I'm not crying over Hunter gingerly standing up from the rock with clearly achy joints and revealing a body that's been able to enjoy life and comfort and not need to be in survival mode every second of its existence. I am normal over all of the implications. I can function as a human being thinking about the soft, gentle life they were able to live

Ok but I actually don’t think Hunter will be mad at Crosshair.

Remember what Crosshair said to him in ep. 5? “She went through what she did because of *your* failed leadership.”

Hunter knows more deeply than anyone what that guilt feels like, so I really don’t think he’s going to take it out on Crosshair: maybe he would have 5 episodes ago, but they’ve grown too much since then. Hunter being angry at Crosshair will just undo all the development we’ve seen so far.

Also we’ve already seen angry desperate hunter looking for omega. I think we might see something different this time.

I think Hunter is going to slowly start losing hope. I don’t think he has the energy to be angry anymore. He’s barely been holding it together as it is, and we’re seeing the physical toll all this has been taking on him too.

I don’t think he’s going to snap, I think he’s going to crash.

Last time he lost Omega, he had only Wrecker to keep him sane. And Wrecker is not the type to yell at Hunter and push him out of his self destructiveness: we saw him as a quiet supporter, a voice of reason, strength and consistency. That works for a reckless Hunter about to snap, but it doesn’t work for an exhausted Hunter about to crash. You know what does work though? Crosshair.

This is why I think Hunter’s reaction will be immensely different this time: I think we’ll see him start to give up, and Crosshair will be the one to yell at him to get his shit together bc that’s who he is. Their dynamic is different from Hunter and Wreckers dynamic, so it only makes sense that we’ll see something different in the wake of a similar scenario.

I really do not think Hunter has the energy to be angry anymore. I don’t think there’s much more he can take. And I think it would be SO interesting and important to really see Crosshair stepping into the protective role that Hunter has so long held, because he’s becoming less and less able to hold it together.

Honestly this might just be me as a Hunter girlie manifesting Hunter whump lol. But I really do think that another angry Hunter @ Crosshair is redundant and unlikely. There are other parts of their dynamic they’re more likely to explore.

Anyway Ahsoka and Cody meeting during the rebellion and being completely unable to talk about Obi-Wan because in Cody’s mind he has to be alive or else he killed him and in Ahsoka’s mind he has to be dead or else he abandoned her
