When I made the speedpaint I had 0 planning, I just drew the guys. So when I got to backgrounds I was so stumped, I even considered deleting all the props and guys to make a new comspoition 😭

How did you do the glitch effect for the vase comic?

merge everything into one layer, and then usw the wave effect in csp (don’t mind the choice of kiryu as the sample picture) (also if not clip studio user—any image editing program that has a wave filter should do)

specifically the rectangle one (though you can use other types of waves too)

then just stack the wave effect until you’re happy

i usually like to set the Waved Layer to a different layer mode so that it mixes with the original image and add some extra color correction to make it look even more like a broken screen (contrast set up to max should usually do the trick but really it’s up to your own discretion)
