“Hey. How’s Katie?” Y/n asked as she heard Kelly enter their apartment. She had been on shift and got called to an emergency and couldn’t go with him to see her. Katie and Y/n had become close fast so she was very worried about the young girl.

“Not good.” Kelly said as he went to the fridge to get a beer.

“Has she said anything about what he might have done to her?” Y/n questioned as Kelly sat at the breakfast bar across from her.

“Not to me. But she was bruised up pretty badly and-” Kelly shook his head but the move he went on and the fact he was taking a breather before continuing had Y/n worried. “Y/n/n, we found her on a mattress and she talked to Erin alone.”

Y/n grimaced, it was obvious to her about what probably happened to the girl and Y/n felt for her. She moved over to the other side of the kitchen to be closer to Kelly. “kelly, I hate to say it but I think we both know what happened.”

Kelly let out a shaky breath hanging his head down. He felt like he had failed his little sister, and if he could fail her he could fail in protecting Y/n as well. “What do I do?”

Y/n placed her left hand on his back rubbing up and down to provide him with some form of comfort, while she went to hold his hand with her right. “Whatever you feel is right. I’ll stand by you no matter what you chose to do.”

Kelly lifted his head and turned his head to look at her. He couldn’t help but smile and squeeze her hand in reassurance. “I’m really grateful to have you. In my life, here with me.”

Y/n smiled at him leaning in to kiss his forehead. “I’ll always be here for you, Kelly. Promise.”

Good news update on my Google!

Okay so I went through over 300+ stories and put all the same fandoms under the same dogs of Google docs.

Also went through my Gmail (it's not my main email so I don't check it often) and that went down a ton as well.

Then I went through photos and saved a ton and deleted those and I'm still working on that but...

I went from Google saying that I'm "99% full" which for me is 15GB -to - only having 6GB full. So awesome and I can type again!

I have 4 stories that need to be typed and 8 + that need all the non-dailog done to be able to type those.

I am currently all the way to halfway through May 2023 in my queue

I am planning out "No Plans Part 2 - Billy Hargrove " for Christmas eve. This last year I made no plans part 1 and realized I could get 2 or 3 parts out of it so this coming Christmas will be part 2

I'm hoping I get the inspiration to write a "Scream" imagine for Halloween if not I have a star wars ones scheduled for Halloween.

I'm working on something for next year's May 4th STAR WARS Day

I'm am working on requested and they are scattered through this year and next.

“Hey.” Y/n greeted as Billy came in through her window. It was a normal way for Billy to enter since her brother hate’s him and Billy doesn't like him very much either.

“Hey.” Billy greeted back as he stood up fully and walked over to her. “Why are you in your room?”

Y/n shrugged as she put her book down. “Fighting with my brother.”

“Ah, well he makes it easy.” Billy nodded sitting on her bed facing her.

“That he can be.” She agreed smiling at him.

With that, the two just started talking about anything and nothing all the same. Being on summer break had its great privileges. Especially since they graduated and didn’t have to go back to that Hawkins hell hole.

After getting snacks and bringing them back up to Y/n’s room, the two sat up against the headboard of her bedframe. There was something billy wanted to ask her about.

“What are you doing tomorrow night?” Billy asked as he popped a chip into his mouth.

“4th of July?” Y/n squinted at him. Did he just not know the day? Or did he hate 4th of July? But Y/n had a inkleing that his father had something to do with it.

“Hmmm.” he nodded

Y/n wiped her hands off on her shorts before thinking about it and them answering. “Um, during the day the kids- including Max are coming over to swim, and then later we’re all going to a hill that we know of. Perfect spot to watch the fireworks.”

“Yeah, I heard about the Max part. Niel and Susan have ‘asked’ me to go with her throughout the day.” Billy explained with a grumble.

“Hmm. Asked huh?” Y/n knew all to well what that really meant.

“In a very Niel way.” Billy gave her a tight smile, knowing she would get what he meant.

“So he threatened you.” she hummed trying to control her anger towards his father. Y/n was the only person who knew besides Susan and Max. If Y/n was gonna murder anyone, it’d be Niel Hargrove.

“Yup.” Billy knew how much y/n hated how his father treated him. He hated it to but it was nice to have someone who cared. Cared about his situation and cared about him. Yeah, his dad did threaten him about going everywhere with Max on the 4th of July. Billy just hoped Y/n would be there to. “But on the bright side, it seems you’ll be there the whole time. So that makes things way better. Get to spend the whole day with you.”

Billy smiled leaning over so he could start his assault on her neck. y/n couldn’t help but giggle at his actions because one she found it cute and two it tickled. “Knowing you’ll be there makes it way better for me too.”

Y/n and Bily moved into a more comfortable laying down position, with Billy laying on top of her bit resting most of his weight on his forearms. They stayed like that till Billy had to head home.

After Billy left Y/n headed downstairs to make dinner with her brother. Y/n couldn’t wait to go to bed and wake up with it being Independence Day. She knew it was gonna be fun, it was one of her favorite holidays. But now that the whole gang and Billy were gonna be there. It was gonna be so fun.

