Got The Mowhawk Done But The Helmet Base Hasnt Been Painted Yet. Not Sure Why The Green Looks So Dark

Got the mowhawk done but the helmet base hasn’t been painted yet. Not sure why the green looks so dark in this video but I can assure you it’s not. Looks much closer to this image

Got the front thruster done. It’s magnesium, on the inner and outer lower rings, white aluminum in the core, and aircraft aluminum on the outer skirt of the thruster.

I was a little concerned with the green shading not being subtle enough but I decided to go through with it any way and I’m glad I did. Also that pelvic polished aluminum accent makes me so happy :))

What tool do you use to make the super thin lines on the face and such? I have been having trouble doing that. - a beginner

Led pencil! I think it’s a .3mm, and on a matte finish so you can erase. :) although on this one I used a gundam pen and it was too thick 😬

The legs were done with pencil, face with the pen.

This gundam was a learning process. I learned how to use Alclad II High Shines and Aqua Gloss properly. Made my own custom colors, forgot the formula for the orange so had to try and match the Gatling gun and tank to the body orange.

This is another gundam that gives me a great feeling of accomplishment. Making my own colors and executing the paint job how I envisioned. This was how I originally intended to post my other gundams. More dynamic poses and lighting but I didn’t have all the tools. I will be re taking photos of the others to match this style and delete the previous posts. So look forward to more posts like this.
