Wing ver Ka Anime coloring
I had an idea to color the Wing Gundam Ver. Ka like the TV series. The Anime color scheme makes me want to do a gunpla like this. someone buy me an MG wing ver ka šĀ

I was reading something on the gundam wiki and it says the buster rifle on the katoki wing gundam can be mounted on its back waist...

The new Wing project. Pt. 1
I havenāt been into painting frames because I wasnāt a fan. Until I found this color, (alclad 2 steel) which I initially got for Heavyarms yellow parts but I found it too dark. However, On the wing gundam there are quite a few parts to paint the frame color and I didnāt feel like color matching. So now I have to go back and paint all my other gundam a frames š¬
What did I get myself into? š©
Used alclad 2 gunmetal on the shoulder Vulcans. The color turned out better than expected. Iāll be using this color on Heavyarms Gatling gun.
Trying something new. Noticed on the katoki illustrations the inner parts of the armor are the same color as the frame. I thought that was a logical thing to do so Iām gonna try it and hopefully it turns out well.
Doing my first attempt at seam hiding
Decided to use alclad 2 ājet exhaustā for all the gundam boosters. Itās kind of in between steel (right) and gunmetal (bottom)
Painted the white of the wing. Shaded with Vallejo ivory and highlight with just tamiya white. The boosters are jet exhaust.

Liking the results. Got a clear base ahead of time so I donāt gotta worry about him falling over.
Looking at the other gundams all together it made me want to change wings blue to the Ver Ka blue.

Wing gundam update from my IG. Iām a little unsure.
I donāt know why I do stuff like this. But I do. Anyway. Progress report on wing gundam. Most likely tumblr is gonna compress the shit out of this so enjoy the 8bit resolution š¤Ŗ
Slow progress but I got the shield and the wing done (except I forgot to paint a part when I redid all the brass) Iām still planning on mounting the buster rifle in the back and I think I figured out how

Wing Gundam
I canāt believe I finally finished. The centerpiece for the Wing 5. Wing Gundam. Im so damn happy with this, I went through so much crap to get the brass right. LOTS of first time seam hiding. I put so much love into this and it came out just how I wanted it! ā¤ļøIām considering mounting the buster rifle on the back but I have to get some parts and manufacture that. I have very neat plans for this thing that you will see in the near future. So for now this is finished!

I canāt believe Iām done. But!! Lots of photos to take and theyāre too big for my construction paper method.... might have to buy a backdrop š¤¦š¼āāļø
