He’s very curious about how you can walk so quietly, and you’ve startled him on more than one occasion
He might get worried that you aren’t eating enough, so he might check you over in the Med Bay
Once he figures out that you just have very quiet footsteps he’ll calm down
Although now you’ve got him constantly looking over his shoulder in case you try to sneak up on him
“You are one sneaky weasel schatz!” He says whilst ruffling your hair
Scout
“Woah! What da hell? You tryna copy Spy or somethin’?”
At first he’s little creeped out by how quietly you can walk, cause ya’ll know how he feels about Spy
But over time he’ll start to warm up to the concept, often playing jokes on the other team members
Ngl I think he might ask you if you can teach him how to be as quiet as you
Heavy
Like Medic, I think he’d be curious about your ability to walk with making barely any noise

He might also worry that your under eating, and he might take you to Medic to make sure your getting enough food
He thinks it’s a useful skill to have, you having slipped by the enemy team’s defences to secure a win multiple times
He might be slightly more vigilant, occasionally glancing over his shoulder in case your trying to sneak up on him.

You two make a habit of sneaking up on each other to see who can startle each other better

When he first met you, boy was hyped
Finally he’s not the youngest on the team
He’s the first to come up and greet you, slinging his arm around your shoulders and practically dragging you inside
He doesn’t really get why you’re so shy at first, often hiding in your room or not speaking much
He’s persistent though, often pulling you out of your hiding places and constantly talking your ear off
You started to warm up to him over time, him as an older brother
When he finds out about that, it’s a huge ego boost for him
Pretty neutral in terms of your gender identity, often giving you pointers on how to be more masculine
He once offered to beat up a random stranger for insulting you about your trans identity, to which you smiled shyly at how much he cared about you

When they found out that there was going to be a new recruit, he was really excited, because yay! A new friend!
They might be a bit confused about your shyness, because what? What do you have to be shy about?
But with the more time you spend around them, the more you start to feel comfortable around them, viewing them as a younger sibling
Their pretty chill about your gender identity, and they make little gifts for you in the colours of the trans flag

He’s probably the friendliest guy on the team
He’ll greet you with a one armed hug and one of the warmest smiles ever
He might be a bit skeptical about having someone your age on the team, but he keeps his friendly demeanour
Sadly he can’t take you to the bar because of your age, but he does like to sit with you at the base and talk with you
Pretty supportive of your gender identity. “Aye, you don’t have to worry lad. No friend o’ mine is gonna feel uncomfortable in their own skin.”
Will beat up anyone who tries to insult you about your gender identity
Oml, this was another fun one to write. To whoever requested this, I’m sorry I didn’t do all the mercenaries, I was feeling tired and couldn’t concentrate, so I hope these three will be okay.

You and Scout had always been friends, ever since you first met. You'd been hired to work for the RED/BLU Team as a (class name), and you were pretty hyped about it. You'd arrived to the base, and the first person to come and greet you was Scout. "Hey there! You're da new guy, right?" he'd said, holding his hand out to you "Yeah, that's me." You'd replied, shaking his hand. He smiled and shook back before letting go and stepping back a bit. "Nice to meet'cha, the name's Scout." "I'm Y/N." Ever since then, you'd become very close, always joking around together, playing pranks on the other members in your team. You were practically inseparable.
Today had been a good day, with you and Scout securing another win for your team. Both of you were now sitting on the roof of the base with a couple cans of Bonk!, the stars gleaming high over head, laughing about random things. "Oh man, Y/N, I think I might fall in love with you if you keep being this funny." Scout had finally wheezed, clutching his sides. You laughed along with him. I mean, it was just some playful banter. Right? After a few seconds you both managed to calm down, still letting out a chuckle every now and then. You lay back on the roof tucking your arms behind your head as you gazed at the stars. Scout looked over at you smiling. He couldn't help but stare at you, resting his head on his hand. The more he thought about it, the more he realised how handsome you were. Your hair, your eyes, your smile... He quickly snapped his gaze away, a red tint dusting his cheeks. He didn't actually like you, right? Right?? He liked Miss Pauling, didn't he? So why was he feeling this way about you? His head suddenly shot up, his eyes wide. He was bisexual. "You okay?" you asked, propping yourself up on your elbows and looking at him, slightly concerned. "Wha? Oh, yeah, I'm fine." He turned to you, trying to look like he hadn't just realised he liked you. "Okay.." you lay back down, glancing at him every now and then. He turned his head to look up, although he wasn't looking at the stars. So. He was bi, and he had a crush the size of the sun on his best friend. And he had no idea what to do about it.