“So your asshole boyfriends coming I was told.” Steve spoke as he and Y/n were getting all the food cut up and out for everyone since they’d all be arriving soon.

“Can you not?” Y/n sighed looking up at her twin brother. She understood that he and Billy didn’t like each other but he was seriously gonna try and start something? Today of all days. And even when he knew it was also the only way for Max to some today? “You know this is one of my favorite holidays, so can you not bash Billy? Please?”

With that said the two continued on with their task but Steve could never handle them being at odds.

“Hey.” Steve said getting her attention. “I’ll be chill, okay?”

Y/n smiled at him gratefully. “Thank you.”

“No problem.” Steve nodded hoping to not regret this. But just wanted her to be happy and sadly for him, Billy makes his sister happy.

“Well, I’m gonna get changed into a swimsuit and you should to. Everyone will be here soon.” Y/n smiled at him as she headed out of the kitchen.

“Yeah. Will do.” Steve agreed as he finished his portion fo the setup before heading upstairs to get changed.

It wasn’t long after they both changed that the kids and others like Nacy and Johnathan started showing up.

The last to show up was Max and Billy. But that was expected. “Hey, Max.” Y/n smiled as the redhead girl entered the Harrington house.

“Hey y/n.” Max greeted, as she looked at the older girl that had become like a sister to her. Max couldn’t help it, she ran over to Y/n and hugged her tight. “Thank you.”

“For what?” Y/n asked, alittle shocked at her behavior. Why was she thanking her?

“You make him happy.” Max stated as she pulled out of the hug, smiling at the female Harrington.

“He makes me happy to.” y/n smiled at Max. It was nice to hear and it was nice to say.

Max smiled at y/n one last time before heading out back to the pool where everyone else was.

Meanwhile, Billy had entered the house but judging by his face he didn’t hear what max said. Or her.

Billy stopped in his tracks as he saw Y/n standing in the kitchen in a bikini. He dropped his bag and licked his lips. “You look.”

Billy didn’t bother finishing his sentence as he scooped her up into his arms, bringing her into a very heated kiss.

“Thank you. You don’t look bad yourself.” Y/n bit her lip as they pulled out of the kiss.

It was a fun, hot summer day but everyone was shaving a great time. Everyone hangout at the Harringtons and swam pretty much all day. Once it started to get dark everyone got dressed in some kind of clothing. At least the girls did, the guys only had to put on shirts.

Then they all headed out to where they planned to watch the fireworks. It was a place Billy hadn’t been to before.

“So how do you know of this place?” Billy asked as they walked up the hill.

Y/n shrugged her shoulders as they walked hand in hand up the hill. “Kids found it years back.”

“It’s nice, and you were right. It’s got a nice view. For Hawkins.” billy stated as they reached the top.

“Well, since I showed you the best view of Hawkins. You better show me the best view in Cali.” y/n smiled up at him, hugging his arm. They plan to get the hell outta Hawkins. y/n had lived there her whole life she wanted to see somewhere new. Not like their parents were ever home. Steve didn’t know what he was doing. Plus no one wanted to stay around with the upside down and everything that kept coming back.

“Oh I will.” he smiled back at her. Billy couldn't help but be excited to take her to California. He pulled her closer and wrapped his arm around her shoulders. “You can bet on it.”

“Good. I’ll hold you to it.” Y/n squeezed him around the torso. She couldn’t wait for him to show her around his home state and town.

And then the fireworks started and everyone looked up, watching the beautiful spectacle light up the sky. Billy couldn't help looking back at Y/n in his arms. “I hope you will.”

“Are you nervous?” Y/n asked tilting her head up to look at her boyfriend.

“Yeah.” Isaac answered with a shaky breath.

“Why? You use to play. What feel’s different?” Y/n asked with furrowed brows hoping she could help him out.

“I haven’t played since I left for France.” Isaac told her looking at her with nervous eyes.

“Muscle memory. Don’t sweat it, Lahey.” Y/n shook her head lightly telling him not to worry.

“I can’t do this.” Isaac said after staring at his Jersy laying on his bed.

“Yes, you can.” Y/n encouraged him with a smile.

“Y/n, you don’t understand. You’re a Hale.” Isaac shook his head letting out a sigh.

“That doesn’t make me invincible. My last name doesn’t make me fearless.” Y/n gave him a light smile while biting her lip.

“Yeah, and what does Y/n Hale fear?” Isaac asked he hated how harsh it came out. He didn’t mean it.

“Losing people is at the top of that list… I lost more than half my family when I was little. I barely remember my mom’s face and I don’t remember what she sounded like. I’m afraid to lose Derek and Peter. I’m afraid of losing all my friends. I’m afraid of losing you.” Y/n spoke in a very quiet and slightly shaky tone.

“I’m not going anywhere.” Isaac walked over to her where she sat on his bed and pulled her into his chest. She smiled up at him gratefully.

“Enough of this sad mushy stuff. Let’s get you your lacrosse playing Mojo back.” She laughed at her own choice of words, wanting to change the subject.

