snuffled looking him in the eyes. “I loved you.”

“What about now? Now that you know I’m not who you thought I was.” Nick asked tilting his head just slightly to the side, waiting for her answer. Hoping deep down it was the one he wanted.

Y/n looked down before answering. “Yes.”

Nick stepped closer making their bodies touch completely as he watched her. A simple yes wasn’t good enough. He needed to hear it. “Say it.”

Y/n looked up at him with a ton of emotion in her eyes. “I still love you. I never stopped.”

That was all it took for Nick to pull her into a kiss, after the two of them finally needed to take a breath he stated. “Neither did I.”

“So what does this mean now?” Y/n asked leaning her forward against his as she caught her breath.

Nick sighed knowing this next part would go one of two ways. “I’d like you to join me.”

“Nick- I can’t. . .” Y/n sighed shaking her head pulling back from him but he wrapped an arm around her waist to stop her.

“Not like that. I know you’d never join in on this- what I’m doing.” he shook his head, Nick knows morally she’d never be able to do what he is but if she had no part in it? Then maybe they could still be together. Nick looked her in the eyes seeing how she was waiting to hear what he meant by ‘join him’. “Join me like, come with me. Let’s see where this can go. Be with me.”

Now Y/n had to make a decision.
