A/n: I'M SO SOFT FOR YANCY

Genre: Fluff, Headcannons, Angst if you squint

Kinda dense, doesn't think it’s anything to really worry about no matter how bad he feels 

Usually he’s fine when he gets sick, I mean years in prison there have been a couple things passed around now and then especially during flu season 

But Yancy’s built up an immune system 

On the occasions were it is bad enough for him to need to lay down you will have to force him in bed or he’ll just insist that he’s fine

He’s very reluctant to accept your help 

He doesn't want to bother you with any of his problems

In his eyes your this wonderful kind, loving person willing to waste time helping some as bad as him 

He doesn't want to waste your time or breath, so he’s very stubborn when it comes to letting you take care of him or help him in any way

Very grateful once you finally manage to convince him to let you help him

Will show his gratitude in any way he can

If your tired after watching over him and helping him he’ll be sure to try and get you anything you need

Food, Water, Blankets, anything you need

You’ll have to lightly remind him that you’re supposed to be taking care of him, although you do appreciate his efforts 

Is very much a child when it comes to taking medicine

Hates the taste of it and will complain every time 

“Youse don’t have anything else less bitter?”

“For the last time no Yancy, so please just take this and then I’ll get you a soda”

If he starts to feel cold due to his fever he’ll absolutely snuggle up to you like a lovesick puppy 

He’ll apologize for ‘invading’ your personal space though so just reassure him that it’s fine or he’ll feel guilty about it for a while

“Youse don’t have to do dis ya know?” Yancy murmured his voice sounded like two pieces of leather being rubbed together.

His breath was ragged and shallow, chest heaving in and out like a dog left outside on a hot day. Anxious of the state of the Boston man who laid before you. The wind whistled through the bars of the cell, the bitter wind nipping at your bare skin leaving a shiver down your spine.

You frowned sympathetically, the cold couldn’t have been making this any easier for Yancy as a soft shiver took hold of him for a moment. Taking the wet cloth you lightly pressed it to Yancy's forehead.

“Don’t say that. I told you I want to be here.” you softly scold him, he frowned in reply. “Don’t youse have family or somewhere ya rather be, than having to sit here stuck with me?” he sulked a guilty look crossing his features as he turned from you fixing his gaze to the wall.

Yancy hated this feeling of weakness, he wasn’t afraid of vulnerability, no not at all. He hated the idea he was bothering you with this, he didn’t want you to waste your time on him, especially when there are people more worthy of your time and in his eyes Yancy wasn’t one of them.

“Yancy…” you cooed gently, taking hold of his shoulder turning him to you. The broken look in his sweet hazel eyes made your heart clench in pain.

“Yancy, listen to me. I wanted to be here for you, okay? I made the choice to come here because I care about you. And this is just more time to spend with you which you know is always a good thing.”

you smiled grasping the man's hand lightly, as a sweet smile softly returned to ruggish features he leaned up to you rewarding you with a kiss on the cheek.

“Danks, I uh really appreciate youse being here.” he replied.

“Anytime Yancy.”

A/n: You guys asked for Donnie so you shall receive. This could've been a whole fic but I'm pretty lazy today. But maybe if you guys want I'll make this into a whole fic

It had been a habit for as long as you could remember

But despite what certain people may have thought you really only used nicknames as a way to show affection to your friends 

So when you had become friends with April and eventually met the turtles this habit of yours persisted on throughout your friendship 

But this habit had really only caught the attention of one specific turtle 

Donnie

You and Donnie hit it off immediately, you found you admired the purple clad turtle for his scientific intellect and he found you to be one of the only people that could get a genuine laugh out of him 

It was blatantly obvious to everyone that you two got along, in fact they would go as far to say that you two were pretty attached to each other even though Donnie would never say it aloud

So one day when you and Donnie had been sitting in the kitchen together as you cooked and you had called him ‘Dear’ he lost it

Donnie simply ceased to function so after five minutes of silence between the two of you you had spoken up

“Donnie?” 

Once again you had been met with silence 

You quirked an eyebrow turning to look at the purple brother 

But Donnie had snapped out of it for long enough to stand up and mumble a jumble excuse before dashing out of the kitchen 

This confused you to no end but without a proper explanation you stood awkwardly by yourself in the kitchen until a certain orange turtle had walked in 

Meanwhile Donnie was sitting at his desk in his lab contemplating that moment in his mind over and over again as his face began to heat up more and more with each passing second

It had been at least half an hour an Donnie had grown bored without you around to talk to so begrudgingly he shuffled his way to the kitchen 

Donnie stopped mid way to hear your laughter 

Confused he crept closer to hear another voice 

He peaked around the corner to see you and Mikey laughing and talking as if you were old friends 

Suddenly Donnie felt a twinge of jealousy twist up in his chest yet he continued to watch

But the feeling only grew as he heard you call Mikey “Sweetie”

Well that was enough for Donnie as he stormed in glaring harshly at Mikey as you stood there awkwardly until Mikey quietly excused himself from the kitchen leaving you and Donnie facing each other