Isaac raised his brows in question. “How do you suppose we do that?”

“I have a few ideas.” Y/n wiggled her eyebrows.

“Oh?” he smirked

“Hmmmm. And we’ll be done before you have to get to the game.” Y/n hummed, licking her lips.

Isaac laughed looking at her with surprise. “That’s in 2 hours.”

“Plenty of time.” Y/n leaned up to kiss him before pulling him down on top of her.

“I’m worried about you.” Y/n stated to her boyfriend as she nervously played with her fingers.

“I’ll be fine.” Cedric smiled over his shoulder as he grabbed his wand off his desk.

“They say this is the most dangerous challenge, Cedric.” Y/n stresses hoping he would understand where she’s coming from.

“Hey.” Cedric turned walking towards her. He reached his hands up to cup her cheeks, tilting her face to look him in the eyes. “I’ll be fine. Ok? Promise.”

As they headed to the final challenge. A maze. Once everyone was there and ready to start y/n had to move to the stands. Cedric turned around and looked up to where Y/n sat in the front row of the stands.

“I’ll be back before you know it.” he reached up to hold her hand for a brief moment, smiling up at her.

“I’ll hold you to that.” She smiled back best she could given how nervous she was for him. Y/n squeezed his hand back as tight as she could.

Waiting for Harry and Cedric was getting very nerve racking. Others showed up but they were still missing. Once they came through everyone cheered happily to see them come through okay. Y/n was happy as well till she studied the look on Cedric’s face. Specifically his eyes, and that was all it took for her to know something happened. But she’d ask him later, as for now she just wanted to hold him. Know he’s okay.

“Oh thank God.” She said as she reached him from running down the stairs to hug him.

Cedric wrapped his arms around her tightly once she was in his reach. After what he just went through and finding out Voldermorts back Cedric was just happy to be holding her in his arms once again. “I told you I’d be ok.”

“We all ready to go?” Bonnie asked everyone as they got ready to head into another prison world.

“Yup.” Damon said coming up next to the witch.

‘Be safe’ Y/n spoke through her mind to Kai. If he would have been looking at her she would’ve signed, but since he wasn’t she used their connection. Y/n wasn’t always mute but after being treated horribly by her family for years it just felt like the safer option. 

Kai and Y/n had known each other for a very long time. They understood each other. Both had cast a spell long ago that made it they could communicate through just their minds if they wanted. He was one of the only people who knew all the details about why Y/n decided to be mute, and he wouldn’t change a thing. He learned sign lounge to communicate with her as well. Y/n has magic being a witch and all but the two found out early on in their friendship that for reasons they could not explain Kai could siphon from her and it didn’t hurt her. 

Y/n’s theory was it’s because since she didn’t talk she learned to do magic without speaking. Making her a very powerful witch. So powerful she has magic to spare.

“I will.”Kai smiled turning to face her. She was one of the only people that has ever cared about his well-being. “See you when I get back.”

It felt like forever to Y/n as she waited for them to all come back. Sitting in the Salvatore boarding house was not as entertaining as one might think. At least there was bourbon.

Y/n rushed to stand up when she saw Damon, Elena, and Bonnie appear. ‘Where’s Kai?’ Y/n signed looking around and not seeing her tall friend.

“Y/n-” Elena stepped forward but Y/n backed up before asking again.

‘Where is he?’ she signed fast this time.

“I left him there.” Bonnie stated looking proud of herself.

‘Why?’ Y/n glared at the witch. She never liked the bitch witch and here was another reason not to.

“Because he’s a monster y/n.” Bonnie said rolling her eyes at the mute girls expression.

Y/n shook her head in disbelief, no matter how sorry Kai was going to be she’d never forgive him, or believe him. ‘You don’t know or understand him.’

Y/n looked at each person in the room before grabbing her bag and heading to the door, obviously upset.

“Y/n, where are you going?” Elena called after her but she got no response Y/n just left slamming the door on her way out.

“Well, she took that well.” Damon snarked as he to left the room.

It didn’t take Y/n long to figure out another way into the prison world. She took it immediately. She remembered to wear a jacket but once she got there she wished she had worn snow boots as well. Once she found Kai it was very much filled with relief. ‘I’m gonna get you out of here, Kai. I promise’. She thought to herself as she headed off to the house in the distance. Before she even got up all the steps the front door opened.

“Y/n?” Kai said his voice full of shock. Y/n waved and that confirmation had Kai running to the shivering girl. Wrapping her up in his arms. “Its so good to see you. GOD I missed you.”

‘Its good to see you as well.’ Y/n said telepathically hugging him back. Y/n held him and did the spell again.

Once they pulled back Kai looked around and noticed they were now standing in Y/n’s home. “Did you get me out?” 

Y/n nodded smiling up at her friend. Watching his shoulders sag as a result of stress leaving him.

“God I love you.” Kai smiled pulling her to him in an even tighter hug than last time. Relieved to be holding her again. Bonnie Bennet was gonna pay for separating him from his girl. He’d make sure of it.
