More Regret—I mean Zenonia!

Hi. Its been a while. Too long probably but here I am! Still a desperate Zenonian trying to find content.

There still isn't much so yeah. More drawings.

Sorry, I've been in a long art block as of late. Managed to sketch something out of it though so yay. Still not out unfortunately so have this 1-2 hour drawing of Regret being Regret.

How is Regret really?

He's doing great.

No, he actually is.

But what I mean to tell you is how does a definitely fully functioning adult father Regret acts.

Oh you know. The usual. Pretending to be an adult. Pretending to be wise and know what he's doing. A general mess when it comes to anything remotely related to socializing because being exiled kills your social skills. Panicking internally if he's raising his kid right. Wondering how he's gonna gently tell said kid is adopted. Very very overbearing sometimes because he very much did not want his son to learn how to fight and be a warrior but loves his son so so much that he teaches him because if that's what his baby wants then he will give it.

(Give or take after a few failed attempts to talk to the bullies parents and stop it from happening. He really didn't want Chael to learn to fight. I wonder why?)

Oh. And judging by the flag he's holding... he does not how romance works! So don't ask him for any advice regarding your relationship with Frey, Chael. You're on your own.

So yeah. I don't really ship Regret with Elisa. I like to think their relationship is sort of what he had with Sun. But feel free to ship. Personally, I just don't ship him with anybody.

(Does Regret know he's aroace? No.)

I'm trying to make Regret and Chael not look like each other because duh they shouldn't be but I headcanon that Chael tried to copy Regret's hairstyle so he can be more like his dad. Regret is amused but concerned. Runa thinks its hilarious.

I've been currently loosing my mind of this, so I'm gonna say it-

So, Zenonia, it's an app on the app store, it's an android game, it's really good, for those who haven't played it, I recommend.

Now onto Zenonia 4 spoilers-

In Zenonia 4, Regret has been turned back into a kid again, and like, his son Cheal is there, and I cannot get out of my head this situation-

(For thos who haven't played, Cheal is a grown adult in 4, were his dad is now in the body of his child self-)

Regret - "It's weird I have to act like a kid in towns now..."

Cheal - "Oh?"

Regret - "Yeah, I don't want people to get suspicous"

Cheal - "True..."

Later Regret and Cheal are checking into an inn.

Regret is about to start talking to the inn keeper before Cheal jumps in.

Cheal - "Hello I would like a room with two beds for my Son and I"

It's the squad! Regretism if you will. Regret mitosed! Kidding. He didn't. Sorta.

Pretty sure I already explained why there's four Regrets in another post. But to summarize, Regret kinda fractured his essence so that Shaturu wouldn't be able to get all of his power.

Does that mean that Shaturu has some of his power? Absolutely. But without the Ladon power part. Ladon's power is passed on to the next Regret trying to save the world because he would be dead without it. So in this case, Slayer Regret has it.

I also nicknamed them. Druid is Drew, Ranger is Ray, Blader is Blade—so creative I know—and finally Slayer as Adas because of reasons.

Did I mention that Drew is from loop 1? And that loop 0 Regret is also a thing? And that he's half of all Regret's existence? And how that means that the Regret squad is only using half of their power and splitting it apart because they don't want Shaturu to absorb all of them? And that means that Slayer is just a quarter of Regret? If not, here ya go!

Wonder how the dark power is balanced when Regret isn't whole? Hmm...

Oh yeah. Drew has a bone mask while Ray has a fedora. Didn't draw them because I was lazy. I also apparently forgot Adas' scarf. Woops. That's why Blade was looking more detailed than the others. My bad.

I imagine Drew being the mischievous lazy one. He likes pranking people and trolling Shaturu when he gets a bit close to finding him. He's not active that much in his run because he doesn't really know what he's doing yet. He's trying to find the opportunity to strike and thinks that he can take Shaturu on his own but uh, that didn't work out too well. He got caught. So he cut up his leg to get away from Shaturu.

While Drew is devious and arrogant, Ray is not. He's a bit more calculating and solemn. He's the quiet type to contemplate on what to do next. Too much in fact that Anya almost got killed. So, finally being decisive, Ray decides to sacrifice himself so Anya can escape because she's their only hope now. He gets tortured. Very badly. Hence why he's asleep, again.