For once you had actually felt tense around him

But you shook the tense, awkward feeling from your body as began to speak up 

“So um are you okay?” you asked hesitatinly, worried you might have upset him earlier 

“Yeah, yeah, I was just kinda…embarrassed earlier.”  he murmured quietly 

Then Donnie grimaced

“Then Mikey came in here and…” he mumbled glaring at the ground 

You suddenly understood exactly what he meant, it was like everything had suddenly clicked 

Donnie was jealous

You offered a soft smile as you walked up to Donnie and wrapped your arms around his torso tightly 

“Don’t worry I’m not replacing you with Mikey.” you said as Donnie scoffed

“I wasn’t thinking that…” 

“Sure bud.” 

Donnie slowly melted into your embrace returning your smile

Danny groaned, as he stared into the navy blue of the dark sky. Feeling himself space out as the soft breeze kissed his face as it blew past him, a chill creeping down his spine as he glared into the void glimmers of light shining down taunting him, the stars had always left him feeling empty.

He looked up at these giants of light and suddenly felt so small, it left him feeling helpless. He hated it. Yet somehow when his thoughts drifted back to you, he felt a wave of relief, his muscles loosened as his chest grew tight. Why the hell was he thinking of you? You weren’t supposed to be anything to him. 

You were nothing. 

Then why did he hesitate? Why was his gloved hand shaking before your fearful eyes, gazing upon his shaking figure. Your ragged breath, guilting him, making him feel so filthy. This fear is what he thrived off of! Then why did he feel so helpless?

Running from him like he was some sort of animal. He hated the way you looked at him. Your pretty eyes filled with horror when he came into view.

Why couldn’t you look at him with kinder eyes? No, what the hell was he talking about. He shook himself from these uncharacteristically mushy thoughts.

Since when did Danny Johnson have time to be existential? Not enough time if you asked him. He still needed to get you and that asshole Jake if he wanted to win this round. He wasn’t really looking to be punished by the Entity again this week. 

Danny crouched back down surveying the surrounding area carefully. He knew you were here somewhere. One of those brats from earlier had ratted you out to him hoping he’d spare them in return, fat chance. Didn’t really matter because this would finally be over.     

Danny was interrupted by the sound of rustic metal gears of a generator being finished and with that. The loud siren of the gates opening. Danny's head snapped around right as you and Jake sprinted from your hiding spot in the bushes nearby. 

The heavy thudding of footsteps gave your position. Danny's heart almost stopped when his eyes drifted to you and Jake's hands. That asshat had the fucking adacuity to hold your hand. Danny's gripp on his knife grew tighter and tighter until he could no longer feel his hand. His jaw clenched as his breath shifted to ragged and distorted breathing. 

His eyes held a storm of rage. Adrenaline filled his body as he felt his legs carrying him towards you two, almost as if he was on autopilot. 

As soon as Danny was close enough Danny plunges his knife into the brunette back causing him to let out a blood curdling scream as he fell to the ground with a sharp thud. But Danny was finished.

His mind was clouded with a fog of hatred. Danny snarled as Jake cried attempting to crawl away from the masked man. Danny watched the pathetic display. Almost like he was a cat playing with its prey. 

But not this time Danny was in no mood to taunt, he felt an animalistic charge fill him. As he plopped down onto Jake preventing him from crawling away.

Danny ripped the knife from Jake's back causing the man beneath him to whimper. His cries of pain were caught off as Danny plunged the knife into his back once more pushing it deeper into his back twisting it as a cracking sound echoed out, but it wasn’t enough. 

Danny kept pushing until there were no more screams, no more struggling, just gurgling as a crimson liquid began to pour from Jake's mouth as he stopped moving completely. Silence. 

Danny ripped the knife out as he pushed himself off the body beneath him. 

He looked up to see your horrified expression, your face pale, your lip quivered as you stared at the dead body of your friend. 

Danny glared at you, as he stomped over to you. Forcing you up, by roughly grabbing the collar of your shirt. It seemed something in you had snapped as you began to scream and kick against him. 

“Stop it.” he growled as you continued to scream and cry. Danny’s face twisted to one of frustration. Losing his patience he threw you to the ground, quickly he stomped down on your leg as hard as he could, stopping you from scampering away.

Danny grabbed a fist full of your hair dragging you from the exit. Your cries and pleas fell upon deaf ears. Danny tossed you over his shoulder making his way to a nearby hook, the sky twisted into a muggy gray. He threw you up onto the hook. 

“Why did it have to be him.” he asked though the question sounded more demanding than he intended. You looked him in the eyes once again the same fearful expression gracing your features, leaving a bitter feeling in Danny's stomach. 

“Why couldn’t you look at me like that.” Danny's voice barely over a whisper, not bothering to lift his head up, he could feel hot tears of frustration run down his cheeks. He knew the entity had come for you; there was nothing he could do but watch. There were no happy endings for monsters, and especially not for him.
