The Servant Of A Vampire Part 8.
The Servant of a Vampire Part 8.
You stood in the Throne Room, wearing a bright *Least favourite colour* dress. This colour was horrible! Terrible! You scowled and glared at the empty throne. You hated Dettlaff. Hated him for what he did. Hated him for taking over Toussaint. You heard footsteps behind you but didn't bother to turn around.
"Turn around when you know a King is behind you." Dettlaff's smooth voice commanded.
You poked your tongue out just a little then put it back in. Then turned around. You curtsied. "Your Majesty." You said with zero emotion.
Dettlaff smiled. "You're learning fast."
You straightened out of your curtsy. "Is there anything I can do for you sir?" You asked.
Dettlaff frowned. "Hmm. Perhaps there is." He gave you his arm. "Let's go for a walk in the gardens. It is dreadfully dull when walking on your own with only your thoughts to accompany you."
You took his arm with a look of disgust and he started walking out of the room. You followed him. The gardens were nice but the flowers looked sad. You gave the plants a sympathetic look and kept on walking. The two of you walked at a slow pace, probably to enjoy the evening. But you were still angry at him. You always will be. He's the reason your parents are dead.
"Tell me," Dettlaff said, breaking the nice silence. "What's your name?"
You remained silent. Dettlaff gave you a look.
"What is your name?" He growled out.
"*Name*. My name is *Name*." You answered.
Dettlaff smiled. "And where are you from?"
"Originally? A farm somewhere in Toussaint. But then Ma and Pa have climbed up the status ladder and are now noble people who lived in an estate."
Dettlaff nodded. "Interesting."
After a while of walking he slipped his arm out of your hand. He turned to you and bowed.
"Enjoy your evening, *Name*." He said with a smile then left.
You rolled your eyes. "And I'm going to find out more about this woman that hurt you."
You asked around for a while about where he used to live and, after about thirty minutes, you found yourself standing in front of a warehouse.
"Hm. A vampire who is now living in luxury once lived in a warehouse." You mused to yourself and opened the door.
Before you stepped into the warehouse you glanced up at the sign. It was of a rocking horse and made of wood as well. The words 'The Rocking Horse' were painted in cursive on the sign. You raised your eyebrows and went inside. The place was huge and the floor was made of dark hardwood. Toys were placed on shelves, which were pushed against every wall. You took a deep breath in and the faint smell of Nazairi cologne lingered in the air. He definitely used to live here.
You spotted a flight of stairs and climbed them one at a time. Slowly in fact, so as to not disturb the clouds of dust. When you got to the attic you looked around. A bed was pushed against the opposite wall and a drawing of a woman was above the bed. You walked forward and placed your hand on the drawing. Suddenly your fingers felt hot and your veins tingled. You widened your eyes as your head became lighter.
'Oh Dettlaff. You're so hilarious!'
You shook your head from the woman's voice and blinked. That... Never actually happened before. Then your head lightened once again.
'I love you... Rhen.'
That was definitely Dettlaff. You heard his voice, sensed his aura. You took your hand off the drawing and continued to look around. You saw a jewellery box and opened it. Then your fingertips grew hot once again and your veins started to buzz.
The grief that hit your heart was the worst feeling ever. You choked on the feeling and clutched at your heart, trying to calm it down. The music moved around you and you heard a woman's laughter. You smelt her hair. Saw the blue of her eyes. Tears pricked at the corner of your eyes and you took your hand off the box to wipe them away. Then the grief was gone.
"Fuck... What the fuck was that?" You muttered to yourself and rubbed at your heart.
You looked around some more. Finally you spotted pieces of paper. You grabbed the first one and read it out loud.
"Dettlaff Van der Eretein, you do not know, us but we know you... To be a Vampire. We know also of your weakness for the wrench they call Rhenawedd. Now you know this. We shall chain her down and let rats feed on her. We shall flay the skin from her flesh... Yet you can save her. You need but travel to Beauclair, where you shall slay five men in the manner we prescribe." You crunched the edge of the paper in your hand and kept on reading. "You must complete the killing in three days. Fail, and the next letter you receive will contain a memento of your failure - your beloved's finger."
You crumpled up the paper in your hand. Who was this stupid to blackmail a fucking vampire?! Were they even thinking straight or did they have a few loose screws in their head?! Fuck... The shit that humans get up to to get themselves in danger...

The Servant of a Vampire Part 7
Trigger warning: Bit of violence in this one. I thought that since you might have pissed off Dettlaff, and he's already upset because of what she did to him, that he'd hurt you because his mind is pretty clouded over.
You woke up and groaned in pain. Everything hurt. You blinked and opened your eyes. Then sat up to look around. You were in a room. The walls were a pearly white and there was a fluffy rug placed in the middle of the room. You were lying on a bed with a *Favourite colour* sheet and a yellow blanket.
"You're awake." Someone said next to you.
You jumped and turned your head only to see Dettlaff was sitting in a chair with his arms crossed. He was glaring at you with a displeased look.
"Yeah. Sort of." You muttered and rubbed your eye, wincing.
Dettlaff clicked his tongue and shook his head. "I can't believe that you would even try to hurt me. Kill me in fact."
