Imagine Garmadon visiting the monestary and he meets Morro, and even though Morro’s shy at first, they begin to get along really well. Garmadon talks and tells Morro silly stories of his and Wu’s childhood, and Morro says how he’s training to be a ninja and Garmadon teaches him a few tricks and they look at old pictures or make their favorite meals, etcetera, and Garmadon becomes a father figure to him (alongside Wu), and they both laugh and enjoy the visits so Garmadon comes regularly.

And then there’s Wu, watching at the side with a soft smile and tears in his eyes, because he is so happy his son and brother are bonding like they are, but so devastated because he doesn’t dare tell them Morro is training to specifically become the green ninja, or that Garmadon is the one that he’ll (supposedly) be fighting to determine the fate of all of Ninjago, (seen as Wu thought Morro was the green ninja at the time, and assuming he knew about the venom’s effect,) but he doesn’t want to ruin the moment so he just walks away with a heavy heart, wishing destiny didn’t have to take his family away.

The final battle would be much more heartbreaking once they each realize who they’re up against if Morro did turn out to be the green ninja

Ninjago Pilots: Episode 4 - Weapons of Destiny

Black, White and Blue, having escaped from the evil bony biker gang, think Kai and the old man are dead. Kai, however, leaves the death trap of a temple with his sister on a paper-mache looking dragon. The rest of them obtain paper dragons and they all spin into a hole that transports them to the evil world of rocks. They defeat the bony knuckleheads there by spinning inside a giant yellow tornado to create the ultimate prison ferris wheel of death. They find the old man battling the crusty bone leader and do absolutely nothing to help him. The leader wins but then poofs away from the four shiny sticks’ power and a giant spiny hole forms. Lord G walks into it and disappears, no one stopping him. The quadruple fruit colored dorks and their master exit the rocky world and are happy despite having lost to the one guy who didn’t lift a single finger and still managed to win.

Okay Ninjago fandom, let’s see if we can play a game.

I’m going to briefly summarise the plot of of the first pilot episode in a comedic way, and the next person must do the same for the next episode. Local independent business owner, Kai, gets heckled by an old man and then biker skeletons show up and kidnap Kai’s sister for no reason. The old man tells Kai that the skeletons work for his evil brother who he pushed into a hole once, and then he promises to teach Kai the art of spinning real fast. However Kai only learns the art of spilling the tea. Then Kai gets attacked by ninja and must fight them with his toothbrush!

Friendly reminder that Quanish did appear in the show, and was mistakenly thought to be Wu by Cole and Jay in season 8:

Just look at him, the poor old man, he looks so troubled, and he’s always regarded to as a ‘fool’ by the people he saved with his work :’((
