Heavyarms build Pt. 1

Saying bye bye to the red but I love the orange I made. So many undertones and adding the clear red to it has such a neat effect.

I was a bit skeptical while painting the limbs but once I put it on with the orange I was so happy! It’s exactly how I wanted it. :} ❤️❤️

The packs on the bottom left are the original color.

The picture doesn’t really do it justice, it’s more of a beige with a hint of green. Maybe when I take “professional” looking photos it will show or when I put it next to the other gundams.

Waiting on some more supplies and paints so this is as far as I can go until I get them in. So I’ll do the decals while I’m waiting. I’m really happy with the results and it’s turning out exactly how I planned it.

Did half the decals and set it in the cabinet with the others for color comparison. Also so our kitty doesn’t get to it. I’m pleased with it.

Swapped hands with my wing gundam. That kit has a lot of issues but I wanted the open hands for wing. Also, painted the chest Gatling guns in alclad 2 gunmetal.

Picked up alclad 2 “white aluminum” to do the pods. Decided to mount all the pod hatches since they don’t need the covers to be on the model.

Since I’ve been working on a new deathscythe I thought I’d give a bit of a call back to the first gundam I have ever painted and take new photos. I was so new to this and extremely impatient. Lots of silvering on the decals, nibs that weren’t properly sanded down, paint defects. I destroyed a few decals and used some of the transfer decals for some parts. I really had no idea what I was doing. I’m still learning but I have learned so much since then. Most of all I’ve learned to take my time. Painting these gundams is a therapy to me. It’s one of my many anchors, so I just wanna thank all of you who compliment or show interest in these as I’m doing them ❤️❤️❤️

So, looking through my glory of the losers mangas, I noticed that the Deathscythe Hell is actually blue and grey with black wings in this version and I hate it.

I like the concept of using the blue from the previous version but I don’t think it works with the theming of this version. so i came up with some other versions involving blue 

this would be if it was all blue but i came up with some more versions involving the blue and white colorscheme

finally a version with a grey torso, a version where the white is the lavender grey and finally made the wing spikes orange

Ok, so hear me out... I had an idea watching G Gundam. Since the devil gundam has a death army and I’ve been coloring deathscythe.... well..

There was a bubble. Poked it with a brush. Took part of the decal. Hand painted to fix it 😖