You snorted. "Right. Sure. So it's alright for you to have a group of vampires and they all start killing everyone, especially my parents. But if I do that it's 'unacceptable'." You did the air quotes for unacceptable.
Dsttlaff ggrabbed your chin and put his face really close to yours. "Don't talk to me like that. Didn't your parents ever teach you not to talk to a King like that?"
You gave him a look, which wasn't easy considering the fact that he had grabbed your chin. "Didn't your mum ever teach you not to be a dick towards other women?"
You didn't see the slap but you felt it. Your head turned to the right really fast and you put a hand on your cheek to soothe it.
"Don't talk about my mother that way!" Dettlaff yelled.
"Okay. Okay. Sorry. Wow." You rubbed the spot. "Talk about being over-emotional..."
You had muttered that last part under your breath, forgetting about Dettlaff and his super hearing. Cause the next thing you knew you were being thrown at a wall. You hit the wall, not too hard luckily, and slid down to the floor. Groaning, you stood up to face Dettlaff but he wasn't there. Where the hell was he? Before you could count to ten or even blink he was behind you. Dettlaff grabbed you by the shoulders, put his head close to your neck and bit down. You cried out in pain.
He drank your blood for a bit then took his teeth out from your neck.
"Since you humans are so selfish and thoughtless and incompetent you're going to help me." He muttered, the scent of your blood wafting to your nose.
You scrunched your nose. "Help you? How?" You said weakly.
"You're going to help me understand that not all humans are shit. Can you do that?" He placed his head on your shoulder and looked at you.
You wanted to say 'no'. You really did. But the blue in his eyes were so... Hypnotising. They drew you in towards the darkest depths of Dettlaff's mind and wouldn't take you out.
"Yes." You heard yourself say.
"Splendid!" Dettlaff grinned and let go of you. "Why don't you go get some rest? You've had such a big day."
He then left. You stayed there on the floor for about twenty minutes wondering what the fuck you got yourself into. Helping Dettlaff? Realise that not all humans are shit? Damn. Who hurt him this bad? Your head spun and you needed sleep so you got up and stumbled to the bed, falling onto it sideways and going to sleep.
What name do you guys like best:

This has been living in my head rent free. This has been living in my head rent free. So I might as well put it on my Tumblr! Ugh. So this is ANOTHER Witcher Fanfic that has been driving me nuts and I'm too lazy to put it into Quotev so I'm gonna put it onto Tumblr in parts. I'm sorry.
Summary: When Syanna failed to show up at Tesham Mutna at an appointed time Dettlaff decided to not just raze Beauclair to the ground. He was going to take Toussaint and rule it. So now Vampires rule Toussaint, Dettlaff the main ruler, and any human they have caught is now either dead or enslaved.
The day when Dettlaff took over was *Name's* birthday. *Name* was having... An okay day. Considering the fact that their parents have 'forgotten' and now they are dead... So *Name* has decided to flee Toussaint but that's not going to be easy. Especially since Delenfer Pass has been guarded. *Name* is now hiding in Toussaint thinking of the insane stuff that has happened on their birthday.
Too lazy to write the rest of the summary but you get captured and become Dettlaff's servant for a bit then you fall in love with Dettlaff. EXPECT THIS TO BE BOTH SHITTY AND WEIRD.
Warning: A little depressing.
Title: The Servant of a Vampire
Part 1
Dettlaff:
Syanna didn't show up at Tesham Mutna. Dettlaff knows that. For he was crouching on a tree branch, his icy blue eyes watching the empty ruins. She wasn't there. Dettlaff clenched his teeth together and stood up. Humans are pathetic. All they ever do is lie, manipulate and hurt. They are the true monsters! Not him! He turned around and disappeared into a crimson red mist, only to appear behind Anna Henrietta in minutes.
"Where is he?! Where is Dettlaff?!" The Duchess screamed at the Witcher in anger.
Regis saw him before the Witcher did. His eyes widened and he subtly shook his head. Dettlaff just scowled at him and raised one arm. His pointed nails grew until they were claws.
"Right here." He growled out.
Anna Henrietta turned around and her eyes widened. Before she could do anything Dettlaff stabbed her in the chest and ripped her heart out, throwing it on the ground. He heard the sound of swords being drawn and turned around to look at the guards. He was grinning. Before the guards could attack him Dettlaff killed them. All of them. He turned around and saw Regis dragging the Witcher out of the palace and away from him.
Dettlaff didn't bother to follow them. He has other plans. He turned around and raised his arms.
"Fellow vampires! My name is Dettlaff! Long ago we had humans as slaves! As a source for blood! The time has come for us to do that again! Join me as I take over Toussaint!" He yelled, his voice carrying across the Duchy.
He heard the vampires hiss in agreement and the vampire smiled once again. He'll find Syanna. And when he did, he'll make sure he'll drain her until she had no more blood left inside of her.
Reader
You walked into your home, exhausted and unsure of what was going on. You heard someone saying something about taking over the Duchy but that's going to be impossible. Besides. The Ducal Guard will protect the Toussaintois. You know it.