Blade is serious. Very serious and very reckless despite being the monotone constant poker face one. With Ray being indecisive, Blade is the impulsive one. Rushing through things and destroying the Mark of Ladons quicker than the others. He's getting sick and tired of the loop and so is Shaturu. Everyone is killed. Shaturu gets the taste of Blade's fury. The whole shebang.

Now Adas. Uh. He's a mess. Being a quarter of yourself plus with every other Regret's memories (read: trauma) showing up in fragments does a lot to your mental state. While every Regret did things solo, he accidentally gets adopted by the Royal Knights and is held captive (affectionate). He gets to make connections and friendships so when he fails to defeat Shaturu, he gets help not only from Chael but also from Ruira and Haz because they aren't commanders for nothing. Much like Drew and also Ray, he doesn't know what he's doing. More than that, he doesn't know what's going on most of the time. He just knows that he has to kill something, save people, and live. He's just vibing most of the time. In constant panic. Like a chihuahua. That's probably why he got adopted.

So to recap, devious overconfidence, calculating indecisiveness, impatient frustration, then panic confusion.

What a lovely friend group.

Am I mass posting Zenonia content? Yes. Yes I am. There's nothing. Bruh. So Imma be a good fanon citizen and fill this shit up.

So. Regret and Pardon, the first characters we see in the Zenonia series.

We never really saw what their father-son relationship looked like so I'm here to rectify that even if I'm not sure how to write it.

Kid Regret is going through 'I'm an adult now' phase while having saddened puppy dog eyes when his dad leaves to visit his other child.

Context: his wife didn't want to raise Regret because her and Dupre weren't ready to raise two children so Dupre became Pardon to raise Regret in secret. But then she died and now he's going from house to house to raise them.

Pardon is just trying his best for the two of them while respecting his wife's wishes.

While Kid Regret doesn't know why Pardon's leaving all the time, he wants to prove he's worth staying for.

(Someone planted those seeds of doubt in Regret's head.)

The armor was sooooooooo hard to draw. Goddammit Pardon, wear some normal clothes for godsake!

Also, Pardon's hair looks like a fucking coconut so if his hair looks like Sukuna that's because I used them as reference.

This is a scene of a fic I'm working on. Basically Pardon addressing the fact his son is currently experiencing child labor. And he doesn't get paid for any of it.

Pardon: They don't pay you?

Regret: I'm supposed to get paid?

But Regret just insists that he doesn't need it and he's doing it out of the goodness of his heart.

Pardon thinks the sentiment is nice but...his son's getting exploited.

The fic is basically kinda a time travel fic where future Regret memories slowly yet surely go to kid Regret just before his dad dies, so Pardon's not dead. Yay. But Pardon gets to react the slow transition and then the full transition later on.

The transition doesn't go smooth.

In fact, it is a very very rocky road for the two of them.

They don't have a good time.

But I sure do :)

It has been quite a while since the last TFF post, hasn't it?

Aha. Ha. My bad. I've been focusing on posting stuff for another fandom because there's literally nothing there. Practically nothing. But I'd digress. This is a TFF post.

And its still about Bryan. Yeah. Not really confident drawing the others. Still trying to find an artstyle for the animatronics because I'm still not happy with how I draw them so no animatronics anytime soon.

Have some not daijobu Bryan though. He is not having a good time.

Still playing around with his design. I wanna change it up because he looks a bit plain aside from the mask but I feel like post apocalyptic clothing with the tank top and cargo pants is stuck. If there are any suggestions, feel free to tell me. I need new ideas.

His eyes kinda looks like Dylan so I gotta change that a bit but the goal is to make his eyes a gold amber-ish color because of reasons.

Trying to write ITH rn. I have an idea for chapter 3 but I haven't gone to actually writing it so maybe its not going so well. I'll get around it, eventually.

ITH is supposed to be me just having fun and making them do stupid stuff because I miss the old cast with a tiny hint of lore. So yeah. Having fun? Gonna take a long long while.
