Finally was able to draw some fan art for Aemma! 😭

I like to think that she’s older in this piece (in my head cannon for this piece Aemma doesn’t end up traveling to Kings Landing until she’s a bit older. There’s a little AU that I’ve come up with where Aemma hopefully ends up with someone else, maybe this time around she gets to live a little bit longer). It’s kind of sad that there’s a very notable lack of fan art for Aemma, so that was one of the main reasons on why I drew this in the first place. This was meant to be a quick sketch of sorts, so I may end up changing her design later on if I’m able to draw more fan art of her.

I hope you don't mind me asking but I just wanted to ask what brushes you're using :Dc and what are their settings if you're comfortable sharing. Your lines have so much control and dynamics to them! Very lovely work!

You’re so kind thank you!! Well to be honest all 3 of my brushes are quite chunky 😅 I think what helps is warming up/practice more than brushes BUT I will totally share them regardless:

The Comics MaxPack - MaxU Ballpoint Pen brush for sketching and line work; I use the same brush as my eraser for when I’m cleaning up edges or sharpening points & tapers

The Procreate Nikko Rull for rough and textured painting

The Procreate Soft Brush for soft gradient painting and wispy goodness

*I don’t adjust the settings on any of these as I’ve found I like the way they are!

Yet another addition to the ASOIAF x Harry Potter AU that I’m way too overly fond of. I tried changing things up a bit by creating this piece in Procreate for once (I usually try for Photoshop whenever I do have the urge to draw anything digitally). Although I despise the idea of only having up to 130 layers open in Procreate, the choices for brushes is way better compared to what’s available for Photoshop on the iPad. Had lots of fun messing around with the brushes for this piece which is always a plus! Anyways moving back on topic, I decided to go with more of a portrait feel for this new piece of Fem!Harry or Harriel as I like to refer to her. I decided to go with a green color scheme for this one instead of any Targaryen colors when compared to my last post (there’s also another animal in addition to the dragon motif in this new post as well). I might try my hand on a more Gryffindor look for a future piece (maybe I’ll make a stag inspired piece too if I’m able too). Anyways onwards to more fem Harry shenanigans!