"Mama! Papa! I'm home! Collected every blueberry, blackberry and raspberry. As you asked." You yelled.
You looked around. Ribbons were pinned on the walls and a huge banner was hung up. It said 'Happy birthday *Name*!' You smiled then frowned. The silence was unsettling. You put the basket onto the table and kept walking forwards.
"Ma? Pa?" You called out again.
You heard shuffling and then growling. Oh this could not be good. You grabbed a small dagger and clutched it tightly. Then you walked into the dining room where you heard the noises. A vampire was on the ground, clutching your father and drinking his blood.
"Fuck." You muttered.
The Vampire heard you and looked up. She snarled and turned invisible. Best birthday ever! Not. You turned and ran for dear life. You didn't grab the basket of berries. You knew you should've but the only thing on your mind was 'Run. Run. Run. Run. Run. Run. Run. Run. Run.'
You heard the vampire running behind you and forced your poor legs to go faster. The last time you ran was when a group of bandits thought it would be fun to torment you. Or that time when your brother dared you to talk to a werewolf. You turned a sharp corner and kept going. No way in hell you were going to be a vampires lunch. You ran out of the family estate and down the path. These shoes were not made for running. One slipped off and you tripped over. You pushed yourself up and kept running. Three furry vampires saw you and chased after you. But you kept running.
You spotted Caroberta Woods and ran off the track to go into a shortcut. There was a panther nearby, dead. The vampire, who was drinking its blood, saw you and got up to chase after you. Shit shit shit. You pushed yourself to go faster. Your body will seriously be punishing you if you ever survived this. You heard a super-sonic scream and then you were pushed forwards. You rolled down a hill, down some rocky steps and into a dark cave. Then you blacked out.
Yennefer. No. Part 3
Geralt paced around the room while looking at Regis anxiously. He was clutching his sheets, tossing and turning and whimpering. Geralt wasn't sure if he was having a nightmare or was in pain. Regis hasn't had any dreams since his blood lust. He chewed his nail. Geralt's super hearing picked up the sound of footsteps and knew someone was approaching him. The smell of gooseberries and lilacs waft to him and he growled low.
"What?" He growled.
Yennefer placed her hands on his shoulders. "I missed you." She whispered in his ear.
Geralt shrugged her off him. "I've got a boyfriend." He said angrily.
"Ohh. But he doesn't remember you. He doesn't love you anymore. But I do."
Geralt could hear the smile. He turned around. "What. Spell. Did. You. Use?!"
He was trying so hard not to throw her out the window. It would be satisfying. After all, she did take Regis from him.
Yennefer's smile fell. "Geralt. I-"
Many people who have experienced or seen Geralt's anger knew that it was freaking terrifying. Yennefer only watched him unleash his anger once. But now she could experience it. Geralt grabbed her by the shoulders and pushed her against the wall.
"TELL ME!" He screamed.
Lambert, who was just walking past the room, stopped and stepped back. He watched with interest.
"Fine." Yennefer cleared her throat. "Rever. Rever. Ahvrais."
Silence. Lambert frowned. "What kind of a shitty spell is that?" He mused to himself.
Geralt scowled and shoved her away from him. "Get lost." He said calmly.
"Geralt-"
Geralt turned around. "Leave!" He screamed and Yennefer got up, running out of the room.
"Need anything?" Lambert asked Geralt.
Geralt nodded. "Every book on spells and their translations. And Triss, if she's willing to help."
Lambert nodded. "Okay. I'll get food for you as well. You haven't eaten in a day. Nor have you slept."
He left and Geralt put his hand on his forehead, sighing. This was so terrible!
"Needed me?" Triss asked and Geralt nodded. "What for?"
"Recognise this spell: Rever. Rever. Ahvrais?" Geralt asked her.
Ross frowned. "Very old elven shit. I do know that 'Re' means 'Go back' and 'Ver' means 'Die.' But 'Ahvrais' doesn't ring a bell."
Geralt froze at the translation to 'Ver'. He spun around. "What?!" He screamed and Triss nodded. "I... I can't lose him! I can't lose Regis! We were to get married! Adopt a kid and retire together! Live happily ever after!"
"I have a feeling 'Ahvrais' is something good though. If that's helpful?" Triss shrugged.
"Leave!" Geralt pointed at the door.
"You sure?" Triss asked in a concerned tone.
"I need to be alone. With Regis..." Geralt looked at his boyfriend, who was still whimpering.
Triss nodded in understanding and left. Geralt walked to the window and put his arm against the wall, staring at the scenery with a sad look. How will he find out how to reverse this spell! Go back. Die Go back. Die? Something. Something. What was he to do?!
"Geralt?" Regis asked softly.
Geralt looked at him with his eyebrows raised. "Yeah?"
Regis raised his arms, inviting Geralt to sleep with him. "I don't want to be alone." He pouted.
Geralt nodded and walked to him. He took his boots off, layed down and curled up against Regis. Regis put his arm down on Geralt and the two fell asleep.
You know what's so funny? My attention wasn't as bad as it was when I was a kid but I couldn't focus that much but I was still able to work and try to understand some stuff. Now? I probably have depression, a shit ton of anxiety and most likely adhd.
