Happy 10th Anniversary Back In Creature Time!

Thank you to both @kaythefloppa and @jokerislandgirl32 for bringing to my attention that the pivotal Wild Kratts episode Back In Creature Time is 10 years old today!

I remember watching this special with my brother for the first time like it was yesterday! The fact that they had made a two part episode and added the time travel element to the show blew our minds back then! I remember every feeling I had when I first watched this episode, from the awe of the reveal of Aviva’s time trampoline and Zach’s invisibility cloak to the absolute chills I felt when that Zachbot almost incinerated the return pad. And the Kratt brothers were really able to get their message about animal extinction across in a deep and powerful way that has stuck with me since.

I could fan girl so much more about how much I love this episode, but I think I’ll leave it off here! Thank you to the amazing episode Back In Creature Time for giving us such a fun adventure and adding so much more to the plot for us to geek about! Both me and my brother eagerly await the return of the time trampoline in all its glory in a future episode! I for one would love to see them travel back in time once more in another Back In Creature Time!

Wild Kratts Live Question

For any of you who have attended Wild Kratts Live, do you know if the Kratt brothers meet people outside the venue for free after the show?

I really wanna meet them when they come to my city this fall, but I can’t afford the meet and greet package.

If anyone has any tips or info on meeting them I’d really appreciate it!

Whether she’s helping out the Wild Kratts crew or having a secret rendezvous with Zach, Alessandra definitely has her hands full keeping her two worlds apart!

I’ve had this song in my head since I saw Despicable Me 4 and I realized it fits my Wild Kratts OC Alessandra Swift so well! I finally took a crack drawing out her red dress design fully for this video! Hope you guys enjoy!

Wild Kratts Theory: Ancestors In Adapto The Coyote

So I was watching the Wild Kratts episode “Adapto The Coyote” today and I paid a little extra attention to this scene where Chris and Martin are explaining how European settlers drove off wildlife when they first arrived in North America. Now, let’s take a closer look at these settlers, shall we?

From the looks of their silhouettes, I think the animators used existing character models for this scene, specifically Aviva, Zach, and Dabio.

Now, this could simply be to save them from designing new characters for background silhouettes, but of course I like to add some depth to what I see.

What if these settlers are ancestors of Aviva, Zach, and Dabio!

We already know from “Back In Creature Time” that the villains had ancestors who looked quite a bit like them (the Dabio looking silhouette even has a hat like Shabio), so it stands to reason that the ancestors of the other characters would also be look-alikes.

It would certainly be interesting if this was true because that would mean that one of Aviva’s ancestors was considered a villain in their time.

Anyways, those are just my thoughts on this part of the episode! Let me know what you guys think!

I don’t know why, but Zach scaling those giant logs in just four strides is very attractive. I was so impressed by him the first time I saw “Our Blue and Green World”! Like he just climbs thick freshly cut tree trunks like it’s nothing!

That was off topic from the surfer thing, but I do agree that surfer Zach would definitely be fun to see. We’ve seen hockey Zach, fencing Zach… Why not add surfer Zach to the mix? Now I’m curious if he’d be good at it or not…

Definitely fun to think about though! 😉

Hmmm, surfer Zach…not a thought I’d considered, but not one I’m against. He actually looks pretty hot like that 😉.