Poly Head cannons w/ Engie and Spy (Romantic)

Engies love language is acts of service and words of affirmation, and Spy’s is gift giving and quality time
They’re actually really sweet to be around
Engie is such a good cook tho ngl, and I like to think that he makes your favourite food when your down
Spy on the other hand will comfort you by inviting you to his smoking room and just letting you rant about whatever you’re upset about
I also think they’d really like to hold your hands, Engie on one side of you and Spy on the other as you walk
In terms of physical affection, besides the hand holding, I think Engie would like giving you kisses on the cheek a lot. It’s cute to him to see you get all shy and smiley about it when he does it
Spy, however, is a full on romantic. I’m talking every kind of affection imaginable; from holding hands to full on make out sessions
When you go on dates, it’s normally somewhere secluded, like a park or a beach
You all like to cuddle together, you often getting sandwiched between them
They’re pretty calm if you ever have to go away for something. Engie will make you a nice dinner for when you get back, and Spy will help as best he can
Hoo boy, this was a great one, and really enjoyed writing it. Getting a lot of TF2 requests tho, wouldn’t mind a Bad Batch one. Just saying

They also really like sitting behind you and stroking your wings, murmuring incoherently about random things, while you sit and listen quietly

I also think he’d love to have them wrapped around him when you cuddle. He likes the sense of security it brings him, being surrounded by your feathers

I think at first he pretends to not be impressed by your wings, when really he’s internally screaming at how pretty they are
I think he also likes helping you groom them, always with expensive shampoo and stuff, cause he doesn’t want to see your wings as anything less than perfect
“Spy, this is the third time you’ve groomed me this week.” “I know, I know, but ‘ou’re wings are magnifique, (magnificent) and I will not be seeing them in a mess.”
He loves it when you let him touch them, taking the utmost care when he does to not rumple the feathers.
And because he’s a flirt he kisses them too, normally at the place where they connect to the shoulder, as it’s the most sensitive area.

If you’re insecure about yourself and your body, expect to be bombarded with compliments and affection from them, always reassuring you that you’re amazing and you deserve to be loved (bc you do 🩷)
If you haven’t had your top surgery yet, Sniper might teach you how to bind with bandages, which is what he used to do
They understand gender dysphorisa, having dealt with it quite a few times, so they’ll try and help you with it with what they used to do to cope with it
Overall just really sweet together

ʚ Confessions ɞ
It had been a few days since Scout had realised his feelings for you, and he’d been trying to distance himself from you, something that hurt you greatly. You didn’t understand it. Was it something you did? Something you said? You didn’t know. What you did know was that something was wrong with Scout. You’d tried talking to him about it, but every time he’d shut you down and say something about being tired. One day you decided that you’d had enough. It was after that day’s battle that you cornered him in the locker room, determined to know what was bugging him.
“Alright, what’s up with you?” You said, blocking the door that lead out of the room. Scout tried to get past you but you were quick to block him. “I’m serious, Scout. Why have you been avoiding me?” He winced at the hurt in your tone. He hadn’t meant to hurt you, he really hadn’t, but every time that you looked at him he could feel his heart speed up and his palms get sweaty. He was scared of you finding out about his feelings, but now it seemed like they were going to come out either way. He took a deep breath, steeling himself for what he was about to say.
“(Y/N)… there’s something I gotta tell ya.”
You raised your eyebrows. This didn’t sound like your Scout at all, with his quiet tone and downcast gaze. He was silently grateful for his hat, which somewhat hid his flushed cheeks.
“Okay? What is it? I won’t get mad if that’s what you’re worried about.”
“O-okay, so um… th-the thing is… I..,” Scout inwardly cursed himself for his stuttering, and your worried eyes on him didn’t make it any better. He suddenly lunged forward and crashed his lips into yours, sending you stumbling a little from the momentum. You were stunned. Was this real? Was Scout actually kissing you right now?? After a few seconds he pulls away, tipping his hat down to hide his face, which resembles an overripe tomato. You stood there staring at him, your face equally as flushed. “I-I’ve been avoiding ya because I love ya, (Y/N). I realised it when we were up on the roof. I-I understand if you hate me now or don’t want to talk to me anymore, but-“
Before he could say anything else, you lunged forward and smashed your lips against his, sending you both toppling over onto the floor. If his face wasn’t flushed before, it was now. You could actually feel the heat coming off of it. After a few seconds you pulled away, smiling broadly at him.
“You’re such an idiot.” You said. He smiled back softly and kissed you again. You lay there for a moment, kissing each other gently when a loud voice cut through your moment.
“WHAT IN SAM HILL IS GOING ON IN HERE?!” You turned to see Soldier staring down at you, his expression shocked. You glanced back at Scout, knowing you were in for an earful. He smiled lopsidedly at you. You smiled back. At least, now, you were together. And that was really mattered.
Whew, this was pretty good to write. Thanks to the anon who requested the first part, otherwise this wouldn’t exist.
