The Servant Of A Vampire Part 11
The Servant of a Vampire Part 11
Short chapter. Mostly for the dramatics.
Dettlaff did say that you were allowed to do whatever you wanted so you decided to continue your investigation on his Rhenawedd. You wanted to know what happened to her. After doing some research you found yourself in front of a set of ruins. Tesham Mutna. Now what you were going to do here is beyond you but you'll figure something out. You walked around, keeping your eyes on the ground. Sometimes a curious crow would fly closer to you. Curious crow. You laughed quietly and thought of how Regis would've responded to that. You missed him and you wondered how he was going. When you got to a certain part of the ruins you stopped.
Your toes started to tingle and so did your fingertips. You had a feeling it was time to do some of that weird magical stuff so you knelt down and put your hands on the ground.
"In forgiving you I grieve. For now we must part."
You felt a stab of grief and gasped. You closed your eyes and saw a romantic view of Nazair. The sun was setting, giving the sky lovely hues of orange, red and pink. Dettlaff was sitting on the edge of a dock, swinging his legs and nervously biting his lip. In his right hand were a bunch of blue roses. You heard footsteps and turned around and so did Dettlaff. He gasped in shock and you had to agree that Rhenawedd did look beautiful. Her hair fell to her shoulders in waves and her eyelids were covered in an amethyst purple powder. Her lips were painted in pink and she wore a red dress with black lace on the hem and sleeves. She smiled at Dettlaff.
"Had a feeling this was going to be a date so I wore a dress. Do you like it?" She spun around and the dress flared outwards.
Dettlaff smiled. "I do. I actually love it. You... You look so beautiful." He gazed at the setting sun and then turned his head back to Rhenawedd. "Come. Sit. I wanted to enjoy a romantic sunset with you and perhaps we can go back to my place."
Rhenawedd smiled and walked to him. She sat down, curled up against Dettlaff and the vampire wrapped an arm around her shoulders. His lover put her head on his shoulder and they watched the sunset...
You gasped again, but this time it was for fresh air. Another stab of grief combined with a strong feeling of anger and hatred and you were suddenly writhing on the floor, screaming.
Regis:
Regis and Geralt were curled up on the floor of Tesham Mutna when they suddenly heard your screams. They got up and ran out only to see you screaming bloody murder on the floor. The screams were screams of anger but tears were rolling down her cheeks. Regis flinched and stopped Geralt from checking on her.
"Don't." He said.
"And why not?" Geralt snapped.
Regis looked at Geralt then looked at you then back at Geralt. He looked as if he swallowed a lemon. Finally, he came to a decision.
"Because she is Dettlaff's Destiny. His Soulmate. His future Mate." He said in a dramatic voice.
Geralt was silenced with shock. The only sounds were the cawing of crows and ravens and your screams. Regis sat down and watched over you. Geralt was too stunned to do anything.
You:
"Mmm. A shame."
"What did you do?"
"What I had to do. What she deserved."
Your next vision was in a kitchen. Dettlaff and Rhenawedd were fighting and Dettlaff was crying.
"I thought you loved me!" Rhenawedd yelled while waving a bunch of yellow flowers like a mad woman.
"I do Rhen! I do!" Dettlaff yelled back through tears.
Rhenawedd threw the flowers at him. "Then what the fuck is this?!" She screamed and Dettlaff flinched, letting the flowers hit him. "I expected more for our anniversary!"
Dettlaff choked back a sob. "I don't have much money." He pleaded. "Please Rhen. You have to understand."
Rhenawedd scoffed. "I expected more from a beast like you. But it turns out that you're not even close to a vampire." She said with a sneer. "I wish to be alone."
Dettlaff watched her leave with a sad look on his face. You wanted to hug him so badly. So so badly. But you were entirely sure that he wouldn't appreciate a hug from a human like you.
You arched your back, screamed once more then the screams died down. And for the second time that week you blacked out...

Driving iis honestly a dangerous thing for me. Cause most of the time it's like:
Brain: Ooh. What's that?
Brain: NEED. TO. MOVE
Brain: Zoning out. Zoning out.
Brain: I have a feeling we have to do something
Brain: Good evening folks. I am a brain and I gave this dumbass the attention span of a banana. Today we got the number one song that's giving us dopamine. Put your hands together for 'SHE'S ALL THAT'!
Dad: Where are you going?!
Brain: Excellent question. But do you mind. I was chatting with them
Brain: We said something stupid fuck knows how long ago and now I'm gonna make you remember that
Brain: We have the exams coming up. We have the exams coming up. We have the exams coming up. We have the exams coming up.
Brain: This is relaxing. I'm a great driver.
Brain: Need music but can't have music cause we're already zoning the fuck out.
The Servant of a Vampire Part 16
Dettlaff:
Dettlaff had finally gotten his shoe back from Dominic and was now walking down the hall. He wanted to find you so he could get more ideas on how to rule Toussaint. He walked to your room and opened the door but you weren't in there. He frowned and wandered around the palace.
"*Name*?" He called but no answer. His heart skipped a beat. "*Name*?"
"Dettlaff. What's wrong?" A voice asked behind him.
