Recently changed the blue on my RX-78. I originally went for more realistic colors but I really fell in love with the verka blue. I may use this color on something else in the future.

Im half considering re-doing the red too.

Liking the results. Got a clear base ahead of time so I don’t gotta worry about him falling over.

Looking at the other gundams all together it made me want to change wings blue to the Ver Ka blue.

Wing gundam update from my IG. I’m a little unsure.

Project D2

Started on the wings using mr color and the paint guide for the D1 deathscythe but instead of red I used fluorescent red. I then went in and used 5% less fluorescent red over the main parts and kept the recesses the original color I painted it. Then comparing to my original deathscythe that I used tamiya colors following the color guide.

Finished up the cloak, you can see the difference in colors.

Painting the main blue parts semi gloss while the orange and red are gloss and going to paint the limbs matte

Got the frame done up. Painted it with alclad steel.

I had some left over wing Ver Ka decals from a failed project so I decided to use them on this model.

Just a snap build using the D1 white parts to see how it looks while I prep the purple parts.

Half shaded (except the shoulder, knee spike, and forearm guards) haven’t done the left side yet.

Heavyarms build pt. 2

I haven’t touched this thing in a week due to the flu. Finally did the leg packs. Still waiting on the Micromesh I ordered so I can finally paint the gold titanium.

Painted the tank and going to do the ammo chain in beige too, the Gatling gun will be interesting

Finally matched the orange, Gatling gun is coming along nicely :)

Finally got all the stuff in for the gold titanium starting to throw that on.

Have to redo one part but otherwise gonna throw some decals on and it should be good