Dettlaff turned around to see Brenda. He didn't really like her. Like. At all. He knew she liked him and would do anything to have him.
"Brenda. What did you do to *Name*?!" He growled.
Brenda rolled her eyes. "They're just a human being Dettlaff. Who cares about them? Sooner or later they'll die." She walked towards him. "But me. I live for a long time."
She put her hand on his chest and smiled at him. Dettlaff scowled and pushed her away from him.
"Knights!" He yelled and four knights ran into the kitchen. "Take her away. To the dungeons."
They nodded and tied a silver chain around her. Brenda hissed in pain and struggled against them but to no avail. She looked at Dettlaff.
"Dettlaff. Come on. Don't be ridiculous. You and I are meant to be together." She pleaded but he shook his head.
"No. We're not. Take her away!"
And the guards dragged her down the hall and away from Dettlaff. Dettlaff growled low and punched a hole in the wall. He will not let anybody hurt you! Not ever! He turned into mist and floated out the window and around Toussaint to find you.
You:
Your unknown attacker dragged you to their camp and threw you onto the ground. You landed on your wrist and winced. You looked up at the group of bandits and groaned. There seemed to be around fifty bandits all looking at you with a smile on their face. The leader walked up to you and grabbed your chin. He put his face really close to yours.
"What's your name?" He muttered.
"Why does everybody want to know my name?" You muttered.
The bandit scowled and let go of your chin. He turned to the men. "Okay lads! Let's have our fun with them!" He yelled and the bandits cheered.
Before they took a step closer a deep laughter rumbled around the camp. Everybody froze, including you. Then a crimson mist wafted into the area. It drifted around their feet.
"No. You won't be hurting her." A deep voice said and Dettlaff materialised from the mist. "Because they're mine."
He struck the leader in the chest with his claws and took out his heart. The bandits were shocked so he used that to his advantage. Dettlaff killed most of them but a brave bandit ran to him with a sword and stabbed him in the chest. Dettlaff winced and grabbed the sword, pulling it out. The wound steamed and Dettlaff sliced the bandits head off. He turned to you and stumbled forwards then fainted.
You shuffled backwards and looked at Dettlaff then at Delenfer Pass. You could escape. You could. The exit is right there. All it takes is for you to get up and go. But you couldn't. You stood up and walked to Dettlaff. You had no idea how to get him from here to Beauclair but you'd manage. You know it. You grabbed him by the wrist and dragged him down the path and back to Beauclair.
The Servant of a Vampire Part 15
Dettlaff... You couldn't get him out of your mind. You paced the room again and chewed on your nail. You couldn't stop thinking about his kindness. You groaned and clutched at your hair. Hopefully you'll stop thinking of him. Maybe it's nothing. You heard the footsteps of Dominic running down the hall laughing and squealing at the top of his lungs. What the...? You thought to yourself and poked your head out of your room. Dettlaff was chasing after Dominic, who was holding one of Dettlaff's shoes. You laughed quietly and shook your head before closing the door. Kids...
Suddenly you thought of something to repay Dettlaff! You could bake for him! With a smile you left the room and walked down the hall.
Brenda:
Brenda walked up to the group of bandits near Delenfer Pass and smiled.
"Greetings boys." She said.
The bandits cheered and raised bottles of alcohol. "Brenda!" They cheered.
"We missed you." One said.
"Aye. So. What are we doing today?" Another asked.
Brenda grinned. "Getting rid of the person stealing my Dettlaff. What do you say, boys?" She held up a money pouch but they waved the pouch away.
"We're your... What do the vampires call their friend group? Pack? Right. We're your pack Brenda. What you want we get you." The leader said.
"Aye!" The rest agreed.
Brenda smirked. "Brilliant... Here's the plan..."
You:
You dusted your hands off and wiped them on the apron. You looked at the cake in the pan with pride. You weren't that good with baking but you think you did well. You put the pan in the oven and turned around, taking off the apron.
You heard the swishing of fabric against legs and raised an eyebrow. Who wanted to talk to you? The vampire who lied to the thugs walked into the kitchen. You noticed she had black hair that tumbled over her shoulders in curls. She walked up to you.
"You have to leave." She said.
You tilted your head. "Why?"
"The King doesn't want you anymore. Leave. Leave Toussaint." She snarled.
For some reason that hurt. You lowered your head and nodded. "Of course. Bye."
She scowled and you exited the kitchen. You had no belongings so you left Beauclair with nothing but the clothes on your back. Your bare feet ached on the path but you ignored the pain and kept walking. When you got to Delenfer Pass you stopped.
"Ohh. Look at this boys. A lovely little bird is trying to leave Toussaint!" A mean voice said and someone grabbed you from behind, covering your mouth so you wouldn't scream. "Well tough luck bitch. You're not." They whispered in your ear and then they laughed.
Cliffhanger! And dramatics!
Me: I don't impulsively buy
Also me: *Buys every book I see without any guilt whatsoever*
What the fuck happened to what little attention span I had as a kid? Did the bitch just peace her way out of my life or did someone steal that shit thinking that they wanted it more than me cause as a little kid I had the attention span of a fucking toddler, no matter how old I was. Now. Now I have the attention span of a fucking banana...
